Buds r maturing nicely and loads of colas on her. Tips of leaves r showing nutrient burn so I halved the nutes and will see how it goes. Think that terpinator sent it over the edge with all the other biobizz nutes too. It better make the buds stink!! Another couple weeks n she might be ready!

🌱 General Development White Russian had a more eventful week. She reacted to light intensity and showed first signs of top bleaching, so I raised the lamp slightly, which immediately helped. Buds are chunkier than Bubblegum and stacking more aggressively, with a classic frosty look. 🌿 What I Did This Week • Raised the light to prevent bleaching and heat stress on top colas. • Enzyme tea (light) to boost microbial activity and help the plant handle the mid-flower nutrient demand. • Adjusted irrigation to 5–6 L, keeping the soil evenly moist. • Checked worms under the avocado → great activity, soil thriving. ⚠️ Issues Noticed • Some upper sugar leaves slightly yellowing → normal light stress + high metabolism in mid-flower. • A few lower leaves yellow → absolutely normal for Week 5–6 flower in living soil. Nothing alarming, the plant is stable and responding well. 📈 This Week’s Progress • Buds thickened significantly. • Aroma stronger; more citrus/spice notes coming through. • Resin production clearly increasing. • Structure tightened after the light adjustment. ✨ Closing Note White Russian is definitely the more vigorous one this cycle. After raising the light she bounced back instantly. Buds are swelling, resin is coming, and the canopy looks incredibly uniform. Day 72, 21st of November 2020: Hi! Wao this is what I can say and luckily stoppe streching.... All LST has been removed as the plants remain the same so no need to keep them in "chains". Those Original Sensible girls 3 of them (Gelato, Runtz Gum, Do-Si-Dos OG)went crazy, except Black Ghost OG she did not strech much typical little indica lady. And the THC crystals alrady on the leaves on the Runtz Gum and Do-Si-Dos OG just simply beautiful. Buds are coming getting thick they are gorgeous only I can see some some sort of deficiency on Do-Si-Dos OG a bit on some leaves. The fertilization schedula isnthe same every 2nd day and happens with the mix and ratio above. Wedding Gelato is beautiful also I hope the nice purple colour will come out as well in late flowering stage. :) The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

This week I trimmed each plant still struggling with one of my plants still holding off on culling it but the other one is doing well nice green growth so no real complaints yet

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Started Week 7 Noticed 2 or 3 leaves showing some Nutrient burnt But she's all good we already added some plain water and flush a Lil so she's even better, nothing to worry about. We went medium hard on nutes last day Hopefully we will see results in a couple days and preparing her for next meal Any suggestion please let me know Comment down below, thank you for your support have fun and happy growing guys Day 46 Was a great day outdoors, they spent all day out until night came and then we brought them inside for more light Was a cloudy rainy but sun still there Nice weather after all Day 47 Only outdoors from 7 til 2pm Day 48 not so good outdoors but left them until 2.00pm than CFL Day 49 She's looking good, passed all morning outdoors and went back inside around 2pm then CFL for the next day Day 50 Sunny Sunday outdoors very clear good weather we will see if it gets hot or not to bring her inside, buds coming up quickly developing more places where buds will grow, any suggestions or ideas are welcome! Day 51, 52 and 53. Havent gotten the time to take pics or vids lately but check on next week to see the difference between day 50 and day 54 If I can put all those day together I must say she's been good and healthy Performed Lil defoliation on her Also watered them a lil They always take morning sunlight outdoors from 6.30 til it gets really hot or dry then they go back indoors under CFL lights so they continue to grow in a good environment where we can control humidity and temp better. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (Lime/yellowing) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. Vuja de is the reverse—we face something familiar, but we see it with a fresh perspective that enables us to gain new insights into old problems. Confidence is evidence... nothing more. You are confident because you have driven 10,000 times, you are confident because you have spoken 10,000 times. People think confidence is a feeling, but it's not. If you want more confidence, then you need to create evidence, take more shots, collect more data, build more experiences, take more risks; fail, confidence doesn't come first; it is the reward you get for doing the work. no one else wants to do.

Week 5! Starting adding Bio-Bloom and Bio-Grow from now on, she is an Auto so she needs nutrients! Besides that I'm removing Root-Juice (I'm empty and haven't gotten any time to go buy more yet, and don't wanna use my credit card to order on the net, cash is king!).

During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. After 12 weeks of flowering and an incredible fragrance, I cut off the larger top blooms. The smaller ones that were covered will be given another 1-2 weeks to ripen. Incredibly beautiful colors, pink-purple-green colored flowers The larger fan leaves were quickly cut off. The scissors were covered in purple resin. The wet flowers were carefully sorted into the drying net. Now they can be dried in the dark at 19°C and a humidity of 50-55%

Went camping so I couldn't start the week right away. June 16th was the start of week 3...going GREAT so far. I'm definitely leaning towards topping and mainline for these ladies! EDIT: I goofed up, lol. They were born on June 6th. So yesterday, June 20th was the start of week 3. EDIT: the ladies went in their final pot today, june 22nd to a 6.25 gallon pot. They look dinky now, lol. That'll change pretty quick 😎

I ENDED UP GETTING 2 LBS AND ABOUT 2 TO 2.5 OZ PER PLANT........ This grow with the TSW2000, FC4800 and 8x8 Grow Tent has come to an end🤘🤘. I'm so happy with the results mars hydro has done👍.
