I’m driving myself crazy trying to figure out what to do. I’ve been on the web, sent an email for help and scoured social media. I hate feeling like I’m harming my girls. I just got one plant doing a little better. Now the other has joined in. Gelato is a rock star.

Week 4/10 - 11/10 The plant dried up very nicely and no more eggs. She was moved back to her grow place and my gf topped her on Monday. Due to the excessive nitrogen she is getting only additives 6/10 she got only additives today. 7/10 steady growth is happy growth.. 9, 10 she was fed amazing growth 11/11 closing the week with a video of the progress. Another werk looking good all flowing strong now although the fastbuds purple lemonade & gorilla cookies look the most dence, frosty & smelly & the purple already ate anazing fast buds really do smash it 🔥👌also treated them to a flush of slf100 , ino light schedule not ideal but they had a good couple weeks on 24 n we got some more banging flavours I am thinking of doing a full auto run sometime soonish thanks for dropping in

With the new netting up, I switched on the red lights along with the blues to help the plants stretch a bit to reach through the screen. It looks like it is taking effect, so late in the week (Friday) I trimmed some of the lower branches. Last week I FIMmed Zoe and Grace to give River a chance to catch up, and I expected 1 of 2 results: 1) FiMming will encourage growth in the cut plants causing them to grow taler than River, or 2) Things will stabilize and River will be on par with her siblings. But instead, I discovered a 3rd result: River is continuing to grow bigger and thicker each day and is even taller and fuller than her sisters. In addition though, the trimmed plants are developing nice, strong, sizable leaves, and most of the new growth is coming from down below, rather than near the top. Oh, and this week I added a new camera (Wyze) to the time lapses so I can take my pro camera out.

03/13/2022 Love the colors on Grape Skunk #1 others are not as purple, again i forgot Biscotti Skunk and lemon og. 03/14/2022 Uploading Biscotti Skunk pic's I'm really loving 3 particular girls this run,all plants are exposed to PW intentionally I need girls that can take PW with no issues and three plants are spotless. The first is the only Biscotti Skunk that was female of 5 cloning for outside run but will do great in basement without PW issues. The second is lemon og spotless, and the third is the grape skunk thats got most color the second tallest of the grape skunks, cloning for testing in New England zone 7 should get at least one if not all 3 to finish before cold sets in.

12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Another great week for this girl! Gave her a bit of defoliation to get some additional light to the lower nodes. A little LST to get the outer branches some light. I thought I might be chopping today but she wants another week to fill out. See last pics and feel free to comment on the trichomes.

Checked on the girls a little early this week. It is roughly week Runtz layer cake- she is absolutely stunning. The flowers are starting to stack and she is a frosty little bitch. She’s definitely hungry the top dressing feeding I did last week didn’t really do anything she still fading I will have to do another liquid seed this week. Rucu cucu og- she starting to get a Sent but I didn’t notice any more flower production kind of looks the same as last week. She too is looking hungry. Gorilla zkittles- flowers are starting to stack leaves look good sent is starting to come on

Start of week 6 day 1 Stopped the floranova bloom feeding And switched to ripen @600ppm The ripen feed takes 10days In 10 days we are at week 7 day 3,then i flush for 3 days and we are at week 8 ready for harvest. There is so much frost and the smell u wouldnt believe it ohh myy God ! Im sooo happy i took 4 clones of her. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. Summing up, I can say that sativa is really not mine.The next diary will be related to breeding, I will test and gain experience in this matter.Further more, success is inevitable.

Starting to get some nice purple colours on #4 buds and Ozz leaves! Not super visible on the video but looking really good. Also had an unpleasant surprise the other morning, due to wind gusts the support went out the pot and #4 straight bent to 90 degrees. Looks like it happened around 3/4am and I only saw it around 9am, so she got pretty roughened up but no actual damage to report. Same for Dorel, a brush fell on a lower branch but didn’t break anything. The learning here as it is the second time it happens, both time just before I water them: I suspect drier medium is less efficient in holding the plant when there is a lot of wind. Well well! In just 2 days she went from little purple to actually the whole plant changing color. Curious to see where it’ll go!
