Started flushing the biggest plant today the should have about another week & half left on it, all the other ones are still clear & cloudy! Fingers crossed everything goes good through harvest I have never flushed or done any of the harvest or cure process😅😬

Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back! 💚 Nach der siebten Blütewoche ist es Zeit für die Cali Orange Bud! Also sind es nun genau 8 Wochen plus 2 Tage. Heute ist auch noch Erntetag! Ein Klassiker aus den early Days! Bei dem heutigen Cali Hype finde ich es ein besonderes wesentlich auch Mal wieder zu den ursprünglichen Cali Strains zurück zu gehen! Diese hier finde ich dafür besonders geeignet, da sie einfach ein Klassiker ist! Das Aroma ist ein klassische Cannabisaroma mit einer dezenten süße und leichten Lakritz ähnlichem Aromen. Was ich in diesem Grow wieder bestätigt bekommen habe ist, dass reguläre Samen nicht ReVegitiert werden sollten! Also damit meine ich die Pflanze zur Geschlechtsbestimmung ein kurzes Zeitfenster auf den 12/12 Lichtzyklus zu stellen, damit sie schneller ihr Geschlecht zeigt. Tut es nicht! Wartet lieber ab, bis die Pflanze sich selbst offenbart. Meist nach 5 bis 6 Wochen Wachstum geht sie von ganz alleine in die Vorblüte und dass auch bei einem 18/6 Lichtzyklus. Durch das ReVegitieren, hat die Pflanze an Stabilität verloren, daher tragen die Seitäste nun das Gewicht der Blüten nicht gut und die Blätter verkrüppeln zudem. Außerdem liegt die Pflanze mehr zum Foxtailing! Die Umgebungsgegebenheiten sind aktuell hot and dry: ————— 🌞 Temp: 27°C 🌚 Temp: 18°C bis 19°C 💨 RH: 49% VPD: 1,42 kPa 💡ppfd: 830 mpm ————— Viele Grüße 👋

The girls are doin pretty good this week. Finished off L.S.T. earlier in the week. Applied first re-amendment of nutes, not including the compost tea from last week. Turned the light almost all the way up. Hoping to flatten out the canopy with a trellis net. There doesn't seem to be deficiencies on the new growth, and they're going full steam ahead so I'm happy about that.

So heres my germination method. Soak/shake seeds in 3% h202 solution for a few minutes and let sit until tiny bubbles form on seed coat. Rinsed in clean rain water. Then placed in HPO's GREEN-SUPREME used as seed soak solution. With a small amount of ANTI-MATTER for enzymes. Soaked 12hrs (mostly I just soak a few hrs) Straight into Gro-Dirt Super Starter soil. Watered seeds in gently with diluted DARK-MATTER solution to get the mycorrhizal species attached as soon as possible. Once they came up, 18-24hrs later, sprayed gently with a mix of GREEN-SUPREME & RHIZO-MOJO Just a small pinch of both in a 1ltr spray bottle. All this was done in a dark warm place on a heat mat. Explosive growth this week. They are ready for the flip and will be going into 12/12 in two days This strain is by far and away the fastest and most heavy veg growth in the garden. Seeing some of the harvests on here (AstroBoy) makes me drool. Big thanks to OSS for the tester beans

Sprinkle with Kraft to add nutrients and spray the leaves with Epsom salt. The second bed of leaves is starting to recover from the magnesium deficiency.

Week 5 everything was on par with week 4 however, girl #1 seemed to start slowly pulling away from girl number #2. They were almost the same height week 4 but towards the end of week 5 girl #1 had a noticeable height difference with girl #2. Also it seems I have 2 different Phenos. Girl #1 looks at the end of week 5 as if she is starting to move towards flowering. While girl #2 is just getting bushy and not very much height. I did do some defoliation of the big fan leaves on each girl and any leafs blocking the light of potential budsites. also I removed the more undeveloped lowers. Hopefully I didn’t stress them out too much removing as much as I did. I really didn’t feed them to to much This week. They are recovering from very mild nute burn from week 4. Also I think they grew closer to where i had the light so I raised the lights up a few more inches. I barley turned the lights power up that’s why it’s been a littler warmer than usual.

Die letzte Blütewoche hat heute begonnen. Bin jetzt bei Tag 58 (25.08) die Glookies hat angegebene 60-70 Tage Blütezeit und die Blue Cheese 60-65 also werde ich beide 65 Tage machen, ich denke damit fahr ich ganz gut. Am Donnerstag 29.08 werd ich Ihr das letzte mal Licht geben, dann Freitag und Samstag ohne Licht und Sonntag morgen wird geharvestet :D Dunkelphase wurde gestern (28.08) eingeleitet. 1 of the bubba kush & 2 of the gorilla zkittlez are a little behind but over all everything seems to be going good so far! Day 10 update transplanted all the ones in smaller pots to 5 gallon pots except 1 of the bubba Kush it still needs a few more days! Everything else seems to be going great!

PATIENCE, cooler temps and straight water for 2 weeks, girls smell sweeter each time I have a look inside. getting close to $60 for 2 complete grows with my SF 2000. my next grow I will factor in all costs from dirt, seeds to all electricity and nutrients. Some amber showing, won’t be too much longer I’m ready but the girls have other plans apparently, so I wait...waiting for the sun, waiting for the sun.... 2/28/21. .... well shit, the girls won't be ready together, which means I will need to use another tent to start drying. my place will be packed up in boxes ready for the movers except for a drying tent for the kush...its gonna be close. Later that day... one plant harvested at 1.4lbs wet (22.5 oz) Life is good

Buds are growing😁 I think I might have nutrient burned my plants a bit, especially the Wedding Cheesecake. I've decided to listen the advices from @nonick123 and remove the BioGrow. I'm still searching a good way to water them, they seems to drink more some days, so I try to adapt. The smell is super strong in the room now, it smells really good 😎

P1 ~ P5 - I designed this mobile support structure with GoPro attachment system, it supports a mobile in one of the tent's vertical support bars while it records a full timelapse. If anyone has a 3d printer and feels lazy to design it just ask for it, I can send a blender file or an STL, Cheers!. P7 & P8: First night shoots, this was a quick test with the new acquired lights just opened. P16: Second night shoot test, just a bit better than the first try. P20: As you can see the horizontal branches are too slim, I started this week with Rhino Skin support to see if it helps, but what is going to really help is time I guess. P21 ~P27: At last some decent shots, I need to improve the illumination and the way I use the lights, but well... I'm a beginner and have a lot to learn. P28: My nutrients fridge (last year she stands at 15ºc, but this year she's only able to reach 17ºc), and also the foliar products that I'm going to apply. P30: Smoked some Spliff Dutch Auto at night and feel a bit creative, that's what came up of photoshop and P26 & P27 photos ;). -----WEEK SUMMARY----- I don't know if this is normal in a growing stage, but Alice K. has started to lovely stink all my home, it's awesome how she's smelling without any flower or pistil on her. I can't imagine how much is she going to smell. Finally I bought some lights and a background system to learn to make dark background photos, I purchased a normal bg system @amazon with 3 x 2x3 m backgrounds and the support system, it's too big for my living room haha!, also purchased a pair of LumeCubes with all the accessories, they are super versatile lights and awesome for my needings, I'm sure that there are similar performance lights even equal, much much more cheap, but I liked these for various reasons, if anyone is interested just ask me. Along the week I didn't have much time to full test the lights, I was only able to perform some quick tests. Along the weekend I expent some more time, and something is begin to came out of my camera ;). As you can see on timelapse video, at the end of the week the plant is already fixed to the final 12 points as I told last week, and is already covering all the horizontal space available in the tent. At time I'm not going to make more prunes or toppings as I like the structure she's getting. I still feel that the horizontal branches that are going to support the plant are too slim, so I'm planning some more weeks of growing, until I see them enough strong to support themselves. This was a terrible mess. Until this week I've been watering with very high PH without knowing it. The PH meter I was using was not well calibrated and I thought so, before yesterday (Week 7) I recovered my PH tester and when I measured I was impressed because I have been watering at PH 7 ~ 8, while I thought I was using PH 5.8. Luckily, things have not going ugly, 💯 for the AK. About temperature and humidity, this is the last week of imbalance in my cultivation system since it is strongly linked to outside. As September enters, immediately the temperature and humidity stabilize itself inside my tents, so it's time to run the 90x90 one ;). This week I also applied a foliar irrigation with a bit of organic insecticide "Tec-Forte", just for prevention. I killed a white Spider 2 or 3 weeks ago and also observed som insect white spots in one leaf, after that I did 2 foliar irrigations along last weeks with B.A.C. "Plant Vitality Plus", "Foliar Spray" & "Pro Active", and I haven't seen any more sign. So this is going to be my last foliar with that extra preventive, to keep things clean of unwanted life. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 28/08/19 (Day 37) - 3,000 ml with all week nutrients @ 1 E.C. Al fin esta semana me he decidido a comprar unas luces y un fondo para aprender a hacer fotos con fondo negro, el fondo he comprado uno normalito de 2 x 3 m, aunque me queda muy grande en el salón de casa, de luces me he comprado una pareja de lumecubes con los accesorios, son una luces super versátiles y excelentes para mis necesidades, seguro que hay cosas de rendimiento parecido o igual y mucho más baratas, pero a mi me gustaron estas por varios motivos. Si alguien está interesado que me pregunte. Durante la semana no tuve mucho tiempo y sólo pude realizar unas pruebas cortas. El fin de semana me puse un poco más a fondo y ya empieza a salir algo decente ;). Como se ve en el vídeo semanal, al final de semana ya he atado la planta a los tres puntos que comenté la semana pasada y ya está cubriendo todo el espacio horizontal disponible en el armario, por el momento ya he acabado los cortes y las podas, no tengo planeado realizar más a no ser que lo vea necesario. Sigo teniendo la impresión de que las ramas son quizás un poco delgadas aún por lo que planeo unas cuantas semanas de crecimiento más, hasta que engorden y las vea capaces de hacer buenas colas y resistir su peso. Hasta esta semana he estado regando con el PH alto sin saberlo. El medidor de PH que usaba no estaba bien calibrado y yo creía que sí, antes de ayer (Semana 7) recuperé el mío y al medir me quedé impresionado pues he estado regando a PH 7~8, mientras yo creía estar usando PH 5.8. Menos mal que las cosas no se me han puesto feas. Con respecto a la temperatura y humedad esta es la última semana de desequilibrio en mi sistema de cultivo ya que está fuertemente ligado al exterior, ya entra Septiembre y enseguida se estabilizan la temperatura y humedad solas. Esta semana también apliqué un riego foliar con un poco de insecticida orgánico "Tec-Forte", solo por prevención. Maté a una araña blanca hace 2 o 3 semanas y también observé algunas manchas blancas de insectos en una hoja, después hice un par de riegos foliares durante las últimas semanas con B.A.C. "Plant Vitality Plus", "Foliar Spray" y "Pro Active", y no he visto ninguna señal más. 🥒 Project Blue Tent – Week 5 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Pheno A (Folder 14A) Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from Project Blue Tent! 💙🌱 If this is your first time stopping by, welcome! Project Blue Tent follows four individual plants, each documented in its own dedicated diary from seed all the way to harvest. Every plant receives the exact same environment, nutrients, lighting, irrigation and care, allowing us to observe how each phenotype expresses its own unique personality despite sharing identical conditions. This week marks another exciting milestone for Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Plant A. After recovering beautifully from topping, it was finally time to install one of my favourite training techniques... The SCROG net. 🌿 Week Five – The Canopy Begins This week was less about vertical growth and more about shaping the future. With the plant fully recovered from topping and growing faster than any of the others inside the tent, I decided the timing was perfect to install the SCROG net and begin spreading the canopy. Plant A immediately confirmed my suspicion. She has become the most vigorous plant in the room.While the other ladies settled comfortably beneath the screen, this phenotype almost seemed eager to escape it. Every branch wanted to continue growing upward, so the goal this week became gently guiding that energy sideways instead. One branch at a time.One square at a time. Nothing forced. Nothing rushed. SCROG is very much a daily conversation with the plant rather than a one-time training session. Looking at her today, I already have the feeling she may end up occupying the largest portion of the canopy. Only time will tell, but she's certainly making a strong case for herself. 🕸️ What is a SCROG? SCROG stands for Screen of Green, and despite the name, the net itself doesn't actually support the buds. Its primary purpose is to control the plant's shape. Instead of allowing one dominant top to grow taller than everything else, the branches are gently guided horizontally beneath the screen. As each branch reaches a new opening, it's carefully tucked into the next square, encouraging the plant to spread across the available space rather than simply reaching toward the light. The result is a flatter, more even canopy where many growing tips receive similar light intensity. Instead of producing one large cola and many smaller ones hidden underneath, the plant is encouraged to create dozens of equally productive flowering sites. It's one of the most effective ways to maximize light efficiency inside smaller tents. 🤔 Is SCROG for everyone? Not necessarily. One important thing many new growers don't realize is that once the plant is woven into the screen, moving it becomes extremely difficult. Need to remove the pot? Almost impossible. Want to rotate the plant? Not anymore. Need to carry it somewhere else? Forget about it. The plant essentially becomes part of the tent. For growers who frequently move their plants for maintenance, watering or photography, SCROG can quickly become frustrating. Personally, I don't use it on every grow. But in compact setups like this Project Blue Tent, where every square centimetre matters, I absolutely love working with it. There's something incredibly satisfying about visiting the tent every day, gently guiding a few branches, watching empty spaces slowly disappear, and seeing the canopy become flatter and more uniform with each passing day. It isn't a technique everyone will fall in love with... But it's definitely one I encourage every grower to try at least once. Only by experiencing it can you decide whether it's the right style for your own garden. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions This week the environment remained stable, allowing the plants to focus entirely on recovering from training and continuing vigorous vegetative growth.Average conditions were: • 🌡️ Day temperature: 30°C• 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative humidity: 58% • 🥥 Root zone temperature: 24°C • 💦 Nutrient solution: 18°C • ⚗️ pH: 5.8 • ⚡ EC: 1.92 mS/cm • 💨 CO₂: approximately 450 ppm • 💡 Light schedule: 18/6 Even with slightly warmer daytime temperatures this week, the plants have continued to show excellent vigor thanks to stable root temperatures, consistent irrigation and healthy airflow throughout the tent. 🥥 Feeding Update One observation from the previous couple of weeks was the slightly lighter shade of green across all four plants. Although they remained healthy and continued growing without slowing down, I felt they were asking for just a little more food. Rather than waiting for deficiencies to develop, I made a small adjustment to the nutrient solution. Current feeding now consists of:• Plagron Hydro A — 1.9 ml/L • Plagron Hydro B — 1.9 ml/L • Plagron Hydro Roots — 1 ml/L This small increase has already made a noticeable difference. The fresh growth is returning to a richer shade of green while maintaining the vigorous posture I've been seeing throughout the project. One of the things I continue to appreciate about growing in coco is how quickly plants communicate with you. Small adjustments often produce visible improvements within just a few days, making it much easier to fine-tune nutrition before small issues become bigger ones. 🌿 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Plant A This phenotype keeps reinforcing the impression she's given me since the beginning. She's vigorous. Responsive. And full of energy. Even after being bent beneath the SCROG net, every branch seems determined to keep pushing upward, which is exactly the kind of behaviour I was hoping to see before entering the next stage of vegetative growth. The stems continue thickening beautifully, making the training process much easier than it would have been with weaker growth. The internodal spacing remains compact, the foliage is healthy, and the plant has handled every bit of stress I've introduced so far without missing a beat. At this stage she already feels like a plant that's going to demand plenty of room. Whether she ultimately becomes the dominant lady inside Project Blue Tent remains to be seen, but she's certainly making her intentions known. 🔍 Looking Ahead Over the coming week the focus will remain exactly where it should be. No rushing.No unnecessary stress. Simply continuing to tuck new growth beneath the SCROG screen while allowing the canopy to expand naturally across every available square. I'm excited to see how each phenotype responds to this new training style. Some plants naturally embrace SCROG. Others fight it every step of the way. That's one of the reasons I love documenting projects like this. Every week the plants teach us something new.
