Starting week 3 of flowering and week 6 of over all growth. she seems to be very happy now that I've fixed the pH issue and she is growing pretty fast. I decided to do a decent defoliation and pull everything to the sides again trying to keep her as wide as possible. I also super-cropped a few of the shoots in the middle to keep them at the same height as the branches I pulled down and to the side.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. After a previous fresher week, heat is back and daytime temperature reach 25-27° C again, plants are now flowering and the only automatic is close to be ready (about 2 weeks left I think). I will inspect triconomes with my lenses and microscope. 2x ICE 78cm (+6cm) & 69cm (+2cm) === No idea why this difference! Hey now, this week went pretty good! The Acid Dough from Ripper Seeds is almost done stretching, she didn't get as tall as I hoped but that was mostly my fault for training her too long. I have noticed no matter how long I train the stems outward, they always grow back up towards the middle in the end, so I am starting to think I am wasting height of colas by training a few days or a week too long. Anyways, other than that I did some light defoliation and that is about all. Super excited to see what my first run of Ripper Seeds will produce! At this point, I’m wondering if there was something I could have done earlier to avoid the significant height difference between the two plants. Jack Herer turned out compact, while Northern Lights grew taller, with buds more scattered and spaced out. A few weeks ago, I did some lollipopping to remove very low, underdeveloped buds, and also some defoliation to help light reach areas that were shaded. I’ve been really struggling with the Berlin summer. I can’t get the tent temperature below 28°C. Sometimes the humidity outside the tent is higher than I’d like, but since I don’t have a dehumidifier, I usually just leave it as is, especially since it rarely stays above 55% for too long. Just a quick note about the nutrient Vegan Phosphor Boost: I’m following the recommended dosage of 3g per 10L of pot size (not per liter of water). Unfortunately, GrowDiaries only allows nutrient input based on volume per liter of water, so I can’t log it exactly as used.

11/9: The first Blackberry (Halle Berry) is dry now and beginning to cure....will probably sample it tomorrow.😋 The next 5 that I harvested are drying in a dark room at 75f with 60% RH and minimal airflow.👍 The colas of the remaining 11 plants are now within 9 inches of the QB's....MAXIMUM PAR! I've increased UVB exposure by an additional hour a day. I've got the portable AC on high and blowing across their tops, which is keeping the temp just below 80f on them...they should be just fine..👌 11/13: I harvested the purple Wedding Cheesecake and all three Lemon Pies today. 11/15: I flushed the last two orange sherbets for the second time, but with only a few gallons each...I flushed the last two wedding cheesecakes, and the 3 x gorilla cookies with 8 gallons each.

day 26 of flower, gorgeous plant very unique leaf structure, and tall as hell, the experiment of topping on say 4 of flower seems to be paying off, i’m very happy with it at this height. looks like the beginning of anthocyanin breakdown are occuring in the fan leaves

Hi everyone Today day 23 and yesterday I snap branches and thigh is with tape but today I seen branches bend down but it hill I'm going to start use bloom on her I feed her this week with 1ml silica .5 calmag 4ml grow 2ml heaven 2ml activera .5 bloom .5 topmax Next week will go down grow and go up with bloom hope she grow big and bushy but will see Day 24 I flush each with 3L water due run off ppm was 1300 if you not check run off ppm autoflower will be late flowering and we don't want that I make this mistake on last grow orange sherbat yeah I didn't flush her and she preflowering for 4 weeks lol So after that I decided to give plain water once a week it safe some money too but I'm always greedy to give more nutrients

This week ( last 4 days) the plant took off. The roots reached the nutrients rich water and the plant is growing very fast. The PPM dropped from 320 to 290 in the last 4 days and the PH is going up. I had to adjust down the PH tow times those last 4 days. My CO2 levels are kind of high ( between 650-1000) without adding any CO2. I’m trying to keep the temperature at 78 degrees Fahrenheit day time and 73 degrees Fahrenheit at night. Humidity swings a lot because of the AC . I’m using a humidifier and I try to keep it between 60 and 80% RH day time and 50-60% RH at night. After I cahanged the water at day 21 I increase the light intensity to 42%. For light I’m using Fluence Spydr 2i along with the fluence dimmer. I’m a beginner, this is my 2nd grow and I don’t have a lot of experience. I will really appreciate any comments or help if you guys notice that I’m doing something wrong. I’m here to learn and gain experience because I love this stuff!!

So grow diaries is acting up really bad. It won't let me finish putting in nutrition. Hopefully it get fixed soon. So when Pablo Escobar sprouted, she pushed herself out of the rockwool. She is rooting lower down. Plus I didn't have the light turned up enough. So she stretched a lot, and got top heavy. So if she makes it, this will be a interesting grow against a few odds. Things are going, I dunno about good, but there is a chance. Hi Growers, Week 2 of flower is here and the plants are clearly in full stretch mode. Every day they grow taller and fill the space nicely. Both ladies look healthy, strong and full of vigor. The male has already opened his first pollen flower, so pollen production has begun. I’ll start collecting some pollen soon and pollinate the two females. ——————————————————————————— Druhý týden květu je tady a rostliny jsou jasně ve fázi stretche. Každý den rostou a krásně zaplňují prostor. Obě samice vypadají velmi zdravě, silně a vitálně. Samec už otevřel první pylový květ, takže produkce pylu začala. Day 35 and I can finally see them putting weight back on after the light situation. Debating on top dressing one more time or not, we’ll see in a couple of days.

Started germinating Tropicana cookies & Orange Sherbet F1 FAST FLOWERING from Fast Buds, germinated in 24 hours, planted into jiffy starters & sprouted within 24 to 48 hours. So far I've been happy with Fast Buds genetics 100% success rate, 6 out 6 germinated FF1 & Auto's. Looking forward to see how these fast flowers go? This FF1 grow will start off my perpetual grow cycle again.

She's filled out really nicely in these final weeks. The leaves are maturing and turning amber, I hope to cut the plant here soon, I don't want too much amber in the buds, as I'm aiming for a more cerebral head high. She's got really nice citrusy diesel tones. Very similar to my first grow with notable different tones. Make sure to check back again soon as I will add more pictures throughout the week!
