Algae is an asshole. Thought things were going really well... and then found a bit of algae in the rockwool.... No biggie I figure. Wrong. Left it one night, and today (Sunday) open the jar to find algae in all the roots. Not cool. Well, I needed to swap the nutrients anyway, and was going to do a major bonsai pruning... so why not also wash everything, plant included, in mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Sure, THAT's fun. Made the decision to swap Hydroguard for H2O2 as well, since the water is room temp (21-22 C) and the H2O2 supposedly helps prevent algae.... and keeps away root rot even in higher solution temperatures. Oh, and H2O2 is also seemingly a buffer... making getting the pH right in that small jar strange - needed WAY more pH down than without the hydrogen peroxide. Fingers crossed that the major life disturbances will help manage the algae and not just put the nails in the coffin.

The weather's finally starting to warm up. It feels so good to have the sun out and to open the windows. With all this extra sunshine, my pound cake plant is really taking off! It's growing so fast, and it's starting to look really full and healthy. I can almost see tiny buds on the ends of the branches - maybe it'll even have flowers soon!

Como estáis familia, yo entre humos os comento la última semana de crecimiento de una de las últimas novedades de sweet seeds, red hot cookies, y es que Estoy contento todas las variedades del cultivo, pero está en concreto me tiene ansioso para poder apreciar los resultados finales. Buen crecimiento en general , bien ramificada, se cambio el fotoperiodo a 12 y en breves entramos en la prefloracion. . La humedad anda entre 50% la temperatura está entre 20/22 grados , y como siempre el ph, está en 5,8/6,0. . AgroBeta: 1 ml x L Growth black line , vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Tucán , vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Flash Root , vía radicular. 0,05 ml x L Gold Joker, vía radicular. . Algunas plantas empiezan a tener hojas amrillas, son 3-4, son siempre las de la derecha de la pareja easy2grow, aplico cannaflush 4ml/L 10 litros en depósito, lo beben en 2 dias. El dia 16 cambio el tanque a solución nutritiva.

This week I allowed Ms Tropi so she could peacefully do her stretching I can say with confidence she won’t really be a big one. She smells like a small lemon, orange, and pineapple tree hence the name Tropicana I guess 😏 What I’m mostly impressed with so far is her speed and resilience. With the right conditions and feed schedule she seems to run for flowering which could be ideal if in need of a quick run. 📝 Onto the finishing weeks! On y vas 🏾‍♂️💨
