I have applied a little defoliation on this lady, I decided to remove the biggest leafs and see how she does, tomorrow she's gonna be flipped into flower finally on February 15th I cannot wait to see how this plant performs, hope a nice stretch on the transition before flower! Week 4 in the books. She started throwing pistils this week. Cruising along and handling the training like a champ. She's drinking about a cup of water daily and her roots are thriving in the runoff caught in the 2nd cup, which gets dumped before each new watering. Strong structure and starting to get a little smell. She smelled like celery leaves up to this point. I've raised her closer to the light to increase light intensity.

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

I should be putting up my scrog net now I guess...maybe next tie down if she allows. Dropping temps to 18 at night is the biggest challenge: it makes her more nice n frosty looking. I still can't select my nute line so no point in shown m off.

Beautiful pheno of Ak420 by seedstockers same smell as her sister, the other 2 plants of this same ak420 package, let's see how this wonderful lady keeps developing, I think I could have train this lady just like this but I should have gave her a few more weeks of growth before changing the light cycle.

I am dropping a RSV11 from Terpyz mutant Genetics. I ightly scuffed the seed ends, and dropped it in the water. I will wait 24 to 48 hours or as soon as I see a tap root. Nothing else to report on at the moment. Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time I’m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. I’m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

Sour diesel and northern lights are ready to be chopped. I will put them in the basement in the dark for at least a day before I cut them down. The clone from the expert haze had to be tossed because I found spider mites on it and then found them on my expert haze plant outdoors. I shouldn’t have brought the clone inside, oops I will not be making another clone of this plant. I have found caterpillars all over everything and didn’t want to spray the buds with pesticides so every day a couple of times a day I would remove them. They eat a lot so I don’t have as much production at harvest. I will be more aggressive with the expert haze with pest control.

1/12/21 - The fan leaves seem to be dying off kinda. Check the pictures. The buds and sugar leaf look great! We are giving plain water until harvest. 1/13/21 - They are ripening up and will be ready for harvest on the 17th! We are prepping as we will wet trim then make thc pain salve from all of the popcorn nugs and trim. We will be using a drying rack. It just seems like the best option for this grow. 1/14/21 - We might chop them tomorrow or Sunday. Either way we will be harvesting this weekend. The buds look amazing! We can’t wait to harvest and make pain balm with the popcorn and trim. 1/15/21 - Harvest Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *We will update the diary with dry weight and details in a week or so*

Wow what a stretch in a week! 20cm +! She took a bit to move to flow but when she did, she did in style. So far no smell but by the way she grows looks like a nice smoke 😂

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. Just plain forgot to report last week. Things are looking good in here this year. I've seen some light thrips damage in here, but no spider mites yet. 🤞 They can blow in through the roof vents and cause problems some years. Going to flush starting next week. Will try to get 4 good flushes in before the harvest at around 10 weeks. I've got 5 plants of Mac and Crack to go in their places in a month's time to flower under natural light. Smells great in here. Tropical Skunk with some citrus and mango hints. Yum. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.
