UPDATE - Saturday 13th March This week has been ok but I need to take it easy on the nutes! Especially with the soil one. Ooohhhhh 😵why did I use soil. It’s really annoying because it’s at weedy little seedling stage and iv obviously over fed it. I added some worm castings to the one on the right in the hempy bucket though , along with ecothrive biosys They should break down fairly quickly given how packed with microbes and micorhyzae to buffer the ph of my hempy buckets to where I need them to be. I don’t even bother with my ph pen now. I’m glad I didn’t spend £69 on one but it would be good to get a decent one at some point. It’s not top of the list though. Grow space number three is looming and this time I actually have the equipment. Only problem is I don’t want to use my old converted wardrobe. It’s too small and pretty pointless. If I’m going to have a tent in my studio flat space where I have to hear the fans or rather the varispeeds hum. I’m very tempted to take the big grow tent out of that room and then paint the walls bright white and just vent the room. Instead of the tent. The ductings already there. Then I could move the bigger tent somewhere else in the flat. The thing is - I started growing to provide me with my medicine,however, I’m in prohibition-land. So far I haven’t had the space to be able to get a monster harvest. My last one was the best so far I think it was 2.5oz between three plants. I have decided to turn it into an auto tent (shout out to fast buds for sponsoring me) They are just so easy. At first I was worried because i thought the lights were on longer but they finish so god dam quick from seed to smoking. I’m f surly sure curing autos must take longer than growing them. That fastberry is coming along nice but It’s such a non bushy plant. Like lanky but in a good way. A lanky green stem with these random bright purple buds on the tops. This is the first grow I’m going to use a proper magnification device when I need to check trichomes. I think iv been harvesting too early. Well actually just last time because I was scared the police were coming. LOONG story. Anyway, I’m looking forward to being able to see those thrich’s get cloudier and cloudier. Will make some nice source photographs for my art also. I nabbed these awesome plant holder uppers that just poke into the soil in the pot and they are round and have sections to put cola’s through. They look really perfect for auto’s final bushy look once trained.

Monday 16/06/2025, start of week 5. The stretch is underway and has been for a few days, happy with how she looks health-wise currently although I've made some mistakes along the way that she has had to recover from. i made one final tuck under the net on day 29 (17/06/2025) although it's not a proper scrog by any stretch of the imagination, it's helped keep the canopy level so the side branching could catch up, and I'm letting her go now, hoping she stretches a good 20-30cm but we will see. Day 30, fed at 1.2ec, was probably 12 hours late on the watering as she did not look happy at all, bounced straight back though once fed. Day 31, not much to report, a lighter shade on the newest growth but to be expected at this stage, I've pinched a few of the lower fan leaves over the last few days. Day 32 backed the lights off slightly as the leaves were looking a little light stressed. Day 34, fed with calmag and water only at 0.4 ec, forgot to ph it down but hopefully it won't matter too much in soil, she's had a good stretch over the last day or 2. 22/06/2025, end of week 5, happy with the progress this week, pinched a few more leaves today and reorganised the canopy a bit, had a bit of a heatwave over the last few days so had to increase the humidity to compensate, this also helped with the temps although she did have to deal with temps around 28c for quite a few hours and up to 29c for a very short time, didn't seem to have any ill effects though, temps now settled back around 26c. Looking forward to seeing some bud development in the upcoming week.

calyxes are swelling. pistils are starting to ripen curling inwards and turning orange. Trichome production is getting higher. I committed a mortal sin and squeezed a bud with my hands. It was pretty dense. I was pruning a few fan leaves on the main cola that were blocking a lot of light and accidentally cut a bud off. I dried it and concluded that I lost about a gram 🙁 The nug was pretty dense for being only 5 1/2 weeks at the time.I hope they are rock hard when ready. There are some of the most unique terpenes I've ever smelled. They smell like sweetened condensed milk with a sour earthy smell with a hint of skunk. My cat loves cannabis leaves....

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Mental rainbow f1 has been developing well the bid site are bulking up noticeably whilst just started seeing the production of thrichomes on the main bud sites while at the smaller side branches are not that far behind the main ones

Whats up GD !!! ------------- GROWTH------------- Topped both plants, the bigger one, it is 3 days younger than the other, and seems to have faster development, more vigorous.. I think the reasons could be the pheno or the level of root development, i ll explain it : C#1 was in a yogurth as seen on photos and having all the sun. C#2 was in a wider recipient, lower in height, and in a room with poor light. I watered both plants at the same time, C#2 got curvy leaves when watered, i think maybe she likes near dry soil, or cant handle that level of humidity in the roots ... in my opinion she has less developed roots and the pot hadnt enought holes to let the air come in, the oposite of C#1, that seems to handle better humidity and is eating all she can, getting fluorescent green below sunlight. Both plants have same feeding and soil composition. ------------- IRRIGATION------------- Watered both ladies, around 0.2-0.3l each one with Deeper Underground. ------------- NUTRIENTS------------- Tall cheese C#1 : Deeper underground 1ml/l Short cheese C#2 : Deeper underground 1ml/l + Micro Vita (it only had Canna Pro soil ) --------------------------------------- Good vibes !! _12/04/2018_

Another good week they are all coming along nicely they have a bit more room now I can get the door closed the new fan set up seems to work better and is quieter using plastic drainage pipe instead of the foil ducting was hard trying to get hold of some 8 inch pipe back to the plants well having 8 down still, sizes vary fro 50cm to 137cm they’re a few that seem to be a week or 2 behind the rest in the size of the budz but they have plenty of time to catch up. 1. LABS - I suggest using distilled water for the entire process ( no chlorine or chloramine). I also suggest the type of rice product shown ( 1/2 cup), it has red, brown, white, and black rice blended together. You get the benefits of each type. 2. Take the rice that was used in making the rice rinse for labs and boil it in 3 cups of water for 30 mins. Strain the rice out. Add 1 TBSP molasses per 300 mls. Use 300 mls of the above mixture during your watering cycles. It contains starches, b vitamins, aminos, trace minerals, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, and some nitrogen. The ppm’s are not higher than 200 ( if using distilled water). This is ONLY used if your plants are healthy. If your plants are sick…this will NOT help them. It will make stuff worse!!! The Hulk-Berry got a new home. 1 tsp 7-3-1, 1/2 tsp 0-12-0, 1/2 tsp Langbeinite, 1 TBSP 2-2-2, 3 TBSP 4-3-3, worm castings, recharge (1/32 tsp) into the soil ( Mother Earth). The 3 RuntZ are coming back from slow growth at the outset. I added LABS, Lentil SST, Photosynthesis Plus to the media. I did a foliar spray with recharge. 24-36 hours later the leaves exploded with growth and height. I added ZERO nutrients!!! I only used natural inputs and bacteria to get the root zone back in order. 11-3. Things are all in check! The LABS, SST’s and Rice wash have gotten the 3 RuntZ back on track. The Hulkberry is in full swing. I think I can get to 3 feet by flower time with the Hulkberry 11-5 All is well today!!! Everyone is very happy after the cal-mag, Photosynthesis Plus, kelp bath
