Barneys Farm Cookies Kush Organic soil Grow Diary Update 16th Feb 2020 Well the stretch has definately started and there are visible pistils showing at the nodes so my girls are Flowering!! Yay Both Girls are looking good although plant 1 has distinct red leaf stems that I am not sure about. It could be a deficiency or phenotype trait?? Feeds this week were as follows Day 1 Superthrive using the 1ml/3Litres ratio I made up 10L and gave the plants 5 each. Day 2 Nothing at all Day 3 Water only Day 4 Nothing at all Day 5 Water only Day 6 Seaweed solution and mycorrhizae Day 7 (yesterday) water with a tiny amount of liquid potash Also yesterday I posted a question regarding whether or not I should repot the girls before they grow any further. Well the general consensus was to go ahead and Transplant them so in the cool of the evening I went ahead and moved them both into bigger pots. I used all of the left over super soil from my auto grows earlier this year. Plant 1 got moved into a 75 Litre grow bag and plant 2 went into a 40L standard garden pot. So that means plant 1 is in a container almost 4 times the size of the one it was in whilst plant 2 is now in a pot twice the volume of the original container. I chose plant 1 for the bigger pot simply because the roots were definately starting to become rootbound in the smaller pot. Hopefully the extra room may lead to a better outcome (ie yield) Thanks for checking out my update and also thanks to all who provided input to my question yesterday. Hello the greater community that is GROWDIARIES!!! This week has been well, uplifting should I say! Two weeks ago I was pretty dismal, I had one out if three auto flowers. I had high hope for this grow with RQS being g pretty reputable, but all was going wrong! Then! with a little help from my friends here on GrowDiaries, I was inspired to carry on lol! Now a fortnight later, I'm my opinion, things have turned a corner! I'm seeing flowering behaviour again from these three that were completely stuck in veg! So I'm happy :) Supercropped the big sativa. Just made sense. Only one hasn't been HST, the runt who is actually most progressed of the three. Followed by big sativa. Feeds are pretty unique for each plant so just ask, but the one shown relates to the one in flower. Summary: 1 auto 3 photo periods all under 12/12 for the past 2 weeks. Thanks for taking a nosey!

oh did I add I noticed she showing sex this morning as the sun rises so this morning Feb 18 6:22am I decided to up my nutrients  with the first bottle of nutrients I mixed was on a early veg level so I just add 2ml of each my fox farms advance nutrients along with some algas ( made with seaweed somewhere on the island ) which is a root stimulant and a few drops less than a teaspoon of molasses.  and gave my baby a deep feed hope I dont regret this hope I dont get nut burns .

🔥🔥🔥I think the stretch is over. Did some slight defol nothin major. Widow and dream have grown most in this last week but are still smaller then the rest. Smell picked up too. Can't wait to seed how the buds develope. Wish I had the 2nd trellis up and trimmed em all harder to prepare for the reduced mobility of the trellis...only my 2nd indoor grow so I'm still learning any advice is greatly appreciated😀 I'm bored so I'm a day early with the update. 2nd grow with the mango 1st indoor with the headband and 1st experience either way with the rest. so far its looking healthy and bushy! did some slight bending on branches in order to get more light thru to the bottom budsites. i can’t quite pin down her terpene profile yet, i’m getting pine, citrus and possibly fuel but its not strong

I am feeding with tps one and CalMag oac one time, then it’s back to regular tap water (well water) that comes at 8.5 pH with 156ppm of tds. The feed was approx a pH of 6.5. More importantly is the consistent soil pH which appears fixed at 6.8 I know it’s lazy! However…. I have noticed doing this to reveal to me that the soil pH is very stubborn and not easily changed by the pH of the water alone. Stuff in the water can definitely have an impact. But still, most feed waters I use don’t change the soil ph. I do make sure the pH is within a healthy range for soil, something between 6 and 7 I figure is ideal. I’ve found if there is enough lime in the mix, and as long as I don’t over feed soluble nutes, then the soil pH appears stable and fixed. With enough lime in the mix, I can ultimately arrest the soil pH at 7. It’s really cool. I thought adding too much lime would give me something potentially alkaline, and maybe it will. But I’ve added lots of lime before and still haven’t gotten past 7 pH. Maybe I didn’t add enough to go further? Nevertheless I’m not interested in going past 7. I haven’t seen any issues with the speed of growth watering with 8.5 tap water, surprisingly. As I’ve said the soil pH would read 6.8 before and immediately after watering with the 8.5 tap. So….. I’m thinking the stability of the soil pH is a positive indication that the microbes are not being subjected to pH shifts, or at least nothing substantial. I mean, at the end of the day when things are looking good, I feel like I must have something right.

Day 70 from seed Went on vacation for couple of weeks. Autopot saved me! Did alot of defoliation for it was necessary. Smelling like citrus. She is still stacking/bulking buds. SE 3000 71% 30 CM above canopy 700 PPFD Day 72 from seed These upcoming days is peak blast until step down. Upped PPFD to 750-800. SE3000 on 75% 30 cm above canopy. Gave her some compost tea. Made out of wormcastings, fishmix from biobizz, couple drops of supervit from rqs and cane sugar molasses. Bubbled it for 36 hours.Was about 3 liter. Diluted it with 6 liter water. Ph'd it @ 5.9. Gave her one liter of it. Fed from the top. Also upped nutes in res, now full dose of Canna Aqua flores + Big Bud Powder from Advanced Nutrients. After the 20L in the res is gone i will step down nutes until harvest.
