Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. So the increase in feed is going well and the plants are drinking more and more. I measured the heights of them and adjusted the lights as one of them was not level. might have been that way since last adjustment, I kept hearing some poping noises coming from the tent so could have been that as well. #1 33cm #2 28cm #3 27cm #4 18cm #5 38cm #6 43cm #4 is much shorter then the rest of its peers, but we will see how it goes long term. As I though some slight yellowing on leaf tips but nothing crazy, PH going in at 6.2 coming out at 6.49 not bad, matching the trend in EC difference. EC going in at 1.4 coming out aorund 1.0 So might want more food but more frequently vs more at one time. I could try and get into a new watering routine but I really don't want to. Something easy maybe to mix up a jug that I just give them between normal watering that has light feed in it and will not get runoff with it. The runoff to prevent salt buildup can come from the main watering. Also found a weird looking something growing on plant #3 medium. Took some photos of it. Looks alien. going to let it grow, that plant is doing fine.

Day 22 - The plant looks really good today and there is more space on internodes so will start LST on this soon. Day 23 - She looking magnificent and thick. Day 24 - Watered the plant today with nutrients and i tried to control the PH and i don't think it worked. The plant had a bit of LST she has grown well and is looking ready for it.Also we done some seriouse decore change today so the whole place looks like a bud box we got the other plants from my diaries featuring in a the video. Day 25 - Must say the plant is a strong and very bushy is very hard to work with it. Will defoliate her in the next few days. Growing just perfectly to not give me headache. Day 26 -Was to busy running around didnt take a pic its a shame but its okay. Day 27 - The baby looks beautiful she is growing well. She will need to be defoliated soon she is very bushy and has allot of shade leaves. I watered her today with nutrients. I raised the light but i also raised the plant as well so its sitting at around 30cm - 45cm. Day 28 - This beauty of a plant has not yet given me any headaches she just grows by her self in her own time. Looks allot thicker and wider.

This week I just flushed the plant. I think I could have feed nutes the first day of this week, but I decided to flush from the first day, something to improve next time. I think I should have given the last flush one day before harvest instead of 2 days after, I felt that the coco was a bit too dry and the steam was not as moist as the previous harvest, this would have been great if I was doing 14 days dry, but I'm doing a 30 day dry, so this extra moisture would be great. The last 4 days the lights were turned off, as a consequence, the humidity went up the last 4 days, around 56-58%, I don't think I will do this next time. The total flower period was 72 days, according to Barney's farm it would take 60-65 days, I feel that those values are very accurate, my personal circumstances made me take a bit longer, but I barely saw any amber trichomes at harvest day. Entering the Flower Stage Our P.C.R.s have officially entered the flowering stage, and the transformation is already visible. The stretch has begun, and you can see the plants reaching up, preparing to produce those beautiful buds we’re all waiting for. This stage is all about supporting their growth and ensuring they have everything they need to thrive. NutriSpray Magic This week, we’ve been diligently spraying Aptus Holland NutriSpray, and the results are phenomenal. NutriSpray is like a spa treatment for our plants, providing essential micronutrients directly to the leaves. It helps with nutrient uptake, reduces stress, and boosts overall plant health. Our P.C.R.s are absolutely loving it, standing tall and proud with their leaves praying to the light. "Hi, I received my pH meter this week, so from week 6 onwards, I'm aiming for a pH value of 6.0 - 6.5. This week, I noticed that the plant in the small pot received too much fertilizer. The other two 7.5-liter fabric pots also received double the recommended amount according to the feeding schedule, but they don't show any signs of over-fertilization."

Well started flush on out door cheese well greenhouse indoor only just preflowering off site so less pics like the gorilla frisan duck so yeah more pics this week peace ended up chopping cheese 2 as bud rot struck so got rid and got 11.3 grams wet from 1 so quite low yield mould resistances not the best not the most crystals I have seen nor the least it's a 2 out of 10 so far yeah staying at 2 as was fun to grow but yeil was disgraceful 1.6 g dried she had the cheese smell and taste but little vegy so going to cure the remainder try in 2 weeks utterly as for the rest can't wait frisan duck has like 70+branches so she's going to be a nice harvest no pre flower yet peace

Such a graceful girl... she is developing her flowers with such finesse! I defoliated a little every few days so I didn’t cause any stalls in the growth and shows to have worked! I really feel i am showing I know what I’m doing with feminized plants! It’s a great feeling to actually be so relaxed during too!

Die PPOG entwickelt in der 4 Woche wirklich heftig Resin. Sie sieht wirklich frosty aus, gefällt mir !☺️ Mir ist nun aufgefallen, dass die unteren Blätter alle die Spitzen nach unten neigen. Man nennt das auch ‚Adlerkrallen‘ und ist auf einen Stickstoff Überschuss zurückzuführen. Habe durch die Verfärbung der Blätter auf einen Mangel geschlossen, war vielleicht nicht die beste Idee mehr Bio Grow zuzuführen😂 Werde im laufe der 5 Woche keinen Bio Grow mehr verwenden und beobachten wie sich das entwickelt. She continues to look like she has a nitrogen problem.I'm stumped. pehaps its just fading.. or too much nutes ot needs a bit of flushing. will switxh to a less flores more boost and freah water to see how it goes. i still think my ph was a bit high.. not sure if ive seen any diff from feeding at 6.2 with some cal mag early in the week..
