🌿 Mango Kush — Harvest Report (Week 7 Flower → Harvest) Grow Diaries — From Seed to Soul After months of nurturing, tuning, and watching the Mango Kush sisters evolve, today we finally harvest. What began as two seeds—two phenos with two destinies—has become a garden symphony of light, resin, and patience. Genetic Journey — From Seed to Harvest Pheno #1: Started in veg before flipping; taller, more expressive stretch; structured and vigorous. Pheno #2: Ran 12/12 from seed—shorter cycle, smaller frame, but incredibly dense. Different paths, same destination. Despite the variation, both finished side by side, their trichomes shimmering like frost under the lens. From the very first true leaves to the last amber sparkle, this grow embodied the full spectrum of plant life. Both phenos shared that unmistakable Mango Kush sweetness—fruit-forward, creamy, with earthy Kush undertones that deepen as they cure. 🔬 Trichomes — The Living Resin We harvested with trichomes at about 75 % cloudy, a few ambers scattered, and a few clears clinging on. Why this timing? Cloudy trichomes → peak THC, most psychoactive potency. Amber trichomes → oxidized cannabinoids, deeper body stone, slightly less heady. Clear trichomes → undeveloped, lighter high, harsher burn. By cutting at ~75 % cloudy, we captured the perfect balance between energy and depth—a clean, full-spectrum effect with robust THC, trace CBD, and terpenes locked in their prime. Inside each trichome lives a micro-world of medicine: Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG)—psychoactive and therapeutic agents. Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene)—aroma, flavor, entourage synergy. Flavonoids & esters—color, nuance, antioxidant value. It’s chemistry turned art—and when viewed through the macro lens, pure alien beauty. 🌸 The Harvest — Dense, Loud, and Sticky Both plants produced compact, heavy colas. Pheno #1: 162 g of dry, aromatic medicine. Pheno #2: 129 g—smaller, but louder in terps. Together: 291 g total of crystal-coated Mango Kush bliss. The smell? Explosive. Sweet mango and creamy Kush so strong that, without carbon filters, the neighborhood would know. 😂 And those buds—dense like stone, sparkling like snow. Trimming gloves glued with resin. Even the scissors felt high. 🌬️ Dry & Cure — The 60/60 Philosophy We dried the full plants slowly: 60 °F (15.5 °C) and 60 % RH for 14 days. Why 60/60? Because slow drying preserves volatile terpenes and ensures chlorophyll breakdown. Quick drying bakes the aroma; slow drying matures it. The science is simple: lower temperature = less terpene loss, stable humidity = even drying. After the dry, we hand-trimmed every flower using a trim-bin, collecting a rich layer of kief—a golden powder of pure cannabinoids and terpenes. 🔥 Old-School Touch — Hash & Extracts The kief was gently pressed using only hot water, glass, and hand pressure— we also did some old-school charas way. No machinery, no shortcuts. Just heat, touch, and patience. From this we crafted a small hash bar—soft, aromatic, pure. We also explored extractions with BHO/Rosin, carefully purging over three weeks until perfectly stable. Both concentrates now rest in the fridge—preserved at low temperature, rich in flavor and medicinal potential. 💨 Smoke Report — Smooth, Sweet, and Deep The first taste is soft and silky. Mango sweetness rolls in, followed by that earthy Kush finish. Inhale: Fruity and fresh. Exhale: Creamy, grounding, slightly spicy. Effect: Uplifting at first, melting into a serene, full-body calm. The smoke is gentle on the throat, rich in vapor, and incredibly aromatic. Strong development over the past week, with clear vertical growth and well-defined tops forming. This should be the final week of vegetative growth before she fully transitions into flowering.

Day 58 : She is fattening her buds very much. CO2 stopped for all ladies. As you can see trichomes still are in cloudy period. So she needs couple weeks for sure. Edit (Day 62) : I watered again with nutrients. She is the most stinky lady in room and the most heavy. Looking forward for her.

Jack Herer Auto is doing well. She is progressing into flowering nicely she is under a 100 watt SF-1000 in Athena blended line nutrition. I am curious to see how she does with the grow being in a cooler spot. Bonus material- my cannabutter pics. No smoke report for a while but I can give you an edibles report in a few hours 😂 Plant #1 suffered gravely and thus was harvested early, dried, and turned into beaaautiful butter/edibles hehe. The rest of it is box drying and I'll be doing the same with that. The top of the plant (first harvest of sorts, after bud rot discovered) was 49g dry, not inc ofc what was binned. I'll let you know the dry weight of the rest but no point giving you a smoke report. She was cut early and suffered a looooot The purple lemonade began as the underdog and quickly took over as my #1 babe. It was far more resilient to environmental conditions and changes- and let's not forget that they went through a hurricane with me and power out for a few days! I don't find her strong on the nose at all despite how big some of her buds are, and how frosty. Very piney, and that dominates everything else. Very excited to see what terps come out more in the cure though- I hear great things about this strain. She was cut today and is hanging in a dark closet with small fan, RH 65% and temp 22c. I did not take a wet weight, but she's heavy. Super looking forward to smoking this one, after a few more weeks of TLC... Sigh. Always we try to wait haha. I will report back when I have more for you all. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions and supported me through my first grow. I've definitely got the bug now and there'll be no stopping me haha Will be back with smoke report and dry weights laterrr 🇨🇦 --- Nov 12 - Plant dried for 6 days. It is a lot airier than I thought it was going to be, so most of it ended up as shake for edibles or something. I ended up with 38g of big bud, 33 of smaller, and over 40g of larf and shake. Even the big buds are airy though, not dense at all. A little disappointing for sure, but I made a lot of mistakes so it isn't a surprise. It is now in jars with humidity packs and I'll report back in a couple of weeks or so with a smoke report :)

The plant is getting used to the new led. Some leaves are making wired turn but the pistils are lokimg great and I don't think the plant is suffering from change of light, but much rather love it!!

Last bonzai pound cake has been in dark for 3 days , absolutely covered in frost! It's my favourite Smelling strain from Fastbuds so far . Unreal! Next week harvest ❄️🙌❄️🙌❄️🙌❄️

Tengo este problema de oidio alguna solución orgánica para combatirlo está entrando en la 6ta semana de florscion plis ayuda! No todo es color de rosas la ventilación se la mantengo constante y la temp está x los 27 grados a la noche baja pero no sé que puedo aplicar así no se sigue propagando

The weather is getting cold.

Hi guys So here is my 10 plant auto run from fastbuds 420 genetics. I will update weekly on this one. So I'm going to be using 3 gal fabric pots filled with biobizz lightmix soil. I will be putting into solo cups after the 18 hour soak then transferring them to there for ever pots. Im looking forward to this run and trying to get 20oz + dry and cured out of this 4x4 tent grow. Part 2 of germination in operation in solo cups with root juice. Hopefully 10 out of 10 pop.

This week has been good new children just been born so keep humidity up and give the babies time and love

I had a pretty good overall grow with Drunken Bitch Slap from Aeque Genetics. She grew well under the Hortibloom Solux 350. It looks like she will provide several ounces of good bud when dry. She got very big and has long saggy branches with nice frost buds on it. She smells like a black licorice, and gas smell. I am very curious to how she smokes. Harvested on day 66, overall very happy with how these ladies turned out & will definitely be growing them again! Wish all 3 could have put off buds like 1 of them did but the other 2 had some small issues & I feel like that’s why the didn’t produce as well!
