WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. Compared to powerplant, LSD is very slow to get going. By the end of week 2 of flower i expect more established bud-sites, however i have been told that LSD will get busier towards the later stage of flowering. We shall see. But in terms of plant health, there are no deficiencies (not that you get any with NFT), very uniform nodal spacing - no stretch, very large stems at the bottom and the root mass is exactly what i expect. The temperature has now dropped to 14c at ''night time'' so ive had to introduce a small heater to keep the temps up whilst theyre asleep.

Entering Week 5 of Flower. Plants are doing great, really starting to fill out. The strongest of the 3 is thickening up, and the middle one is really starting to stretch. The runt even has good buds forming. I do think that I am starting to see signs of Nitrogen Toxicity in the fast grower, darker leaves and a tendency to curl downwards, so I will be watering with no Nutes this week. Looking like my first harvest will be a good one. Fingers Crossed. 10/14/24- Pruned a few leaves that were getting big and blocking bud sites. Starting to smell amazing, sharp lemon and berry notes. Thickening up every day. 10/15/24 - Nothing new to report. Watered again tonight without nutes. 10/16/24 - Officially 30 days of Flower! I can finally envision the nugs. Shaping up to be a good first run. 10/18/24 - Coming into the end of the week strong. Still fattening up. Glad I decided to flush these girls with plain water, because the first signs of tip burn are showing, so I definitely overfed. Beginner mistake I guess. Hopefully I caught it early enough that I can reverse it or keep it at bay until harvest. Tonight I did a little pruning on the fast grower. I cleaned up a ton of lower larf sites that were just taking up energy and space in the interior of the plant, so I carefully pruned what I was comfortable removing, making sure not to touch or disturb the pistols and sugar leaves. It has drastically increased the airflow and light saturation, and hopefully wont come at too much of a cost in the form of recovery. She always recovered super fast from training, so I'm not worried.

Week 15 - August 09, 2020 -Day 99 08/09: We’re almost at the end. I gave Aaliyah her first watering with plain water. I’m planning on chopping the top colas off of her in a week. Hopefully I can get something out of the lower growth that isn’t getting any light right now. Alexis is coming down in two and Annie in three. Annie has some damage due to the light, but she is hanging in there. Alexis looks the healthiest overall. She stayed pretty compact, so light is still able to reach her lower parts. I think I could’ve had a better grow overall if I would have stuck with using only 3-gallon pots. [General notes: The nutrients on the diary are based off what I’m giving Aaliyah. Alexis is on the previous weeks schedule and Annie in the schedule from two weeks ago.]

She is growing like a champ. The only issue I have with her so far is watering she feed like crazy. Excited to see what the future hold for her.

This strain was a mystery from the beginning. I planted 6 plants and got 4 drastically different phenos. Surprisingly they all have similar aromas but visually they’re much different. She stretched a lot and needed two layers of the sCrog net. One plant had 2 random seeds so I’ll probably be planting her again. Next time I’ll use a low stress method to see her at her full potential!

Week 8 for Moby Dick by fastbuds, Been getting a few spiders webs here & there on this plant... i don't think its spider mites but staying on the look out encase it is. Aphid situation seems to be well handled ATM after i sprayed some organic pesticide on the plant & some much stronger stuff in the surrounding area like i mentioned i planned on doing on last weeks update. Been defoliation very little on this plant just the stuff making shade on the flower growth areas. 😎

34 days. Looks like is doing fine…defoliation, a little bit of food, but mainly water. what do you think?

The plant is now in mid to late flower (around day 35–37) and bud structure is fully developed. No new pistils are forming anymore, indicating the transition from bulk to ripening and resin maturation. Buds are very dense, heavily calyx-stacked and already showing strong coloration and frost. Feeding has been stabilized with moderate Bloom and Micro, minimal Grow for pH stability, and the switch to Overdrive has begun. From here on the focus is on ripening, trichome development and maintaining airflow until the final harvest window.

Week 2 and these ladies are growing like weeds These beauties just blow up over the last week.. Today we topped and defoliate the plants. Time will tell how long we will veg for .. I'll flip the switch when I'm happy with the canopy. I kept the autopot system off and only water manually. I did turn on the air pump to the airdome after the 1st week.. Today I will turn on the system . I mixed a resivor with 38L of water. Like I mentioned earlier it's my 1st time running the autopots so I dont know how much water and nutrients I will go through, but I will keep notes and be sure to post them as the week go on ...

Guava Runtz – Week 5 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) The weather has been perfect again this week. Guava Runtz is getting massive amounts of sunlight and is being fed on a regular schedule. She’s loving the outdoor life. I switched to better support sticks to properly stabilize her, and it’s already making a difference. She has shot up to over 15 cm tall and displays that rich, healthy green foliage I like to see.

The buds have started to get bigger and produce a lot of trichomes, very sugary, I started the bloom boosters, she feels really good 🌋💚
