Tequila Sunrise - Week 9: ¡Nuggets of Hope Under the Brandenburg Sun! ¡Hola from the land of sunshine, amigos! This week's been a real turn-around for our Tequila Sunrise! Seems like Mother Nature finally got the memo and decided to crank up the heat. All that sunshine has been a welcome change, and our little señorita is definitely basking in its glory. The most exciting part? hose flower buds are starting to look downright delicious! They're getting nice and dense already, packing on trichomes like there's no tomorrow. This is where things get interesting, though. With all this sunshine comes the threat of rain and humidity, which could spell trouble for those tight nugs. We'll have to keep a close eye on things and maybe even improvise a little rain shelter if needed. But hey, that's all part of the adventure, right? Speaking of adventure, the slug war seems to be a distant memory. Those plastic chair thrones are proving to be a fortress of solitude for Tequila Sunrise! No slimy visitors have dared to breach its defenses. Victory is sweet, my friends! However, it wouldn't be a proper telenovela without a little subplot, would it? Looks like a few sneaky weeds decided to join the party in Tequila Sunrise's pot. No worries, though, they'll be evicted faster than you can say "fiesta foul." We can't have any unwanted guests stealing the spotlight from our main star! And the star of the show is definitely looking frosty, amigos! Those buds are getting a beautiful coat of trichomes, sparkling like diamonds in the sun. Leaf tucking is getting nowhere in terms of light for the lower growth. This strain is definitely not for the beginner nor for the lazy grower. Can’t wait for the pink buds though! So you've grown a normal seed? so you've grown and autoflower? well why don't you try the fast streams definitely one of the most interesting and exciting grow experiences I have been a part of up-to-date. One of the most notable traits was the branches being extremely susceptible to bending making it a truly ideal strain for a SCROG. I think one of my main mistakes was leaving the plants in a 3 gallon pot I would suggest that nothing less than a 5 gallon pot should be used and from what I have seen going from jiffy transplanting into a Solo cup then solo cup straight into a 5 gallon pot has worked much better for the clone run I'm doing now. These plants need support!!! That is a must! Especially if you are going to use defoliation at any point you're gonna see a mass of spurt of growth. Now another thing I noticed is that the end right towards your finish window where your trichome are going from clear to Cloudy They tend to mature a little bit faster than a normal photo sensitive Strain. On the feedings I would do at the end 75 to 80% of the recommended maximum nutrient mixture you are using meaning use a little bit less the nutrients for the green crack. Expect A flowering stretch of at least 75%. Other than that I'm extremely impressed with the genetics again that humbled seed organization has created for us cannabis lovers to Excite and motivate us to have something different.

This week continues with nice flowering with strong smell. One plant is light green, I don't know why. I also added on more light to my grow tent.

Flushed once and light defoliation this week as it’s one on the last times to do so before trellis net goes on. Also one of my last applications of organic insecticidal soaps (preventative) and Magnifical applied as a foliar spray. Low stress training for very last time and released by the end of the week. Girls are looking healthy with a few clearly showing sex. New intake fan and exhaust next week for when heating comes on in the house.

Alright, as you guys can see, she has been topped and she has been mainlined... i have a while to keep her in veg due to an auto flower, not being an auto flower, so now I have to wait for that that plants flowering to be done before I can transition this one into flower so I figured I would take my time and get some training on her .. Nutrient tank is top-up with pure RO water + Hypochlorous Acid@5.8PH 05.04.2024 Second harvest day.. Purple Lemonade all three girls, second Tropicana Cookies also is harvested. Lots off hard buds on this girls, frosty, fat, insanely hard buds. Odor in the room is fantastic 😋 Tomorrow on last day off week 9 , Wedding Cheesecake harvest, first Girl No.3 , then day after girl No.2. Third Weeding Cheesecake is wait for a couple off days or full week. This girl is so massive, its a pounder in yield I think!

I topped the 2 last plants and started LST on all of them without any problem. The growth was pretty impressive this week, especially for the Wedding Cheesecake which is clearly bigger then the others. I had to add some supports to compensate the height difference between the plants. I removed some leaflets here and there during the week to give some light to the lower branches without removing too much leaves. I increased the light power to 75%. I will probably give them another week and then switch to the 12h/12h schedule. Plants heights at the end of the week : ------------------------------------------- Gorilla Cookies : 29cm Purple Lemonade : 22.5cm Wedding Cheesecake : 37cm
