~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/16- Here we go into the first week of veg and second week since breaking ground for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod! 5/18- Right away what ever has been chewing on my other outdoor plants, has now decided to take a taste of my Papaya Sherbet so I'll be spraying with Neem Oil and adding a ring of Diaotomascous Earth around the Papaya Sherbet to deter any slugs... I don't like slugs! 5/20- Rain showers yesterday handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound. 5/22- There's two weeks on the books for this pretty little photoperiod from FastBuds and I can't wait to see what she'll do in the coming weeks! This a cutting from the same line of Gelato Cake. Its in its 2nd week, and has been pollinated in 3 places with Gelato cake, dosi punch and an unnamed Sativa so expecting seeds.by abundance

🌿 Week 6: Explosive Side Growth & The Recovery Phase Strain: Sticky Broccoli Auto 🥦 Stage: Late Vegetation / Pre-Flowering Light Cycle: 18/6 📝 The General Vibe The "Sticky Broccoli" is really starting to live up to its name not because of the resin yet, but because she’s bushing out like crazy! After pinning the main terminal down last week, the side branches have officially taken over. Despite my shoulder injury, the garden is thriving, proving that a little bit of LST goes a long way. 🍽️ The Menu (Nutrients) Still staying consistent with the Plagron and BioBizz regimen. Root-Juice: 3ml (Finalizing the root base) Bio-Grow: 2ml (Supporting the leafy explosion) Bio-Down: 1ml (Keeping that pH stable around 5.9 for the coco mix) Observations: The redistribution of auxins worked perfectly. I now have 4-6 secondary tops that are all competing to be the new main lead. The stem is thickening up nicely, and I’m starting to see the first signs of "pre-flower" pistils. 👽 Final Thoughts Gardening with one hand was a workout, but seeing these results makes it worth it. The "Kewpie" Garden Managers are still on duty and seem happy with the progress. Next week, I expect a significant vertical stretch as she prepares to flower!

I feel like the overall cycle length of this is a lot longer than stated. They have been growing for nearly 15 weeks. I believe they could have done with an extra week but we needed the space to add other clones that were ready.

She smell really good of cherry and fruits. She dont have soo much trichomes but I love the structure while she was growing... A productive one too. The only 2 are starting making orange hair.

When pulling dead leafs off your hands get sticky as can be so keep some alcohol close by. All in all Happy Growing

Week 3 going well. Topped her and doing a bit of lst as well. Week 4 fead her with 25ml off grow auto from living Soils. And did a bit of demolition as well.

Things are now advancing smoothly, having effectively weathered the majority of the challenges encountered. It's a truly uplifting experience to watch the process unfold, seeing how the plants are developing and thriving. Each day brings new progress, and I am continually enthusiastic about maximizing the sunlight that each plant receives as they continue on their growth journey. In addition to the hands-on cultivation aspect, I'm also diligently working on expanding my clones collection. The plan for the next week or so is to cultivate and ready these clones for transplantation. It's an exciting aspect of the process that helps me stay committed to my ultimate goal. That goal, of course, is to maximize my supply chain and provide high-quality cannabis. This involves more than just horticultural efforts. I am also persistently studying and researching the relevant laws to familiarize myself with the legal process. Navigating the licensing phase is a vital part of this journey, and I am committed to understanding and adhering to all legal requirements to ensure success in this venture. Diary Entry for Growth Project: Day 24 - Today, a slower-growing plant was effectively moved from its soil environment into an idle hydroponic system. With this transition, the count of prospering plants stands at eight, with a couple more still being monitored due to uncertain growth. Significant discoveries include the paramount importance of light distance to the plants, which was underestimated initially. Further, it has been found that genetically modified seeds hold no superiority over the prevalent autoflower seed market. Additionally, the positioning of the plant and the volume of medium placed between the plants and the water source have been recognized as key determinants in accelerating early stage growth. Welcome to the Day 25 update of our grow journal. I must apologize for the slight confusion - although the video says it’s day 23, today indeed marks the 25th day of our journey. I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve had a successful transplant. The plants are now settling nicely into their new environments. The question now at hand is, should we introduce stress training? As we move into days 26 and 27, I have been pondering on this. High-stress training can sometimes stimulate growth, but in our current situation, it might not be the most prudent course of action. This time around, we are expecting all our plants in the grow tent to blossom concurrently. In light of this, I’m leaning towards letting nature take its course rather than intervening with stress training. By doing so, we will allow our plants to focus their energy solely on flowering. The goal here is to encourage the production of dense and frosty buds, the hallmark of a successful growth cycle. Rest assured, we’ll continue to provide the plants with the care and nutrients they need. Remember, every cycle is a learning experience, and we’re on this botanical journey together. Only 3 out of 8 turned out to be females. 5 male ones were culled a week ago. 💀 Today I transplanted them to final - 26L - fabric pots and moved into flowering 4x4 ft tent under Mars Hydro FC 4800 (466W). They get around 650 μmol/m²/s for now - will crank it up in a few days. I used Canna Terra Professional substrate - as always. After they get accustomed to new pots I'll flip them to flower - in about a week. 👌

Nach der Entlaubung letzter Woche haben sich die Pflanzen gut erholt und im Netz entfalten lassen. Die Blütenansätze sind nun deutlich sichtbar. Der Geruch ist moderat und die Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit konstant. Bin gespannt wie groß die so werden. Ist mein erster Grow von Photoperiodischen Pflanzen.
