week 3 of the flowering stage of MD XXL 🙌 1 of the 3 is realy not doing good and is yellowing alot, i dont know why this is, i think its heat stress combined with nutrient deficiency but im not 100% sure. I think shes doing better since i went from 3ml/l alga bloom to 4ml/l and adding 1ml/l green sensation to it. Other 2 MD XXLs are doing just fine, 😉 its still very hot where i live, around 30 degrees celcius every day, global warming all the way... i wonder what my harvest amount will be! For the people in the Grow Questions, i dont check PH/TDS simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, I also choose NOT to defoliate since i read alot of different stuff about it. I think i just let nature do its way and only remove those bad fans blocking my beautiful buds 👹

Senescence is really starting to set in, some nice purple hues in the flowers now which are quite hard to show with my camera 📷 These girls are meant to flower for 60-70 days, based on the maturity of the larger lady, maybe they will finish a bit earlier, but this time even if the trichomes get very amber, I’m going to try and push them through for the full 70 days. I will start checking trichomes next week, I don’t want to give myself any excuse to cut them down. I have chopped too early in the past, either because of botrytis or lack of patience. The flowers on the larger plant aren’t quite as full and symmetrical as the other plants, but she has a lot of colas to support and I’m sure the taste and flavours will be great! Migro UVB got installed today, 3 hours per day at ‘noon’ from now until harvest ✂️ P.s the pictures are a little darker this week, because I wasn’t lazy and dimmed the lights down this time 🙃

Start of the week. Flushed both plants using Fox Farm Bush Doctor Sledgehammer. Flipped to 12/12 & turned on the 5 Watt bloom enhancers today. God's Vagina is a little smaller than the clone but that's to be expected seeing as the clone had such a large head start. They're really going to start stretching now! Each week they get hungrier and hungrier! Will be updating daily this week

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

All going well so far, as this is the first run with GTH and a 10 week flwr grow, it seems that they take a few extra week so to show flowers, Flowers are showing now . I have been bending the tops down to allow the nodes to turn up to encourage more individual heads . MY canopy Is full now . I HAVE removed a lot of leaves to let the light penetrate through the canopy. I am happy 😊 I will start giving some mills c4 that I have left , it is a gentle pk, next week I will give them monster bloom as it is a heavy pk, I am just building them up

9/10 Went and shook the plants off. I don't think it rained. I think it's just dew. Plants with ailments seem to be progressing well and it looks like they'll outrun the pathogens. It may not be a banner year yield wise but the quality will be great it looks like. GMO is stacking up real nice. The ones in further flower are swelling more and more everyday. Earwigs MAY be back because I noticed a couple of plants where I left a tiny little branch on the bottom have been lollipopped on tje sherb pie and rather quickly too. I suppose it could be leaves dieing and rotting bit I doubt it. If they are here there aren't many and most plants are too far in flower for them to bother. They eat the lower newly developing shoots. Not big dense buds. Luckily. I noticed some pm on the gmo with pm. Looks like it's time for another treatment of k bicarb. I'll probably do that tonight. I'll keep this updated. WENT BACK OVER AND DEFOLIATED A BUNCH OF STUFF. ITS TIME FOR ANOTHER APP OF K BICARB. I CHECKED THE SHERB PIE AND IT DOESNT NEED TO BE WATERED. IT WAS STILL VERY HEAVY. I'm noticing the same thing that happened a few years back. Lower secondary or tertiary branches are getting stripped on a couple plants. They never touch the developed buds they want the new shoots. If IT IS ear wigs they are impossible to fight. I put poison down and d.e. around those plantscand we'll see. It could also be rot from dying leaves. I need to treatcsome of the plants with a longer flowering time with plant doctor. I'm going over today to spend a few hours working in the garden. I'll apply something I just don't know WHAT yet. One event horizon looks like it tried to reveg AGAIN which is super weird . I just see a lot of one and 3 finger leaves. It will probably turn out to be great. Two are so close to finishing that I need to closely watch them. I don't want botrytis. I applied k bicarb to the middle gmo as I saw a spot of pm. I spent a ton of time defoliating. This cold weather has brought the fade much faster. Trichs are looking good. WENT THROUGH THE PLANTS AND DEFOLIATED A SHIT TON. APPARENTLY THIS EARLY FADE IS NORMAL THIS YEAR. Upon closer inspection it looked like grey mold. A few tiny buds were destroyed but the branch needed to be removed. Jot any big loss but if it's in the shit that doesn't matter than it's around the shit that does. Found info on event horizon flowering time. Middle of September until middle of October. That could be why I'm seeing coke cans on the bottom branches of that phenome. I've got some decisions to make. I mixed up enough water to water in the morning. I'll mix up feed in the morning. Tje garden has gotten a lot of attention lately. I hope it pays off. I'm leaning on a multi staged harvest of the event horizon amd toasted toffy but we'll 9/14 Hurries morning. Mixed water for this morning last night. WATERED AND FED EVERYTHING (BUT TOASTED TOFFY AND EVENT HORIZON #2 DUE TO THEM BEING CHOPPED SOON.) Everything got a gallon of water and a qtr of food. I had to cut a couple small interior secondary branches on my shottiest GMO due to the appearance of grey mold. I also found some botrytis in both the event horizon and toasted toffy that I plan to take the tops of today. I scoped them and I'm planning to do a staged harvest. Trichs are milky with some amber. Everything is blowing up! I'm not sure what's happening but like it previous years there's a couple plants with leaves dieing near bud sites and an overall yellow appearance. Maybe it's late stage septoria. I cant isolate it due to local laws but if I have to I'll deal with it. Nothing else had anything like that. I hace noticed SOMETHING nocturnal that can eat a small branch and leave it bare. Also eat the small newly forming shoots at the bottom of plants. I shouldve taken off ALL the larfy stuff as it draws bugs but I did things a like different with each plant this year. I'm going to go through the plants again today and I'll update what I decide. Chances are the top half of those two plants are coming down. I'll do a video. 9/15 I'll have to add pics and videos tomorrow. Last night I did a final check of the trichs on event horizon #2 and toasted toffy. Everything looked great so I proceeded to do a "wet trim" outside (ill use the leaf blower to clean up) and cut the tops off the plant. I know this injures tje plant but it also makes them go crazy thinking they are dying and the buds and trichs swell. I had one plant last year I got two harvests off and a bunch of fresh frozen for concentrates. I looked this morning and I madecthe right decision. These plants are DONE. I've got another event horizon but it's not quite there yet. I'm going to leave it as long as I can. If the injured plants pick up pm or something (already had septoria) then the flower will be used for extracts or I'll do a Cervantes wash. I imagine concentrates though. One GMO isn't doing as good as the rest. Yesterday I had to cut three branches off due to grey mold on the stalk. If laws allowed it I'd isolate that plant. Luckily since I spend so much time going through the garden I'm able to find this kind of stuff. The GMO'S look wonderful (even the one with some yellow leaves that I cut the branches off) . K bicarb has kept pm at bay so far. This strain has TONS of trichs. It's like trich on trich on trich. I can't wait to try it. It smells amazing. Sherb pie is completely purple with rock hard buds that smell amazing. It's quality over quantity this year. The big one in the 50 (I think red runtz) is swelling more everyday. I'm going to switch to ch ching soon. The plant in the 10 had TOTALLY SUPRISED ME. I've never grown a plant lime this. It started out with dark purple in the middle now buds are swelling and calyxes are EVERYWHERE! This plant is growing extremely fast! You'll see what I mean when I put the pics and the videos up. I'm not going to do the event horizon harvest until I get both plants and all of both plants. It will be a while before I finish the toasted toffy one as well. 9/16 I'm glad I took those plants. Weather is good but plants were soaked thos morning. I need to go out at night and see what is eating new shoots. Flowers are looking great. I need to do another app of k bocarb sometime. I'm suprised the pm has pretty much stayed with that one plant. That two other GMO's flanking it are doing awesome! Purple, sticky stinky. It's got the whole package. The one in the 50 has some huge flowers that won't require much longer. The one invthe 10 has some time left. This is clearly a sativa dominant hybrid. The buds are swelling like crazy. It went from NO buds to having little purple calyxes to flowers that look like cat-tails! I can't wait to see what rhis year brings. Once I get things dry and manicured I'll give you guys a look at how the first stage of the first harvest went. I'm super happy. Spent a large part of this morning shaking plants by handcand removing any dead leaves or anything that could cause rot then I went over them with a leaf blower. I'll need to water tonight I imagine. WATERED AROUND 3:00 PM. MY FAVORITE GMO STARTED DROPPING. WATERED EVERYTHING A GALLON EXCEPT I SPLIT ONE GALLON ON THE PLANTS THAT HAD BEEN CUT. Removed some of the little little shotts/ bud sites.. The buds are not super fat, i hope they will swell up the last 4 weeks, these are more fluffy.. In think this genetic prdouces more smaller bud, but much of them.

I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.

This girl is moving along. Thinking she will start to ripen up in the next couple weeks. I switched my photos to 12/12 today so she will be getting the same light. Watering her twice a day about a cup each time. The aroma still bursts like fresh lemons. Excited to taste this girl and even more excited to run one of these on a proper grow in a dutch bucket next round.

week 8 in the books lemon is still swelling up but has slowed kinda thinking just packing on some weight now im hoping . Trichs are starting to get cloudy but alot still clear so going to wait until i see mostly cloudy and few amber and start a week or 2 flush on her depending on what her leaves are showing me . smells delish and stickyyyy . amnesia on the other hand is either just taking her sweet time to flower i beleive it say 9 week max to flower which im there or she reverted to a photo or something . If she still hasnt flowered by the time i harvest def gonna switch lights for a lil while and see if that can trigger her . Thats all for this week .

I found out that I have to go out of town when I had planned on harvesting. So I did it a few days early. This plant has been a blast to grow. I was a little worried at first because she just wouldn't put on any inches. The plant only reached about 12 inches in 2 months. However, after the that she grew like crazy. It could have been due to my inexperience. I guess we will have to see on the next grow. I still have 5 more seeds of this plant. She flowered in about 9 weeks. Big fat dense colas. The next time around I need to pay better attention to the little scrubby side shoots. There were a lot of them. I ended up with about 60 grams of larf because of it. I should have done a better job of defoliating before flower and I should have kept her colas clear of the dense foliage. Having said that, she turned out a ton of bud! Wet weight count: Clone 1 - 179g Clone 2 - 163g Mother - 586g Total - 994g I will come back next week and update this with some more pictures and final dry weight.000

Day 7: The small royal jack auto has been removed; no growth has emerged in the past 48 hours, so I intend to germinate a new seed for the tent today. The remaining plants appear robust and are developing rapidly. For now, I am supplying only water and will repeat this mid-week; next week I will add a trace of nitrogen, some micronutrients, and a drop of Supervit. Lights are positioned 35 cm above the canopy.
