Looks awesome in her 4th week since we changed the light cycle to 12-12 she's developing a big fat main cola which I think it's gonna be reeal fat in a couple of weeks, the smell of this strain it's not very strong yet however she has a really nice piney smell, let's see how this jack orange keeps developing her buds, I hope she gets to produce a lot of strong terps, not very strong smell at the moment. Day 22: Honestly didn't think I would have made it this far. The girls are looking great minus a couple of issues. I have over watered them and over fed too! Not to mention trying to LST too early. I will wait a bit longer before watering this time. Day 23: MORNING - They were super dry. I have been over watering a bit so I watered maybe 1/2 gallon for all 6. I also did some more LST and took 1 large fan leaf off of each plant. I will update again before lights out. Day 23: NIGHT - The girls are responding very well to the LST. I don't think they are liking the 80°. I am starting to have issues with lower humidity again. I need to try and figure some sort of ducting out or possibly even get a small AC unit for the grow room. Day 24: MORNING - I removed a couple more leaves that were covering potential bud sites. I have also done a partial main-line on the smallest girl. It looks to be already showing pistols. I've had to open the tent with a big fan blowing directly in with the humidifier behind it. The girls were getting hot and dry. Day 24: NIGHT - Well 5 are showing to be female. The biggest plant is showing no signs of sex. I am guessing it will be the mystery seed. I will be doing no more LST to these ladies for at least a week or better. I think I have stressed them out enough the past 2 days. Day 25: These girls are very resilient!! I tortured them all weekend and the one I nopped off to do a sort of mainline grew by 20% at least. Day 26: It is the official 3 week mark today and the girls are starting to flower. I tied em down to get light to all bud sights. I will 100% not touch them unless they need it from this point!!!! They are soo small and I need not stunt them any more!! I have removed the Mystery Seed as it looks to be a male and I do not want to take the chance!! Also fed and watered today. Only 200 ppm for the feed. Day 27: Nothing new to report. These girls are gonna be tiny :| I must've stressed em too much too soon :( Looking good though I think! 💪 Day 28: I never do what I say. Dumb! Broke main stem on one of the best plants. Taking it as a lessons learned. It's been two hours and she looks SICK! Oh well.

Since this diary started in the middle of Week 4 of flower, many of the details about how we got to that point have remained a mystery. In previous updates I mentioned how my last attempt at growing this cut resulted in a plant that outgrew my space. I had a long veg time and used a 5 gallon pot. That information allowed me to exercise caution on this grow because I knew how big this plant can get when given an opportunity. With that in mind, I only gave her 9 days after transplant from the aerocloner before moving her to the flower tent. My pervious experience dictated that this plant exhibits significant lateral branching. I top most of my plants to encourage this kind of growth, but due to the short veg time and for the sake of experimentation, I decided to not top her this time. You can see that this has resulted in a large main stem cola, but also (thanks to knowing her growth pattern) several rather large secondary colas as well. As an aside, some may look at this and wonder "yeah, but what about the yield?" I have never weighed a harvest. I grow for myself only, therefore yield is not something I concern myself with. I just don't care. I fill one quart mason jar and the rest is given away or turned into hash. My scheduling is such that I harvest approximately one plant a month; therefore I have enough smoke to last a VERY long time. While this plant will probably go 12+ weeks, with only 9 days of veg, it’s still comparable to a 10 week variety that would require a longer veg time to produce a similar yield. And, frankly, I have close to a dozen cultivars in my ‘consumable’ collection and this is the only one I reach for prior to 9 pm. She has a very clear and motivational high. Not overpowering, but I never test her ceiling, so she could get one blasted if necessary. This would also be a great plant for someone having trouble eating, because my appetite is essentially limitless when I’m smoking this. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that I have put on a few lbs since I’ve had her in my collection?

17 Jan - 23 Jan 19 Jan Kush del Arriero: Looking good in color and size, planning to flush next week, hope those possible nanners don't develop enough, not removing due to harvest time being so close and this one being the one that will probably give me the best yield. Some buds and leaves getting purple colors. Choco Cookie: Still very small, hope they grow a little more before harvest. Some buds and leaves getting purple colors. Banana Cake: Small buds, decent trichomes. I hope that KDA won't cause much trouble to the other two plants, I hope I'm wrong about the nanners... Keeping my plans, finish with nutrients this Sunday and flushing for 7-14 days after that. I'll add a few more pics later today. Sat 22 Yesterday a friend with more experience in these things took a look at my plants, he seemed impressed by what I've accomplished on my first grow so far. He also confirmed that the weird things on the KDA buds aren't nanners... phew ! He also confirmed my plans for flushing tomorrow are good.

The end came surprisingly fast in the end - I had to move quick. I had to improvise a drying solution, since I only have a small grow room and not much space, since Fat Monkey Auto still takes some time to mature. A little grow chamber made of foam board, with a PC fan added for some air flow. Can't wait to trim her and let her cure before entering the next phase.

Day 99. Girls are good, even delayed/unmature buds are catching up and i feel like last feed was given already. Should be only water regime from now ... Nothing to add or say.. Fatter, Bigger, Stronger - is theirs target now and slowly they are crawling there ;))))) My cam is still shit, during thirps it made me happy, now when some girls are true beauties - it makes me nervous ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Ran into some problems with this one but it turned out pretty decent, it already smells fire i can't wait to smoke it, i'll keep you guys posted when i get a taste!

This is the third monday. The girls still look healthy, I gave blooming nutrients for the first time as the schedule suggested. The Attack of Gnats: Inside the tent there is a huge fan, which was unstable, if I tilted it too much, so I put a 20litre soil bag (with some cheap shitty soil for decorative flowers) at the base of it to make it solid. As the tent started to warm up, the soil was warm ask well. After a couple of days some gnats mysteriously appeared in the tent. First there were only two, but now there is a whole army. I bought a "special" trap for them, it came in a pear shaped plastic dispenser with some sort of "killer liquid" that will eliminate the enemy. As soon as I opened the little container with the liquid my first idea was to smell it. Surprisingly the smell was familiar, and I smelled it before in salads. I asked my girlfriend, and she immediately told me, that this killer liquid is nothing more than Apple Cider Vinegar. I searched google, and I found out, that you can make very effective gnat trap at home by using apple cider vinegar, sugar, and dish soap... This costs you almost nothing, because you can find everything at home. Learning every day.... :) Now there are only a few more gnats left, but I will kill them in the following days. 🙏 Namaste
