Tested the pH of the runoff and saw that it was 5.0 so I continued to water the plant while using a small dose of a liquid nutes until I had a runoff of 6.3. I did some LST for the last time just to increase the light to some of the inner bud sites. Also did a bit of defoliation

Sorry for the delay, but I had to deal with several unexpected issues. The main one was realizing that most of the trichomes on these plants had already turned amber.I was convinced they were still at an earlier stage because, in my previous run with the same Critical Orange Punch from the same seed batch, they matured later. This time, however, they seemed to finish much faster, and in my opinion the stress they experienced may have played a role.Because of that, I had to act quickly and harvest the plants without carrying out the usual flush. After looking into it more carefully, I found that flushing in this case does not seem to offer any real benefit, at least according to the scientific information I came across. From what I found, flushing does not seem to make a significant difference in the final outcome in terms of taste, smoothness, or overall quality. Drying and curing probably play a much bigger role, but I would really like to hear your opinion and experience on this as well.Another thing I noticed during the last week was a clear change in the aroma inside the tent. The smell became sweeter, deeper, and far more intense.I cannot say for sure whether that was directly linked to trichome maturity, but overall I am satisfied with the result so far, especially considering the setbacks along the way. As you can see from the photos, it was a very demanding week, and trimming all the plants in just a couple of days was a real challenge.That said, the buds look absolutely beautiful and very promising. Now it is just a matter of waiting another week or two before I can give you a proper update on the smoke quality.Happy growing, everyone.

What up fam. Weekly update for these purple beauties. They have grown absolutely phenomenal, I really couldn't of asked for an easier grow. Giving them the basics and watching them thrive has been a blast to watch. A few got pulled out that finished a little earlier then the others but the rest will most likely be harvested this coming week. Love the colors and smell it produces as it's truly intoxicating. My baby and I are reconsidering the path of our relationship. I made some mistakes that slowed her development. To be more precise, I placed the pot directly in the run-off water tray of her sisters. I couldn't get it why she was showing signs of overwatering until I made the connection: - She was sucking on the runoff water. So... that fucked things up a bit. It resulted in slow growth and eventually Nitrogen deficiency. I basically didn't feed her anything this week(not on purpose at least). I transplanted her in an 18l pot today, and I'm considering taking her out in the greenhouse in 4-5 days when I'm going to flip the other ladies to 12/12. I really like her genes so far, so easy to play with! <3 👆 So the thought is that she would get about 10 weeks to mature into a fine lady in the greenhouse until the coco ladies will be finished, then I will move her in and bloom her. What do you think about that idea?

2 of plants started fading a little I feed them with compost tea and organic nutrients of biobizz I want to test something on one of my plants. Light Compost tea 2 times a week I fed them compost tea once a week from early veg until now and there is no sign of nutrients burning its 33 degrees celsius they need watering everyda

So I had a little burn from overfeeding but it has since corrected itself and am only using water ph to 6.6.

Guess what? 😂😂😂 MY INCREDIBLY STUPID IDEA IS STILL STUPID. Yes. The small-pot experiment. The brilliant idea that somehow went through my head: "Let's put her in a smaller pot. Maybe she'll stay smaller." 😂😂😂😂😂 Well... NO. Apparently not. This girl looked at my 11-litre pot and basically said: "That's cute." 😂👑🌿 And then she continued growing. And growing. And growing. And growing. Until here we are... Week 13... and I'm still doing significantly more work with this girl than with most of the room. Not because she's difficult. Not because she's unhealthy. Not because something is wrong. Quite the opposite. She's thriving. She's cruising. She's growing beautifully. She's shining. She's bulking. She's developing. She's doing absolutely fucking fantastic. The problem? She's demanding. VERY demanding. 😂💦😂 She wants water. Then she wants more water. Then she apparently looks at me and says: "Are we done?" "No." 😂 "More." 😂😂😂 So here I am... trying to keep up with this little-pot monster while the rest of the room is basically cruising along. And honestly? I don't mind the work. I LOVE the work. But this? This is unnecessary work. 😂😂😂 Because apparently putting a big-growing plant into a small pot does not make the plant small. It simply makes the grower work harder. Lesson learned. 😂🌱📚 So let's give this beautiful, demanding, absolutely ridiculous girl the spotlight. Because she deserves it. 👑🌿🔥🌸 ──────────────────────── 🌱 WEEK 13 – THE SMALL POT THAT REFUSES TO MAKE HER SMALL At this point, I think we've officially proven the theory. 😂 Small pot does not automatically equal small plant. At least not with this girl. She's still growing. She's still getting bigger. She's still developing. She's still building. And somehow... she continues to look like she would happily occupy a 25-litre pot. Or maybe even the ground. 😂😂😂 Honestly? I have no idea where she would stop. Maybe she'd just keep going. Maybe she'd eventually ask me for a greenhouse. 😂👑🌿 Because the 11-litre pot clearly isn't convincing her that she should be small. She's simply using what space she has and making the absolute most of it. And now I'm paying the price for my experiment every time I have to keep up with her water demand. 😂💦 But looking at her? I can't even be annoyed. She's beautiful. ──────────────────────── 💦 THE THIRSTY LITTLE MONSTER Let's talk about the real story of this week. Water. 😂💦😂💦😂 This girl is demanding. Demanding. Smaller plant. Less work. Right? WRONG. 😂😂😂 The reality: Small pot. Big plant. More frequent attention. More water demand. More support. More work. More standing in front of her asking: "Why the hell are you still getting bigger?" 😂👑🌿 So if anyone is keeping notes from this adventure... please write this down: **DogDoctor's Small Pot Theory** ❌ Small pot = small plant Apparently not. Instead: ❌ Small pot = less work Also apparently not. What I actually got was: 🌱 Big plant 💦 Big thirst 🌸 Big flowers 👑 Big personality 😂 Big workload And honestly? It's fucking hilarious. ──────────────────────── 🌿 SHE'S GROWING LIKE SHE'S IN NATIVE SOIL This is the part that really gets me. Look at her. Seriously. Look at her. 😂 If I didn't know she was sitting in an 11-litre pot, I wouldn't necessarily guess that from looking at the plant. She keeps growing as if she's been given a much larger root zone. Sometimes I look at her and think: "What if I had put you in 25 litres?" 😂 And then another thought: "What if I had just put you in the ground?" 😂😂😂 I genuinely don't know what would have happened. Maybe she'd still be asking for more water. Maybe I'd be standing outside with a hosepipe thinking: "Okay girl, that's enough now." 😂🌿💦 But that's the fascinating part. She's showing us what this phenotype wants to do. And apparently... what she wants to do is GROW. ──────────────────────── 👑 THE PLANT IS IN CHARGE At this point, I have officially accepted my role. 😂 I'm not the boss. I'm the provider. I'm the hands. I'm the guy standing there making sure she gets what she needs when she asks for it. 😂🌿 She's basically the boss of the operation. She's not simply sitting there waiting for the end. She's still actively doing her thing. And that's why I'm not worried about the few leaves beginning to yellow. There are some minor yellowing leaves appearing. And yes... we're getting closer to the later stages. But I'm looking at the whole plant. I'm looking at the flowers. I'm looking at her development. I'm looking at her overall appearance. And I'm not seeing something that makes me panic. She's moving toward where she needs to go. Naturally. Gradually. In her own way. And that's perfectly fine. ──────────────────────── 🍃 A FEW YELLOWING LEAVES – AND I'M NOT PANICKING This deserves a little mention because I know somebody will notice it. 😂 Yes. There are a few leaves starting to yellow. And honestly? I'm not worried. We're getting further into the flowering cycle. The plant is changing. Some foliage is beginning to show signs of aging. And that's part of the journey. I'm watching it. I'm not ignoring it. But I'm also not inventing a crisis where there isn't one. The plant overall looks beautiful. She's developing. She's building. She's getting closer to the later stages. So I'm simply observing. No panic. No unnecessary intervention. No dramatic: "OH MY GOD, A YELLOW LEAF!" 😂😂😂 One yellowing leaf doesn't get to cancel the entire beautiful plant. We're watching the whole picture. And the whole picture looks damn good. ──────────────────────── 🌸 DENSE, COMPACT AND STILL GETTING BIGGER One of the things I really love about this girl is that she's not simply growing tall for the sake of being tall. She's becoming substantial. The flowers are dense. The structures are compact. The plant is filling itself out. And she's doing it while continuing to increase in size. It's almost like she's found the cheat code: "Why choose between size and density?" 😂👑🌿 I'll just have both. And that's exactly what we're seeing. Nitrogen is low and I caught it late. Cant correct it much now due to it being in its second week of flower. They are fairly happy otherwise. We will see how this goes.

Day 28 week 4 of flower plants looking good I dropped a 3L water bottle on a string which snapped a whole branch from the bottom 😳 on right plant 😭

February 9, 2021 (Week 5, Day 36): Start of week 5 of veg begins with more adjustments to the LST. Tons of stem growth, had to tie down Unknown 1 and Unknown 2's growth. The plants are almost to the outside of their pots, then I'll begin upward growth. Probably in the next few days. Gelato 1 is bushy as hell and just won't stop growing. The stems are massive. The minor nitrogen toxicity in the plants has completely subsided - no more drooping tips. Medium is still wet from yesterday. Lightly tilled the topsoil. Adjusted tent's passive intake and blocked out a heat vent in my grow room to help lower temperatures a bit; last night temperatures dipped another 2℉ further than average during lights out to 68℉. I'm now getting the 10℉ (68℉-78℉) swing I was looking for. Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. No other news today. February 10, 2021 (Week 5, Day 37): Temperature dipped another 2℉ last night to 66℉. I think this new passive intake setup is working great so far. Plants are growing like mad and look perfectly healthy. Last night I went to change the humidifier water and noticed the pre-lights out droop, so they're definitely in the rhythm now. Adjusted LST and further lowered canopy to promote flat and lateral growth. Unknown 1 is already to the outside perimeter of its pot, so it will start growing vertically now. Gelato 1 isn't far behind Unknown 1, another day or so and it will be ready to stretch. Unknown 2 is a little shorter than the other two plants but I think that's just due to the difference in strain at this point. Since it's a little more squat I will let it grow vertically as soon as I let Gelato 1 go. I'll just have to make sure its bud sites are getting appropriate light and air through flower. Medium is still moist - lightly tilled topsoil. Averaging 60% rH and 74℉. Happy hump day, friends! 🐫 *PM Update: While changing the humidifier this evening I noticed a tragedy unfolding. Unknown 2's main stem has split in half. It has always been the runt out of the three plants, but this seems bad. I have added a grow question asking for advice and seeing if what I've done is adequate. I tied the stem back together in a cross-hatch with garden tie and then used a zip-tie to cinch the stem back together. I don't know what I've done wrong, but I am guessing this strain doesn't take well to high stress training like I've been doing. The other plants are much hardier. I will try to find a good veg stage vitamin-B supplement for my next grow to aid with stem growth. What a sad day. February 11, 2021 (Week 5, Day 38): 12-hours after Unknown 2's stem split in half and it appears my repair is working. The plant looks just as healthy as it was without any drooping or shock, so it still seems to be thriving. I'm glad the split happened on the runt and not on one of the other plants. The other plants look great and are plugging right along. Gelato 1 is so damn leafy it just doesn't quit. Starting to notice staggered node development on Unknown 1 and Gelato 1, so these plants are definitely at maturity now. I think another week in veg will do. Didn't adjust any LST this morning as I am going to start transitioning to vertical growth now (and I'm also now terrified of splitting another main stem). Medium is still slightly moist. Tilled half-inch of top soil. It's pretty cold here right now and the tent dipped to 64℉ last night. That's about as low as I want to go, so hopefully it will stay between 64℉ and 68℉ nightly. Averaging 60% rH and 73℉. Nothing else for today. February 12, 2021 (Week 5, Day 39): Watered with nutrients today; 4 liters per plant 5.7 pH + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 1ml/l Cal-Mag Plus. Plants are looking perfectly healthy. Time to juice and see what happens. Unknown 2 doesn't seem to be affected at all by the stem splitting. My repair seems to be holding for now. Starting to see the growth sites pop up vertical on all the plants. Hopefully we'll see plenty of vertical growth over the next several days. Averaging 60% rH and 74℉. February 13, 2021 (Week 5, Day 40): Plants are looking good this morning. Vertical growth looks good and the growth sites are becoming more obvious. Soil is still wet this morning. Haven't adjusted LST in two days now. Hopefully this growth keeps up and we can switch to flower in the next week or so. Averaging 60% rH and 72℉. Nothing else to report today. February 14, 2021 (Week 5, Day 41): Medium is still wet this morning. Tilled half inch of top soil. Saw about another half inch of vertical growth overnight. Unknown 1 is leaving the other plants in the dust now. It's lanky and wants to stretch. It's also starting to get interesting coloration on its main stem near the base; like purple-red veins. Gelato 1 is just a mess of leaves. The base has the diameter of a quarter, it's huge. Interestingly, it is also starting to smell very sweet and creamy already. I have a feeling it's going to reek. I'm trying not to defoliate until I get more vertical growth. All these leaves seem to have air and light so I don't see any reason to get rid of them yet. Averaging 60% rH and 74℉. Happy Valentine's day, everyone! 😍 February 15, 2021 (Week 5, Day 42): Plants were starting to stack leaves so I defoliated each plant today by taking the second nodes on the top and bottom sets of growth stems, leaving the left and right growth stems with all their nodes. After the haircut the plants look great. Medium is partly-dry. I'll let it go for another day and water tomorrow. I readjusted the LST by removing the first set of braces and adjusted each branch so it produces a completely flat canopy. So far Unknown 1 is the lankiest plant and is about half an inch ahead of the others. The growth I am seeing is amazing. The stems are very healthy as are the leaves. Seems to be growing about half and inch or so of stem per 24 hour period. This should mean one more week of veg and then I will switch to a 12/12 lighting cycle. Next week I'll let these plants grow vertically and Monday night (February 22) will be its first night of 12/12. I'll only change this plan if I don't see enough vertical growth. I am dealing with relatively limited space, so I have to make sure I keep these plants under control in anticipation for the flowering stretch. Gelato 1 is seriously starting to smell amazing - it is throwing 4-5 pre-flowers at every single node and it is filling my grow room with a sweet creamy scent. The other plants have pre-flowers as well but nothing to the extent of Gelato 1. Averaging 60% rH and 72℉. Because I am seeing drastically lower temperatures, I'll lower the humidity to 55% next week and keep it there until mid to late flower. One more week of veg and onto the next adventure: flowering! Giorno 1 bene le ragazze si sono riprese bene dal trapianto e stanno sviluppando bene le radici e iniziano a bere più acqua. Giorno 2 LST e verrà già pulita con una leggera defogliazione e più che altro lollipopping( solamente 1 nodo in meno per ogni ramo e 2 nei più sviluppati) perché è già più grande della compagna e ha i rami troppo cespugliosi che rovinano il flusso di aria e il loro corretto sviluppo. Giorno 3 annaffiata con 1L di acqua Giorno 7 defogliazione e lollipopping

8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. I HAVE LOTS OF DIFFERENT OPTIONS SO ILL FIGURE SOMETHING OUT. BUDS SEEM TO BE EXPLODING IN GROWTH. OH AND THANKS TO THE OUTDOOR GROWER THAT MESSAGED OFFERING TO HELP. I APPRECIATE THAT. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden.

11/6 Monday. She’s very very dry today. I’m gonna do 96 ounces of water she’ll take all that and I’m gonna do the medium feeding schedule and I’m gonna go with the bloom tastic I’m gonna do two mils per gallon. 11/7 after the water last night she did really good, but because I did not top her at the fourth node, I usually do. I just tied the branches back with those plastic clips I need to defoliate there’s way too much underneath I’ve never had this kind of growth before so I have to go and trim out some of the non-functioning branches and some of the bigger leaves to get some airflow and light to the bottom. She’s really great I’m super surprised last time I had bad Soil and this time I have some bugs but I’ve sprayed for them and she’s responding well I also gave that bloom hardener sooner than I should’ve but she’s doing good LST went good 👍 8 hours later she’s responding. Well leaves are starting to reach up again because I lowered the light to 92 W whenever they start pushing down it seems like there’s too much light which also means it’s cooler so it’s just great. I’m glad I got the Mars Hydro lights. They’ve made a huge difference being able to put the driver outside the tent without having to buy any extras. I’ll probably get a fourth one of those eventually. 11/8 Wednesday super early morning I dried some of the little branches. I took off overnight and I’m smoking them right now. I can’t believe it. She is so strong. Her leaves are really starting to wake up. Lowering the light made a huge difference. the light was just too powerful. I keep forgetting that so I turned it down to about 92 W and she’s really waking up today. It’s incredible and I’m a little bit dizzy. It’s a little stronger than I thought. This is one of my best ones. I really like this. 👍👍👍 11/8 PM I turned the light up 5 W. It made a pretty good difference and I raised it up about 2 inches to get a little more light spread. I did another unexpected watering today. She was completely dry so I did a full gallon. I mean 96 ounces with half gallon measured out nutrients, I had some weird issues with my water. I hope it doesn’t affect the plants. I boiled my water and I look at the top of it and lots of small particles floating on the top of the water & the bottom of the pan has something brown burned onto it. Very weird. 11/9 👍👍👍🤩 11/10 I did another watering using 96 ounces this morning. She is growing like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Last time I topped her between the third and fourth node to keep her small and I did it way too soon. I was experimenting so her main stem was really thin and this time is one of the thickest ones I’ve had, so she clearly does not like being topped and now she’s growing into a beautiful monster it’s just great is probably one of my best grows 11/11 her buds really seemed to swell overnight after the defoliation and the feeding. Lowering the lights wattage as helped I’m just going to leave her alone today, but wow.🤩 She had a really good day. I did a little extra tying down of some branches. I didn’t takeoff early any leaves just one or two let her heal a lot from trimming yesterday she doing great probably my best grow ever and the first time that I’ve just used tying the branches down instead of topping much better result for this plant. 11/12 Sunday end of the week. She has been phenomenal this week and her buds are really starting to swell. Now I have to spray for bugs. I think that the soil bugs are eating at the roots whenever I spray at the bottom of the bag I immediately could results so there’s something in the soil I’m competing with, but she is the best girl I’ve ever had. You can get up to nine free seats if you buy the right thing on seedsman and so I stocked up on these critical pluses now I know how big they get. I’m gonna keep growing these and they smell so good .
