Day 29 (2020-06-07): Changed out reservoir (5.6 PH). Picked up some 3% H2O2 so added 3ml/gallon to help combat some of the growth I am getting. Also wiped down the outside of the fabric pots to kill the mold. Did some new LST and defoliation to even things out. CBD Crack is in pre-flower. The G14 might be a bit behind. Day 30 (2020-06-08): Reservoir PH around 5.65. Removed a leaf or two and did some tucking. Day 31 (2020-06-09): PH at 5.8. The G14 Blumat drip tube had gotten stuck in the dirt and was not dripping. Hand watered back to normal. Some slight LST adjustments to even things out and removed a few leaves. Day 32 (2020-06-10): PH at 5.96. Yellow leaf tips on newer growth haven't really gotten any better. I am also noticing some other yellow and brown spotting on older leaves. I am not as worried about the spotting since it is likely related to previous PH fluctuation that has been taken care of but I am now wondering if the yellow tips are something new. Maybe the start of nutrient burn? I do not believe it is light related since I adjusted this a few days ago. Day 33 (2020-06-11): After some helpful advice from the community I checked the calibration of my PH pen and found it off by about .5! This must have happened sometime in the last week or two but would explain the issues since as a result my PH was adjusted way to low (around 4.9 to 5). FIxed pen, flushed plants and changed out the reservoir. Hopefully things will get back on track. Also took the opportunity while I had the plants out to even out the LST and do some more defoliation. Day 34 (2020-06-12): Things are looking OK. I am not sure if the yellow on the tips will go away but it is not getting worse. Reservoir PH is at 5.75. Day 35 (2020-06-13): Res PH at 6.1 but slight smell. Probably will have to change out tomorrow. Things are looking good for the plants. G14 is definitely behind on flowering compared to the CBD.

This week, the little one experienced her first proper rainy day; safely sheltered in her greenhouse, of course, but she still had to deal with the humidity and lack of light, which doesn’t seem to have been a problem: she gained the expected 8 cm, and the pistils are developing nicely. She has now clearly entered flowering. On the other hand, I was a little too generous with the nutrients, and the upper leaves have started taking on a claw-like shape. I’m used to growing in coco, where I feed every time; here, I’d forgotten I was using a heavier substrate. I’m immediately cutting back to feeding every other watering. I’ll also reduce the doses slightly for a few days. I’m not worried. she’ll bounce back. 😉

No problems throughout the entire grow, a very easy plant, literally automatic. It produced a lot of resin and smelled delicious, very good. Low production due to the small 3L pot, cold, and only 12 hours of light. But the quality is outstanding.

In week 6, began fuller buds and the odor is much higher, I would recommend this genetically preferred carbon filter.Also the plant produces very nice resin and grows very fast (average autoflower 2 times faster)

So... It's that time again, I was planning on keeping her going for another 11 days but the trichomes are telling me differently, they are around 10% amber, with 70% cloudy and 20% clear. Personally, I like slightly speedy highs, and not such a fan of couch lock. So, she will be chopped in 4 days time (D121 - F74). I have cut back the nutrients, water is around 500ppm now, leaves on the top of the canopy are yellowing. The pistols have turned a pinky brown, and there is a real difference in smell these past few days, proper heavy dank smell. I will be swapping out the water for a final flush on D118 - F71. She will be in the dark for for the last 48 hours and temps will stay at 16ºc. She will be wet trimmed, a cola at a time, and then hung in my grow room in the dark at 55% RH and approx 14 - 16ºc. I will post one last flowering week once she is hung up in 6 days time or so, and then will post harvest details once she's dry enough to go into jars. Happy growing all!

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. July 19: Hi guys and girls, that past has been an interesting week. I have already collected a Cream Cookies and a Zkittlez from the 420 FastBuds and can report the first report in the C.C.C. The other plants grow strong and others are almost ready to be harvested. For example, the Zkittlez that has completed its flowering under the LED lamp is already receiving only water like a second cream Cookies. I must say that comparing the plants grown and flowered under the HPS lamp and the LED lamp I don't find many differences, both plants have produced very dense and resinous buds. As you can also read in my journal C.C.C. both the Cream Cookies and the Zkittlez become part of my favorite varieties 😉 In the pictures you can see how the LSD-25 is a real purple variety. At his side is the Purple Glam Kush from BulkSeeds, which has nothing in purple except the name, but which is producing a considerable amount of buds with the latter plant. Back on the LSD-25 I have to admit that it is really beautiful and the photos don't do it justice. In the future I will make better ones. The Lemon AK and the Six Shooter have grown considerably in height and for this reason I have practiced the FIM with other smaller plants. July 24: This week I tried for the first time to make a resin extract using the BHO system, although instead of Butane I used Dimetyl Ether, a gas made for this kind of extractions made by Daxso. For many years I have used waste to make good hashish using the ice-olator method (water ice and sieves) and recently I also bought a bubbler machine because I am lazy 😆 In recent months, however, I have seen many videos on Youtube of people who made high quality resins with the BHO system and I decided to try. I purchased and used a 50 cm extractor, but I've already bought another one smaller than 30 cm that I want to fill with just buds. I made my first excerpt and could follow the steps in the video I uploaded. Unfortunately to smoke I will have to wait until next week when my new Focus V Card V2 arrives, but as soon as I get there I will keep you updated 😋
