Nachdem die Permanent Marker den Umzug in das neue Substrat hervorragend verkraftet hat, stand nun das erste LST an. Die Zweige wurden mithilfe von Softties flach und gleichmäßig heruntergebunden, um das Kronendach perfekt zu öffnen und die Lichtausbeute zu maximieren. Die Traphouse Genetics reagiert extrem gut auf das Training: Das Blattwerk gewinnt dank der neuen Nährstoffe sichtlich an Kraft, färbt sich wieder satter grün und legt eine wunderbar ausbalancierte, buschige Form an den Tag.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 8 is it?? Looks like GC is on week 4 still 🤣. Day 49- big defol on GC tonight, mild prune on the right side also. Few strategic plucks on WG to help share the light evenly. My fingers are sticky asf and STINK like lemon/lime and gas. Changed RES yesterday, modified week 3 GHE bloom medium feed. Breakdown as follows: 5 gal tap/RO 20mL calmag Micro - 26.5mL Grow - 26.5mL Bloom - 41mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1148 @ 5.63 ====================================================================================================================== Day 50- where to start.... fuck.. well, i was wondering if my TDS was accurate or not. never checked it against another meter until today... and lets just say its been OFF the whole damn time!! i tested it against two other meters. one cheapo from amazon, and one from a zero water pitcher. TDS reading from each in order from current>amazon>zerowater.. 930, 642, 616. checked online and they are all on the 500 scale. so i dialed the "current" meter back to 616 to match the brand new zero water meter. never really trusted the cheapo amazon one TBH.. went ahead and topped off with 1.5L and gave them a 1/1/2 mL shot of M/G/B to boost the RES numbers a bit. currently sitting at 662 @ 5.84. so i guess GHE calculations havent been anywhere near the ballpark like i thought. maybe they were using the same damn meter i have currently, set EXACTLY as far off as mine was from factory 🤣. IDKWTF happened there, but its a good thing i started light and worked up following their signs. even though the meter was off, it was still giving me information that was useable. should have left it where it was, but my OCD would haunt me until it was adjusted. plucked a few on WG tonight and left my fingers sticky and stinky. GC keeps stretching, refusing to hit full flower still.. Sorry Herbies, i know you all exaggerate the finish times... but come on now lol... theres no way this one would finish in the time they state online.. FastBuds Wedding Glue on the other hand... she may be short, but shes STOCKY. she'll just get fatter too. who knew i liked fat chicks?? ====================================================================================================================== Day 51- few plucks here and there on WG. have to be careful now because these leaves are what's going to last the next few weeks. Can't take too many, can't leave it closed up. Since I won't be able to flush, i may do a multi harvest on WG and give GC a lil more time to hurry TF up and do her thing. I hate waisting... anticipation is building for the end. Not only to see these girls come to a finish.. but to set up the new system "correctly". Using things learned in this experiment. ====================================================================================================================== Day 53- not much to report other than the typical random strategic plucks on WG and more abuse to GC. been adding a booster to the RES every other top off. Ends up being once a day. One top off calmag'd water, one calmag'd water with a 0/1/2mL (M/G/B) per L added. Gave em a .5mL bump of M today since I've only been boosting it with G & B for the last 2 days. *edit* my dumbass forgot to set timelapse interval from 3sec to 45sec and the vid is 1.8gb long.. going to just skip today's footage. ====================================================================================================================== Day 55- GC is trying to catch up from the looks of it. It's like 3 weeks behind schedule 🤣🤣. Was going to defol the shit out of it again, but may leave it for another day or two. Once it takes WG's sun, it's getting snipped again. Forgot to mention more GC abuse from yesterday, or the day before. Didnt take a pic so I'm leaving it up to my memory. kinda accidently, purposely, tripped and precisely stabbed the main with some pointy tweezers... about half way in, and may have accidently twisted a bit before and while pulling it out... oops.. what's a lil more stress on GC right?? Maybe I'll have to trip every so many days and see if it has a positive effect 🤣. After going back and forth about the harvest, I decided to give her another week. It feels like the right balance between playing it safe and giving the plant the chance to fully express herself. The flowers keep maturing, the trichomes continue to develop and the terpene profile becomes more intense. The buds are getting heavy enough that several branches are now resting on the net for support. Without it, they would probably start collapsing under their own weight. The finish line is close now. Time to stay patient and let nature do the rest.

Cookies and Cream auto is looking good. She had a slight leaf deformity when she got solution on her roots too soon. It was a pinch strong for her. She has already grown into it, and roots are looking good. I was experimenting with putting the rock wool on one side to get the roots to the solution sooner. Hello growers day 43 in the garden she’s getting big she’s starting to so buds but no purple colour I assumed the buds would be purple from the get go but I assumed wrong🤔 hopefully they start turning soon until next week be safe and grow happy✌️🏻

Veg Week 5 Day 35 to 41 - 3/25 to 3/31 This week is primarily test training recovery. Seeing each recent topping was at the 3 node point I topped again. Follow up of the cola breaks was nice for all but 1, The worst break (the one with tape over it) actually recovered very well, I see no future issues from that branch other than monitor for weight tears. The next worse break on the other plant wasnt so fortunate. While it started out okay, it also kept ripping under its own weight as it grew topping wasnt only beneficial, it was the only thing that allowed this branch to survive past the day (lesson here is to make sure all breaks are back supported early while they recover at least) I think this branch may need to be supported for the entire grow, and the amount of recovery time is possibly past the point of which I would want to see in a normal grow since it may not produce nearly as well as the other colas. The lighter break on each plant look to have taken advantage of the damage and produces giant knuckles of cured hardwood at the breaks. This is exactly the kind of recovery I want to see since all future water ways will pass these points and the branch will still be strong enough to support future weight of giant flowers. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 300ppm total before add-ins. I used 300ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and NO Bloom concentrate mix (just showing the recipe in week 5- I am adding it in week 6). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.0 Next week I plan to top cut the branches again and change out the feeds with 350ppm at 6.0ph

It's hot as hell right now, so she's back to drinking every 24 hours. Just fed her with FOOP for the last time (Friday). Will only give her water for the rest of her grow time. She's looking almost fully cooked. Will likely check her trichs on Sunday and start to consider a timeline for chopping. No pest issues at all. Smell is absolutely divine.

Day 77 - Was her last day. To be truthful she wasn't 100% ready going on the trichomes but needs must and the other photoperiod girls need their space now. It's crazy how my own personal ability has changed over the years. Blackberry is a strain I've grown every 12 months roughly, GrowDiaries is a fab place to track your learning. Looking back through my old grows I must have been mad to think they were ready to harvest! Way too early! Maybe that's the biggest thing I've learned - patience. Don't be too eager to chop, there is a lot to be gained extending by 2 or 3 weeks... Anyway, back to this girl. She has been chopped and trimmed. Have a look thru the pics, if you see a piece of black tape on the stem the apex bud on that branch was BACKBUILT. I have to say the technique REALLY does work. Those buds look fatter and denser than the others that have been left natural. It seems effective to be done about halfway through flowering, but no later than 3/4 of the way. FINAL UPDATE: So after 2 weeks in the drying net she weighed out to 87.81g. Not a great deal but she was compromised by the photoperiod plants she shared the tent with. It wasn't the full purple phenotype like I had twice before but still she looks pretty.
