Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. Day 14 she’s loving life. I learned our ph was coming out at ph 8.5 or over so we got that handled and since she’s exploded. I’ve very excited to have her in the arsenal again.

This is my first induced flowering growth. I always grow weed outdoors with big satisfaction on yield and nature contact, But I have to say that training plants is real fun and I can’t wait to see the buds first appear and then fatten up. On day 5 of flowering she started to appear a little stressed, I think is a little overfeeding because her leaves are a little burned on the tip and a little underwater too but this morning end of day 6 appear to be recovering has the timelapse show on the end. Las Cream Caramel siguen floreciendo a buen ritmo, pero las California Kush no acaban de empezar a florecer. Le he puesto una maya y le he podado un poco los bajos a ver si eso ayuda. Los platos de las macetas están llenos de raíces, lo que me indica que tienen buena salud. Para ser autoflorecientes las veo un poco tardías.

Love this plant! So it’s a generic Slurricane cross abs she is getting frosty and tall! The two topped branches were stunted and the 2 outside are huge! Just giving her my normal feed schedule now with a weekly tea. Love this! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Moin moin liebe Leute erstmal Entschuldigung das ich Woche 8 nicht hoch geladen habe, hab einfach den Kopf zu voll zur Zeit der grow läuft an sich ganz gut alle 2 Tage muss ich die Arme der okto moms neu anpassen mit der Höhe damit die Äste einiger maßen auf gleicher Höhe bleiben. Hab zusätzlich heraus gefunden was die Flecken auf den blättern verursacht ich hab die ganze zeit extract und bat boost gleichzeitig genutzt dabei werden die Zusätze getrennt benutzt (ich depp wieder) extract für vegi phase und in blüte umstellen auf bat boost naja die okto moms leben und gedeihen werde die tage auch auf 12/12 licht plan umstellen und somit ist dann auch die Hälfte des grows schon wieder rum euch noch ein schönen Sonntag meine homies und growmies

This is the last week before water flush and the harvest. Plants continue in their course. The week plant surprisingly will give some crop but the healthy one is very pretty. From today I started with the water to flush.

week intel: im felling in love with them everything is good . this week was time of second net layer , the first layer was for spreading the branches and doing LST now the second layer is for supporting branches for later weeks when the buds gain weight and gets heavy the net will hold branch stand up without benting. stresses: im just gonna cause a little E.C stress to raise the terpens. i found their max tolerance is 1.9 E.C so im not gonna reach or get close to that amount again and beside this wont cause any more streses untill week 6 that will do second pruning and we are done with trainings then. feeding: as always im feeding plants 3 times per week with nutrients , no plain water at all, just with nutrients with adjusted p.h at this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) and karbo about 950 ppm - 1.8 e.c to cause a little e.c stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose for start of Green House Feeding Booster around 267 ppm - 0.6 e.c alone cuz this bad boy is very strong. day 5 : i feed them with medium dose of Top-Max around 160 ppm - 0.3 e.c to let them recover the stresses and eat the previous nutrients untill next feed at next week and the next 2 days will rest and eat :D just remember never feed them plain water besides the first week of germination always feed water with nutrients to feed them right p.h every time and to avoid excess water problems, and let them eat the previous meal for 24 hours and dry the soil, so at total only feeding nutrients 3 times a week other days let them dry and rest
