Posting Tuesday instead of Saturday because I'm heading out of town for the rest of the week. Luckily have some good help with watering but I'm going to feed them before I take off tomorrow. Bottle cap/gallon of veg nutrients for the photoperiods and same amount of bloom nutrients for the auto flowers. Still no signs of males and THINK there are female preflowers on two of the photos. The tallest plant is still worrying me. Wouldn't be surprised if that's male but the others are looking good so far. The gangly one in the pink pot and the only one I didn't top (germinated Ina beer can) are the ones that look like they are showing female preflowers. Using bamboo sticks and gardening tape to support some branches but also using the additional support to spread some of the branches. The light green one (germinated in a beer can as well) is the bushiest out of all them and seems to be liking the ScrOG. Will add more bamboo to the top of the tomato cages like the other plants in the next week or so. Autos are in the beginning of week 8 and about their third week of flowering. They've only been outdoors and started them April 6th so is there a possibility they could take longer than 12 weeks? This is my first auto grow so curious to see my yield. Been light on the nutrients since I'm a novice grower and afraid of frying them.

This thing just doesn't stop growing so, I'm experimenting, fired in a scrog net and I'm gonna veg it out to fill a 1.5x1.5 net, 1 plant... Should be fun if it actually is a female lol... . . More pics will be uploaded shortly as I'm just back from a holiday. The journey continues..... Plants starting to fill the scrog in nicely, I'm hoping and praying that this remains a female and doesn't hermie as it was originally purchased an auto how ever, I sexed some cutting which sprouted white hairs rather than mini sacks or nanas so, I'm remaining positive as the smell from this plant is insane, the resins coming through the stocks are sticky and have a lovely aroma also. . . Approaching the end of the week and the Gorilla is filling the net nicely 👌.. Fingers crossed now that it turns out a Fem! Pray for me lol...

🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 7 from Seed Flower Week 3 | 12/12 from Seed Welcome back everyone — and welcome to anyone just joining the journey 👋 This is our Lemon Cherry Gelato update, currently Week 7 from seed, which we’re considering Flower Week 3 in our 12/12-from-seed room. There’s a lot to talk about this week, so let’s start by bringing everyone up to speed. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run is part of a larger 8×8 mixed-genetics environment, where multiple cultivars share the same room, light strategy, and environment. The approach from day one has been: • low stress • observational • plant-led decisions • learning in real time No chasing perfection — just paying attention. The Lemon Cherry Gelato plants have been vigorous and very bushy since early on, with strong branching and dense foliage that required intervention as flower development began to accelerate. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week we performed a fairly deep defoliation, similar to what was done on a few other girls in the room. Why? • The plants were extremely bushy • Light penetration was becoming limited • Airflow needed improvement • Bud sites were stacking fast We removed a significant amount of inner and overlapping foliage to: • allow photons to pass through the canopy • improve airflow • help the plant focus energy where it matters It may look aggressive in photos, but it was done intentionally and carefully. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Structure & Phenotypes You’ll notice two slightly different expressions in the photos: • First photos → Lemon Cherry Gelato • Second one → what we’re calling the “other” Cherry Gelato Both plants: • very bushy • beautifully structured • incredibly lush green One plant showed some funky leaf expressions, but nothing concerning — genetics being genetics. Both were defoliated deeply, but not excessively — just enough to give them room to breathe. They are not alone in the room, and in a shared environment, balance matters. ⸻ 🔥 Minor Observations • A few burned leaves from under-canopy lighting • Nothing serious • Easily managed • Already addressed You’ll spot them in some of the mini photos. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding — Why We Changed Nothing This week, nothing was changed on purpose. Current parameters: • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are too high for flower — but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Response The plants are telling us clearly that they’re happy: • deep, lush green foliage • no visible stress • strong internodal structure • uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. That’s why the feeding stayed exactly the same this week. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and Not Expect) Next Week What we expect: • visible bud stacking • calyx development accelerating • stretch slowing down • energy shifting fully into flower production What we don’t expect: • major environmental changes • aggressive interventions • unnecessary corrections Next week is about watching, listening, and letting the plants work. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words To our humble eyes, this garden is looking outstanding — but we’re always open to: • criticism • suggestions • questions • different perspectives Lovers, haters, followers, OGs, newcomers — everyone is welcome here. This is a shared space, and interaction is how we all grow. Big thanks to: • the GrowDiaries platform • the sponsors • and everyone who takes the time to read, comment, and exchange energy If you have thoughts, ideas, or see something we could improve — please drop it below 👇 Let’s keep learning together 🌱💚 📡 Please stay tuned they can try and take us down but we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@DOGDOGTHEDOCTOR NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. The plants have grown very fast this week, easily doubling in size. I moved them closer to the light to 90 cm from 110cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I have fed the plants twice this week. First with a half dosage humic + fulvic acids, microbial inoculant and Seagro. The second feeding was half dose Seagrow and Biobizz BioGrow with some CalMag and Silicon. I am preparing a compost tea with some added kelp meal, insect frass and worm castings for the next feeding before I start LST.

Start of week 4 of flower! Off to a troubling start, as the light switched on over 1 hour ealiere than scheduled. I took a spare timer, and set it up to continue it's 12/12 schedule, but now moved one hour back. I cross my fingers they forgive me for this error.🙏 👽👉31/10 The day after watering and the day my timer messed up my 12/12 schedule. But hope it brings no problems. I defoliated lightly and only removed most under the SCROG line. Even a couple of underdevoloped branches that stretched below SCROG-net got cut. 👽👉 1/11 Been having a battle with humidity after watering, but upped my air circulation to help. 👽👉 2/11 Waterday* Upped my nutes on BioHeaven, BioGrow and BioBloom. 👽👉 3/11 They seem to be responding good to the upped nutrients. 👽👉 4/11 Humidity under control. 👽👉 5/11 The VPD on point, has really speed up the trichome production. 👽👉 6/11 Waterday* Stayed on the same schedule, as last watering. They seem very satisfied and no signs of mistreatment.

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/2- Here we go into the fifth week for the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower from FastBuds. Our weather is finally beginning to warm up and you can start to see it in the GG4 Sherbet FF as she is beginning to 'wake up'. 5/4- I have yet to see any insects either on top of, or underneath her leaves to determine what's causing the perforations on her leaves. I went ahead and sprayed her down with Neem oil and I'll keep an eye out to try and determine what the culprit is. 5/6- Rain showers today handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound. 5/8- I'm not seeing much in the way of any new damage to the leaves of the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF. I will continue with the Neem oil preventative, along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of sherbet! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

Mulberry Day 35 All is well. In stretch and transition to flower. She is a proud 28 inches tall. I tied her four bottom branches down to open her up some and get better airflow and light penetration. As an experiment I have only been removing the newly formed branches at her nodes and leaving the fan leaves alone. Seems to have an effect on branches being healthier! *** watered her last night with 1 tbsp each of coco bloom A&B. ***Day 38*** All is good with Miss Mulberry. Stretch is in full swing, she is now over 34 inches tall and growing strong. Flower development has begun to pick up as well. ***Day 40*** Merry Christmas!!! Miss Mulberry reached 36 inches today! I

The one that survived was only inside a 2 litre, unfortunately, so didn't produce no where near as bud as I would've liked to. It's definitely not stable from 2/3 hermies, no issues with the other strains I had going alongside these.

Day 69: Watered each plant with 1.5L with nuts 1379 ppm, 2951us/cm, 2.9 EC (1 purple punch, wedding Cheesecake) 1391 ppm, 2959 us/cm, 2.9 EC (gorilla cookies) 1L 319 ppm, 678 us/cm 0.6 EC (3 strawberry banana and 2 purple punch) (2L each) 3 different feedings for the 10 plants Still flushing all the strawberry banana and 2 purple punch with flawless finisher, 2ml per L. (1st week flawless finisher, 2L each, 2nd week clear water, 150L each pH tap water) Day 71: I've been struggling with the humidity, always around 70%, I can't turn the lights off at the moment. I lost one of the main fans during 2 days, and I found mold on all the tops on one purple punch and on the smaller strawberry banana as well. First timing having this issue! High humidity plus not enough air circulation equals this. Mistakes happen for a reason. Need to start rethinking my whole air circulation, exaustor, fans, etc etc. I removed the infected buds, I used a magnified glass to help me do the job better. I did everything like the book. Already have 3 fans on the tent, let's see how it goes. Humidity between 65-75% Day 73: Watered each plant with 1.5L with nuts 1458 ppm, 3101us/cm, 3.1 EC (2 wedding Cheesecake and 1 gorilla cookies) 283 ppm, 602 us/cm 0.6 EC (3 strawberry banana, 3 purple punch and 1 wedding Cheesecake) (2L each) 2 different feedings for the 10 plants Still flushing, 1st week flawless finisher, 2L each, 2nd week clear water, 150L each pH tap water) Everything running smooth, they are starting to show the colors from the flush I've been doing. Day 75: Watered each plant with 1.5L with nuts 290 ppm, 617 us/cm 0.6 EC (3 strawberry banana, 3 purple punch and 3 wedding Cheesecake) (2L each) Day 77: Watered each plant with 1.5L with nuts 1811 ppm, 3810 us/cm, 3.8 EC (gorilla cookies) 253 ppm, 538 us/cm 0.5 EC (3 strawberry banana, 3 purple punch and 3 wedding Cheesecake) (2L each) Still flushing... Going to cut some of them this week.

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.
