They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! The heads are starting to swell now , the lowers are looking undeveloped still. I might do a little defoliation to let in some more light next week. I’ve noticed the first bit of change in a couple of the old lower fan leaves this week. At this stage I’m not too concerned. Buds are frosty, sticky and dank smelling.

24/08/25: Today was the day! After checking the trichomes, I’d say the ratio was around 1:4 amber to cloudy, with no clear trichomes left in sight. Pretty much the perfect harvest window and I am super happy that I kept them a little longer since I didn't detect any pests/mold whatsoever while trimming! 😁🤞🏼 I went for a wet trim this time so I can dry them in DryFerM bags, which I’ve heard a lot of good things about and am excited to try out. The trimming session intense since I had to cut a lot of leaves and the smell was really strong! Both plants surprised me with a strong diesel/fruity aroma that I hadn’t noticed as much before. The Sativa-leaning pheno is fruity with fresh lemon terps, while the other leans into those spicy, earthy notes with even more gas, which I love! The smaller plant also developed some beautiful purple buds, which I never had before. All in all, I’m very pleased with how this first run with autos turned out, especially since the two phenotypes ended up so distinct in both looks and aromas.

After all research of why plants are going at different rates the only conclusion Conclusion I’ve come to is to do with the fan being too close to the top left Plant and the Seeds to come from different plants but same strain. Will need to go back to royal queen seeds to ask the question??? Leaf burn from wind burn can slow growth of plants

The time has come!!!! I was gonna give it a couple more days but I’m too antsy and want to get this girl drying already. I will be cutting her down at the end of today she has been getting straight water these past week she isn’t getting any color just yellowing of the leaves. She smells minty when defoliating but the buds smell skunky and dank asf. Light green buds remind me of old school weed I used to smoke in HS shits amazing.

Got 2305 into her final home in a 3 gallon pot, I used grow dots at 1 table per gallon of medium and made the bottom 3rd of the soil a little hot with fresh ocean Forrest soil, and purple cow non manure compost.. and moved her to my new ac infinity 3x3 tent!

Hi all, Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Thank you so much for your all support on this bananas journey 💜💚💜💚 Week 12 Jan 1 - Jan 7 I am so happy seeing how my girls are developing. All it's going great. 2 waterings of 8ltr on 03/01 no runoff and second on 06/01 9.5ltr! Runoffs PH at 6.2. Purchased larger dehumidifier and installed on 03/01 instantly humidity decreaseed from 55-59 to 50-55 on avg. and at night from 62-69 to 54-60. Light from 01/01 on max power output 110 watts. Nutes slightly adjusted. Buds on both girls gaining size, weight. Trichomes on Athena mostly milky and clear with only very few ambers. Xena mostly 50/50 clear and milky, They are smelling gorgeously, not sure if I should smoke or eat them first. Next week will still feed with nutes and keep an eye on trichomes development but it seems that girls are not in a hurry at all. That's okay me neither 😁 Stay tuned for next week entry very soon!
