Because I have iridium and copper in the water, the ph meter fluctuates due to breaking bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen. The fluctuation range I see is between 6.4 and 6.9 so I’m reporting 6.6. So far, I don’t see any negative effects of the iridium & copper on the plant. The soil base is Happy frog, Coast of Maine, Mushroom Compost and super soil. I’m giving only ph water to her for this grow. Day 65, 14th of November 2020: Amazing week.... RQS Wedding Gelato does not strech a lot and pistils coming out nicely.... Original Sensible Seeds has amazing gentics they are so strechy except Black Ghost OG, rest of them crazyyyyyyy..... I also broke two of the sides from Gelato Original Sensible Seeds but fixed with tape and now all good lol 🤣🤣🤣 Pre flowers out and I really hope they stop growing lol. I also noticed that the Original Sensible Seeds strains have nice purple colours of the fan leave's stem. All the same fertilization happens every 2nd day with the mix above and ratio. One more thing: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so they receive 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when they will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week....

First week of flowering and I can see them all growing tall gaining a few cm/per day. First set of pistils are visible on all 4 ladies. I started adding Terra Bloom 2ml/L every other day.

I ran into a few problems with this grow as it was my first indoor organics grow but I know where I messed up so I shouldn’t repeat those mistakes. With that being said the quality of the cannabis is still there and I am excited about starting again using DWC next time. I love Humboldt genetics and I will be growing more of their lineup in the future for sure.

Start blooming

Repotted to 3 gallon with Ocean Forest soil. Added Mykos to the soil. Moved light up as far as it could go and dimmed 30% to attempt to get rid of dropping/clawing. Watered through and drained. Added tomato cages. Added time lapse of when repotted to this morning to test.

A good first week overall. Couldn't be with them all the time so there was a day they got too much humidity. Some of the girls droopped because of this. A couple may not recover. But we'll see. Day8: First day of the new week. I assume still pretty much focusing on roots, as the top didn't really do much today. Day9: Nothing special. But she's growing Day10: Still roots, it seems. Very little happening up top. Day11: Effort being put into growing the top leaves. They increased in size. I assume that the next node will start tomorrow - kicking off the switch into Veg. Day12: Next node already showing :D Day13: I put in a humidifier and changed the cycle of the extractor to keep more moisture in the growbox. My humidity was way too low. Day14: This time the humidity was too high. It was sitting at around 95% when the lights went on.

Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of veg. These girls got topped last week. And this week they have their branches poking up through their fan leaves. I hope to repot these plants this week and put a tomato cage in each pot for training and to tie the big buds up to. That time of year... the mushrooms are coming up everywhere. OK. Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Week 5 of flower 9/6/24 After neglecting to check runoff EC, the reading was 3 and PH 4.7, it's crazy that the plant did not show any signs of damage besides one branch. After flushing the growing medium with RO water + FloraKleen + H2O2 (PH 6.5), the runoff PH was still to high. The problem persisted after watering with 50% dilution nutrient solution and still getting low PH readings and high EC. The solution was to put something underneath the fabric pot, to create a gap for the runoff water to drain freely from the bottom part. Before, the fabric pot was sitting on the plate and the runoff was draining from 2 little holes in the middle to the drain compartment. Right after creating the gap and watering, all the readings were corrected. Fortunately, all salt build up got washed away, and the plant showed no more problems. :) On day 26 days of flower, the nutrient schedule was changed to fit the fifth week of flower. Note to self: check PH and EC every 3 waterings.

8/11 -As the trends been this grow--both plants have responded very well to waterings. Im watering every other day allowing the substrate to dry out a little bit which encourages really good root growth. -I looked back to my previous grow diary to compare this grow to last at week 6 and oh boy am I blowing my old grow out of the water. Learning is a wonderful thing. -Stilts I put Cheese on seem to be working very well. Im starting to see a stretch on Cheese! Going to do some more LST to further even out the canopy. -Cream Cookies is really filling out and its undergrowth is really growing well. It's also starting to develop a strong odor! Awesome! A little bit about the nutrients: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE NUTRIENTS! Not for the pH perfect technology but for how easy it is to feed my babies with these nutrients. I used to use General Hydroponics flour duo (micro and bloom) and that was such a huge pain in the ass to mix solutions. Every week would be a different ratio of both Micro and Bloom. Super confusing and really easy to screw up. This Sensi line from advanced nutrients is insanely easy. You just add an equal amount of both Grow/Bloom A+B in a specific concentration and that's it. All the necessary nutrients that the plant needs will be available for it if it needs it. It also doesn't burn my plants at all. At the beginning of my grow I was thinking of buying an TDS meter to tune the concentration of my nutrient solution. As a chemist, I felt I didn't need this as I can do the math and calculate TDS based on the species present in the concentrated nutrient solution--I never had to do this. Ive found that the best concentration to feed is around 13 mL/gal. Anything more is just too concentrated and my plants did not like it. SUPER HAPPY WITH THIS NUTRIENT LINE. LIFETIME CUSTOMER NOW. 8/14 -Both plants doing extremely well still with no issues. No Ca/Mg deficiency spots observed on any more leaves. -Canopy is getting quite thick once again-going to do defoliation this week. -Both plants are stretching like crazy--probably going to lower Cheese to encourage more of a stretch. -LST worked wonders evening out the canopy. -Cream Cookies is starting to really smell! -Going to sprout 2 more cream cookies plants this week with the hope to keep plants in a flowering rotation. The hope is to always have flowering plants under the lamp! 8/15 -Did some defoliation to create some breaks in both canopies to allow for some light to penetrate to the lower leaves -Original fan leaves started wilting and turning yellow so I trimmed them. -Trimmed lower fan leaves on Cheese: they were so big that they were blocking a huge amount of light to the newer growth. Id rather light hit the new growth than the old growth. -The differences in both plants are starting to show. There is a little satire (~30%) in Cream cookies and you can see it in the fan leaves. They just aren't as fat as cheese. Cheese fan leaves are so short and fat its really cool. Cheese is also growing a little bit shorter than cream cookies. -Makes sense since Cheese is a heavy indica auto flower while cream cookies is a indica dominant hybrid. 8/16 -Boy are both plants stretching. Lamp raised from 15 to 18 inches. -Flowering is in full swing for both plants. -Every other feeding cycle is going very well. Going to increase to 600mL next feeding. Curious to see how they'll respond. 8/17 -My last grow has all sorts of issues so I think its kind of comical that all of my entries this grow are about how nice the grow is going day by day. Really is awesome seeing the things you learn over time come to fruition. -Have three weeks of time lapse video, when you speed it up 8 times you can really see the explosive "stretching." it happens almost so quickly that it looks like the video skipped forward in time. Cant wait to post the final time lapse video at the end of the grow!

4/28 Day 35 I wish this plant was bigger. Could be my fault. Her transition to flower was at such an odd time(3weeks) and that’s when her last feeding was coming to an end but should I give her flower nutes early? Do half an half? Or just wait and then give flower? I waited and I shouldn’t have considering that organic inputs take time to feed your plants. Depending on what you’re using. First time trying Gaia green. I do like the ease of it but it would take some adjustments for me to utilize it best. A month between feeding is too long for my impatient ass and it gives me too long of a commitment to not fuck up. I’m also using roots organics with some other plants and I’m really liking the weekly feedings. It makes more sense than a month. What if I have a strain that’s like 10 week flower? Do I just do another dose at week 7 and 8 and then because it’s “organic you don’t need to flush” thing. Probably over thinking it but yeah here’s my plant yall 😂
