My favorite method to germinate seeds is the 'SERIOUS' method promoted by Serious Seeds. I have almost always a 100% success rate with. Check out the video above for the process. If you hang up the seeds inside a wet paper towel inside a plastic bag, the roots will grow out STRAIGHT instead of being curled when they lay on a plate. Make sure the tip of the seed (=pointy end) is facing downwards inside the bag, so they can open up and grow straight down towards the floor. This makes its easier to transplant the germinated seeds into soil. When you plant the seed make sure the top of the seedshell still peaks out of the soil..this make an easier start for your seedling. They will grow right out of the soil the next day.

With IZI, everything is very easy. Automatic watering and conditions are close to ideal. The only thing missing for complete control is a CO2 generator with a sensor. I'm thinking of transplanting it to a 7-10 liter coco plant in a week or two and switching it to a 12/12 cycle.

Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). So they all look good 👍 I was thinking i was getting to mush nitrogen in the plants thats in flower so I lowered the nutrients in today's feed for all of them that mite have been a mistake to play around with the nutrients I think from now on im just going to keep doing what im doing and thats full nutrients every two days they are takeing an extra litre of water now so 2 litres each every two days and im not getting mush run off at all they could take 3 litres if I wanted to but they seem very happy at the minute whit two buds are starting to get bigger I have added 2ml per liter of notorious bloom that looks to be doing a good job the ones thats not in flower are getting very big I think they are going to turn out very nice when they hit flower stage the small one is also growing fast now whit the full nutrients I gave it few days ago

2024-07-28 2 Opium Plants remain in my Outdoor Garden. One sits in a 75l container, and stands near the house the other Plant sits into 30 l container , in a corner in my Garden Die Outdoor Girls are starting to flower, still in stretchmode the Plant in the 75l container looks super impressive the 30l girl gas a good spot to go on lets see. for any reason the system dont let me do another updates, so iam forced to do all updates at once in one week 2024-08-16 The Plants are stretching and building sweet flowers Temperatures became perfect, with lots of Sun and warm weather. 2024-08-23 The Weather continues to stay very warm and sunny, the Girls drink up to 10 liters daily, and they get some feedings with organic more PK, because they need the Energy 2024-08-30 Both Girls doing fine, the Plant in the 75l Growbag, is very thirsty and develops sweet Floweringsites. the Girl in the 30l pot, has grown into the open Ground. she was sticking her roots out of the holes from the growpot i was wondering why she looks so fresh and green without getting nutrients, now i know why, she is sucking all good stuff out of open ground clever, clever. 2024-09-07 In the meantime we had some heavy rain and Wind, i had to stabilize both Plants the Girl in the 30 l Container was stretching so massively , she was growing one meter!! in short time but she was blown the most, i had to tie her and she is leaning onto a bigger treee i kinda forgot to save her from winds. but anyway, shes safe and goes on The Girl in the 75l is safe for the moment she shows already massive buds, next week i have to take pictures from above her 2024-09-13 Weather truned for summerly and hot, to autumn and raniy and cold so i have to watch her closely, and hope for more warm / dry days, for her to finish up. It weather continues to stay rainy- and she starts to mold, we will harvest instantly.

@ the beginning of week 8: As usual, I alternate Biotab's fermented compost tea in the generative phase, alternating weekly with Bio PK Booster and regular Cannazymes to clean up the gears of my ladies again and again... 😁

Week 5 for my plant so far it might be 4 more week to go, i have cut down a little bit of nitrogen The bud get nicer and got more trichomes but it seem not harden up by now. I have 5 large branches as in the video and 5 other small branches, how many gram dry will i get anyone have a guess i'm excited the last picture is the bud i cut down because the downside of it has greymold, i dry it for 5 day and cure for 6 day seem pretty nice, enter your thought :) If there anything i would do in this stay to maximize the crop, need suggestion

this auto seems to be chugging right along. Growing nicely. I am not going to do anything to it and we will see what happens. The other auto GC has already gone into flower kinda early. so will need to put another seed of this variety down.

June 8th There's little doubt that the light is too close, and has been too close for too long. There's nothing I could do about it two weeks ago, and there's nothing I'll be able to do before harvest either. Lesson learned. The main cola doesn't seem stressed as in burned or bleached, but it's definitely looking a little odd. It's huge, and has no orange pistils, whereas the buds below are a mix of the older orange pistils and newly grown ones. Weird. There's also a lot of foxtailing going on, which i'm guessing is a direct cause of being far too close to the light. Temps, pH, humidity, and watering are all dialed in, so that's my best guess. Even though only the top of the plant is light-stressed, the foxtailing seems to spread throughout. Is this a thing? I'm thinking next time I'll do the same, a single plant in the large pot, but I'll top her once or twice to lessen her height avoid this issue altogether. One huge cola is impressive, but the way things have shaken out has robbed some of the lower flowers of a more optimal distance to the light, so everything is out of balance. We're top heavy, folks :):) All is well, fingers crossed as always.

July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome. Starting force flowering this evening. Will put plant in dark garage for 12 h darkness for a couple of weeks to initiate flowering. Already started flowering, but I really want to force it along to improve bud quality by having the buds ripen under stronger sun. In dark garage by 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then out at 7 am. The far red light is a bloom booster because it initiates dark mode 2 h faster and is like getting a 26 h day. So, 10 h in garage plus 2 h from far red light is 12 h darkness and 14 h of daylight. Rock on. July 21: obvious stretch from overnight in the hot garage. Recorded as 14 h daylight with overnight temp listed as 24 C but it was easily 30 C when going into garage. Hot and smoky. Anyway, lots of misting and watering and seems to be doing great. Addded bloom nutes in top dressing at end of last week. July 22: still too hot but she’s still managing to grow. Now up to 40”. July 25: now 44” so four inches in three days. July 26: notably large stretch overnight probably grew another inch. This Blueberry Pie was always neck and neck with my other photoperiod, but she is pulling ahead in height now that flowering is starting. So far so good. Windy today and the plant was catching too much. Defoliated fan leaves in the middle so it’s not so much of a sail. Don’t really want o be removing fan leaves, but was best option. In ground or a bigger bag are not options so gotta make it work. Worth it to be able to move around in pursuit of direct sun. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 6 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance in the past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had no issues with stuck seed casings, which I find is the main downside of germinating in rapid rooters. I am excited about this one! May 16 day 3: Auto watering drip emitters are set up, and I am testing them to dial in the amount of runoff it produces. I also planted the seedlings/rapid rooters into 1 litre grow bags and began feeding nutrients. They are still under the humidity dome for now for the time being and seem to be doing well. Day 4: seedlings doing well, they are staying under the dome untill they grow their next set of leaves, then I will take them out and run a humidifier.
