So now is the 16th day. This week the weather was rather bad!! Alfa boost has gone all out and couped a little too much N. but she is still young and will cope with it... in my opinion a bit behind but the weather should finally get better and become more consistent. the rain has now quite saturated the soil so that I had to cover the pot with foil to avoid overwatering. I ask for sun and a little dung... roots in the small pot had arrived at the bottom, are OK not lush but healthy and bemyzelt... hope she accelerates the next few days otherwise the bucket was a bit too big. will see.

Thinking a week more growing, my microscope is too powerful i think pain to use saw a couple ambers but i think most are still cloudy if not see through. Should i lay off nutes this week or?

Hello everybody! Here we are a week later and I’m starting to see some nice improvements and developments. This week I fed all plants pretty heavily with Recharge and Dolomite Lime (and a little Cal Mag). The plants seemed to like it, the color is really coming back to a nice shade of green instead of the pale yellow’ish green. The FastBuds Blackberry is a beautiful shade of purple. I’m going back to my normal nutrient routine for one more week then I'll flush for a week before cutting her down. The 2 Blackberry's I cut down last week were kind of scrawny, but I did smoke one of the main cola buds and it was tastier than I expected, very fruity. It also got me HIGH AF!! I'm looking forward to how this last one finishes up. One negative is I seem to have inherited some bugs from my wife. She asked me to put one of her outdoor plants in the room so it would survive the winter, well it looks like that plant was infested with bugs. The little f’ers had a feast on some of the leaves. My wife gave me the OK to toss the plant, so with the plant removed it should be fairly easy to irradiate any remaining bugs with some sticky paper. I’d like to say thank you to all who answered my question regarding recommend reading on cannabis. I’m selecting the answer for the Grow Bible by Greg Green because I was actually unaware of that one. I’m familiar with the Cervantes and Rosenthal versions but not Greg Greens. I’ll be ordering that book after I receive and finish “True Living Organics” by The Rev (should be here tomorrow). This week I have a new question for my GD friends…. CO2? I have not been using CO2 but EVERY book I read recommends using it, I’m not prepared to go out and buy a CO2 tank, regulator, etc… at this time. Has anyone ever used one of those CO2 bags? Or do you have any DIY CO2 solutions you can recommend? I’m looking forward to your answers on CO2. I’ll leave you this week with another interesting excerpt from “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear: “I prefer to use high-pressure sodium lamps. With the exception of LED's, HPS lamps are the most efficient source of light you can buy, both in terms of light output and light spectrum. Having read nearly every book on the subject of growing pot, I feel that their authors tend to overemphasize the importance of light spectrum. You do not need to alternate between metal halides (for growth) and sodiums (for flowering). That is an oversimplification of the plant's light requirements. You may do this if you like--it certainly won't hurt--but I firmly believe that the gains are just not great enough to justify the cost of the extra MH lamp.” -Read Spear

Easy enough to grow. Though out of 3 beans only 2 popped. So that sucks. A pleasure to grow. Mine didn’t seem to get too big tho. I kind of regret removing so many nodes.

She’s looking good, still growing her buds more frosty and dense. She smells citrusy and piney so far. She’s continuing to fatten and frost.

Here we are into the beginning of true flowering! Stacking has begun, flower development is coming along beautifully, both plants are loving the 900PPFD & 2.0EC feed without signs of stress. Co2 is being implemented this week & leaf tucking will continue. The Bride Cake has surprised me with its stretch during this last week or 2, Growing nearly an inch every other day. No real serious trichome development yet so only a faint smell when first opening the tent. Both plants are drinking quite a lot which I’m very happy to see.

Major morphological changes being observed still. Stretch & bud thickening occurring. Sept 18 - looking good. Hairy hairy buds! Sept 19 - all watered with nutes 2ml/L all. 1.5L each. Sept 20 - looking great, sticky colas when handling, smelling noticeably when opening the tent now & Lina’s hairs starting to brown off. Subtle purple colours are popping on some cola’s - notably BM & TB. Scrog’d them. Need to find out how to make it square and less bowed in..I’m guessing poles or bungee cord? 21 Sept - doing well. 22 Sept - all watered, 2L each w/ bud burst @ 3ml/L and in total 1/2 cup of molasses for 10L. 23 - all good 24 - looking great!

Week 10 for Wockesha she is finally at her end. All phenos look beautiful with different tones of purple through out the bud. All the Pheno had dense buds. Some phenos had better frost factor and some had better weight factor. Will do a whole plant hang dry for 2-3 weeks and then to a jar cure!

Week 9 - Week 9 And Plants Are Looking Fine - Plants are healthy and they have a very nice structure of branches. Looking forward to seeing the bud development.

Transplanted into final 5 gal. fabric pits. with LOTS of good root growth. Bottom half of pots are homebrew super soil, with the top half being mix of HPCC promix and worm castings. More to come!

What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. This plant is gonna be a beast. She is up to the desired 32 tops so it’s just maintenance here on out. I am thinking about moving her into her bigger pot but I might wait another two weeks perhaps 🤷. The final pot will probably be a 20 gallon pot filled with my custom super soil and I might add a couple spikes at transplant. I haven’t had to feed any teas so my super soil has been keeping her happy which is nice. I have done a little top dressing but only a couple tbsp of Gaia Green all purpose and a couple tbsp of Kelp meal. That’s been enough to keep her super happy. 😎🍿🍻
