Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... The buds smell very tasty and look very good so I'm really excited. The trichomes are 70% milky and 30% amber. As always, it came to the darkroom 48 hours before harvest :-). There it will now remain after harvesting at 62% humidity for 8-12 days before it is put into the jars for fermentation with 62% boveda packs :-). Topped almost everyone. Anaphylaxis are exploding. Super fast vegetative growth. Very impressed so far. The osiris and wedding pie seem to have very short internodal spacing. I am guessing that they don't need as much light as the other strains.

Tag 26: Habe beide Pflanzen runtergebogen am Kopf. Sie geben ordentlich Gas und habe sich in einer Woche Blüte schon enorm gestreckt. Vielleicht baue ich noch ein Netz ein demnächst. Tag 28: Heute habe ich beiden Pflanzen ein Netz eingebaut.

Hola a todos!! Esta semana prácticamente no he fertilizado, ya que luego de un breve lavado note que los valores de ppm aun seguía siendo alto..(1700...1800), entonces segui regando solo con agua, con bajas ppm 500 ppm aprox. Recien ayer logre bajar las ppm , no asi el ph, del drenaje, me viene dando 7.2, pero a pesar de todos estos inconvenientes, a la planta se la ve bien. En esta semana se estiro 20 cms, pero los cogollos aun están flacos y sin resina, pero en características generales esta bien. El lavado lo hice el día 44 con 7 litros de agua con ph 6 y ppm 500, luego de un buen rato de drenaje medi y en ese entonces parecían haberse corregidos, pero al siguiente riego dia 46( lo hice con 2lts de agua) me volvió a dar valores altos. Para no generar un mal ambiente para la planta, la deja descansar 2 días, y ayer (dia48) volvi a regar y al fin las ppm han bajado a 900, el ph aun sigue dando alto, pero como mencione antes la planta demuestra que cualquier inexperto la puede cultivar, porque se aguanta todo ese stress😅😅 . Hey everyone! Quick update on the grow. We're officially in week 3, day 2 of veg, and so far, everything’s looking pretty solid. I’ve noticed a bit of slight nutrient burn starting to show on the edges of the leaves, so I’ll need to monitor that. Nothing too serious yet, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it and adjusting if needed. Today I did a little more defoliation to help open up the canopy, and I also topped both plants to encourage some more lateral growth. After topping, I finished off the training with some LST (low stress training) to spread the canopy out and give the lower shoots a chance to catch up. I’m aiming for an even canopy spread, so this should help with that. I gave them a full watering with 3L of pH’d water at 5.8 and 400ppms going in. However, the runoff came out higher than I wanted again, Looks like next feed will be just plain pH’d water to try and bring those numbers down a bit, similar to my last run Everything’s moving in the right direction, though, so I’m feeling good. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

6/21 Wellllllllll she is still yellowing out like crazy. Very very very hungry girl. Moved the lights down to pull out some purp. I hardly have to defoliate at this point since she is consuming so many of her own leaves. I just carefully pull out the crispy leaves. 6/25 She is still yellowing out and is extremely hungry. Ive been feeding more than the recommended amount and shes still showing deficiencies. If you are growing in coco, i recommend you dont flush this girl. If youre running RO water, definitely dont flush this girl. Shes hungry till finish, no doubt. The trichomes are ridiculous on her. Ridiculous. Ive never seen more frost on a cannabis plant. Ever. She just keeps putting on more and more weight and frost. All of her leaves are sprayed in trichomes. The picture i just uploaded is from today. Although her trichomes are still mostly milky, i think she is nearing the end of her life. I will be uploading more pics tonight and a video to show all the foxtailing she is doing. All of her buds, even the ones down below, have the exact same pyramid-with-crown structure. Beautiful. A+++++ ____PS____ Here she is in all her glory folks. I took a bunch of photos and a video to show her sputnik-crown structure and stacked trichomes. You can see the green girls in preflower in the background for reference of color developement. She is going to be finished very very soon. Man, i cannot wait to harvest and cure this girl.

My longest vegetative growth to date. This may be her last week in veg, I will keep her outdoor for flowering as of next week….my theory is proven with the solar powered light. I love what she has come…the LST worked for even spacing.

Had this gorgeous girl on the flush the past week as she will be getting pulled in a few days , she’s fading beautifully and coming out with some amazing colours. I couldn’t be happier how this green crack had turned out the buds are dense and ridiculously heavy so much so that she’s unable to support herself anymore, I had to rig up some wire to keep the buds from fully folding over , she’s spread herself right out to fill the 4x4 and will be my best yielder ever once she’s out . Thanks to the grow gods for not letting me pull this one as a seedling when she was struggling will no doubt grow this one again .

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent.
