Week 10-12 This week the Purple Queen really going to the moon. Northern lights is growing buds and smells beautiful. Change water every week. Had problem with ppm in the water, it's was higher the day after even if I put fresh water in. Did read it can develop salt around roots soni flush it and now is dropping 100 ppm a day at least. Still a bit worried about not enough space between buds and wondering if they going to grow alot taler.

Week 2 - Transplanting Transplanting is the second part of securing a solid foundation for the roots, by using the rock wool cubes I am providing to root ball with a headquarters. I use root excelurator in my feeding and soaking the Rockwool cube so you can expect a very healthy root system and by having a healthy root system you have bigger trees, thicker stems & bigger buds.

Just got back from vacation, and I'm very pleased to see that the plants are doing well! Was gone Saturday to Thursday, and had a friend check on them once to adjust the pH but other than that they've been on autopilot. The Autopots are amazing for this - I got 2 kits with 2 pots each (instead of 1 kit with 4 pots) which gave me an extra reservoir in anticipation of this vacation. I connected the tubes from both of them with tees, and it worked exactly as I hoped. There's still a few days left of water in the reservoirs, so I think I could theoretically go a full week if needed (though the pH does drift a bit). Switched my feeding approach from guess-and-check EC measurements to doing mass/gallon which has made mixing nutrients a lot more consistent. The current feed contains 5.5g/gal of Megacrop, 1.5g/gal of calmag, and 1g/gal of bud explosion (PK). This works out to be an EC of ~3.1 including my tap water. They've been at this strength for a few weeks and are due for a little bit more, but I didn't want to mess with nutrients before leaving since I'll want to monitor them. The smell is getting pretty strong, with a very sweet scent (almost like berries) when I open the tent. The buds are starting to get some weight as well. Interestingly the two plants that veg'd a little bit slower seem to be budding the strongest. The plant that had explosive growth during veg has a ton of tops, but the buds are smaller. But overall they're all looking pretty good. No signs of issues as far as I can tell, tons of trichomes on the buds and sugar leaves. Expecting ~10 weeks of flower, so they're about half way done. Hopefully they'll keep packing on some weight!

1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. The girls had a accidental temperature drop to 15.3 degrees... was my fault. For the all the rest it's all going 👌

I feel sorry for my plans this 2 weeks I haven't been able to look after them properly I've been working long shift with Christmas approaching there's no time for anything so I was pushing in a lot of nutrients into them and I caused a nutrients lockout .I have flush them out with just clean water at the right pH 6.5 and they are responding very well from now on I will continue to Baby them so they gave the best result possible within the circumstances of the plants. Boy with the temperatures being so good in my basement I had a tough few weeks with this girl . She still faired better then her friend gelato41 , I had ph issues and temps fluctuating , and the lack of time as my kids and wife have been sick with the flu for a week and I'm full time Midnight's ...dam never thought growing could be such a challenge sometimes both physically and mentally... Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Day 21 She took a little longer adjusting to the auto-pots bottom feeding but shes starting to come along. Turned the auto-pots + air-domes on to get water and oxygen directly to the roots 3 days ago. Feeding Cropsalt at 5.8ph, really enjoying it atm just look at their colour😍
