We run out of strong enough sunlight before it gets too cold in October and the earlier the finish the better. July 28: watered with Monster Maxx last night and with molasses this morning. Still misting leaves to counter low humidity during daytime. Watering a bit more than a litre several times a day as needed. July 29: looking pretty dark green today and growing strong. Fairly hot again at 27 C so extra watering and grow bag spraying again. I’ll try to stick to water here for a bit to make sure she’s steady and not being over fertilized. I’m thinking she’s doing really well and this could be quite a big yielding plant. We’ll see. Aug 1: about 28-29C today so pretty hot again. Bright strong sun all day and they were a bit wilted when I got home in late afternoon. Quick watering and misting with hose water on leaves got her back looking happy in no time. Probably 7-8 L per day when hot which might seem low but the bacteria from the compost tea work to retain water and you don’t need to water so much.

What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Gonna chop some of this on Saturday against everyone's best advice. Apologies, but I've just got to see for myself what happens. Some credible looking videos on YouTube say I will lose potency in striving for a larger yield. This grow should produce enough to carry me until the tent is ready for harvest. Nothing but bad weather ahead. Humidity is up in the 90s at night. Rains came in a day early and caught me flatfooted. Will wait and see if my first-timer's luck holds. Got a break and had an afternoon of sunshine. The boxes dried out and I re-taped the joints. No light leakage. 7 days of rain ahead. During defoliation I accidentally cut a couple of buds. Set 'em in the sun to dry (which they didn't really do). Put 'em in the bowl and took a hit. OMG ... cerebral ... just what I was hoping for!! If I can get this harvest in I'm gonna do the Happy Dance.

Top dressed at the end of week 3. I think I'm going to push these plants to 9 weeks. So I'm top dressing again and 3 weeks. Everything is going as smooth as butter right now..

The plants hung in the grow tent with the exhaust fan running low for 10 days with an RH between 45-50%. 80 grams at trim from 3 Blueberry Autos. For a first time grower, I tried to let the plants do their own thing mostly, aside from some lite defoliation and tucking. In doing this I see ways I can improve. After curing for 10 days, first sample was not disappointing. (I intend to cure it at least 1-2 months.) Sweet berry aroma when chopping up the bud. Smooth burn with white ash. Can get a hint of berry flavor in the smoke however it also is not ready yet. But I can almost predict the possible flavors after curing. I believe a strain like Blueberry benefits from longer cures of a few months or more. I will attempt to give it as long as possible. Overall impressed with the grow and look forward to the final smoke. Ready to apply what I've learned and improve on my next grow.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Plant fading and changing colour nicely. Day 77 Trichomes are still milky or clear. Waiting for the first signs of amber Trichomes, at which point I plan to harvest. Day 77 might be the plants last watering depending on the Trichomes in the next few days.

Oh I forget to tell You, as You can see in the Video the water drops 💦 on the surfaces of their leafs @ day 23 I used Boom Boom Spray too for preparing the next stage of powerful photosynthesis by raising up my SanLights @ 300 µmol/m² s. Second video was @ day 26. I raised up a little natural CO2 from 450 ppm to 550 ppm. So they were prepared for more powerful photosynthesis coming up the next days… Critical Orange Punch and Amnesia Zkittlez showed some typical nutritional sensitivities some phenotypes of Sativa dominated strains can show @ the way to powering up the system. Light tops on the head of the leaf area. But again: “Don’t panic, it’s organic.” Also @ day 26 I started with my preferred technique of LST by mainly just pull down a little, the biggest fan leafs, so the little Life-hungry drives were able to came through and got enough homogeneous ppfd for uniform growth rate too.
