Seeds from Humboldt Seed Company germinated faster, but Green House Seed Co. plants have been growing bigger so far...

Alrighty, guys and gals it's another res change and another opportunity to make mistakes haha. All in all, I actually got a lot of helpful advice through the questions forum so a big shout out to anyone that helped with those issues. Unfortunately with the rest of the canopy being somewhat the same height, I decided to leave the lights on 100%. I can't raise them any higher and I just have to better in veg when it comes to keeping the canopy even and encouraging bud sites. I'm super tempted to trim up the top big fan leaves but I honestly am not sure if it would help any at this point in time. I'm looking forward to giving the buds more time to grow though and I'm hoping a surprise myself with a great turnout. I'm still at a loss for when to harvest as far as what to look for with the buds aesthetically. I've heard the trichomes cloudy bit so many times but I guess I just cant tell if I should harvest what's larger done and cloudy then harvest the rest later etc.

Shes doing alright despite my issues of overwatering and using old soil. I added ac infinity self watering bases to the grow. They should help a lot with the issues & improve this grow. ######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. Hi liebe Community! 💚 Der zweite Strain von Good Times Genetics. Entwickelt sich wunderprächtig und es sind sehr schöne große und Breitgefächerte Blätter zu erkennen. Ein schönes Wuchsbild verreint mit einer starken Indica Dominanz. Bei diesem Typ allerdings liegen die Seitentriebe etwas näher am Haupttrieb, als bei der anderen Pflanze. Gestern wurden die Ladys ausselektiert und in ihre neuen Töpfe gepflanzt. Wir sind mega gespannt, wie sich die Pflanzen weiter entwickeln. Nach der nächsten Woche Erholung wird noch ein Topping folgen. These two little ones are really close. One took a beating on the leafs when the power was out for a couple days but over all both look great. Super stacked and frosty. They'll be getting chopped this week and really excited to get them dried and cured to sample some. Happy

159 Its been a rough week in flowering. She got super shocked and also I added way too much nitrogen. Because of that she was on water only diet for last week including today. Getting 2l per day to remove the extras. She wil get regular food in a day or so. Also today the watts goes to 200.

First pic is showing off some of the stretch that has occurred. We start “Above the Stakes”this week. -Sun 10th; it looks like the R plant is making a solid effort in its Stretch, which has just begun & is really happening. The L plant is flourishing and nearing the end of its own stretch. There is an image of the pair with 3’ showing on a tape measure as reference. Jan 11 Good things are happening as the circle of branches starts fill in ! ** as a side note, the Uv-B is going back on for 6hrs a cycle (3+3) after some more reading and the recent stretch action from the plant on the R. Nothing wrong with a weeks delay in nature between sisters & UV-B sounds like solid tech. Power is on again ** - Dinner-time after 4 days. - Hole drilled in overhead corner-bracket, to help Centre the Light. - Plants have been rotated a bit, LST (lashing-some-timber lol) re-positioned a bunch of branches/stakes, meshing the two plants together, in the middle. nuf snapshots. details as the week-ends. -Nutrient ratios are Max’d as the volume will continue to climb for 2 more big feeds. -rapid-start & cal/mg have already been dialed back a bit. My watering volume per/24hr now shows my water use in metric. That # is based on the last 2 meals and I’m now looking at 5 days without nutes... 14th, Steady progress all the way round. Moving lights and supports as needed. Reach continues on the Right plant, while the Left continues to look amazing -molasses in next feed (Sat), TDS to be updated 15th -the volume of water my plants have been receiving, has been larger each of the last 4 feedings. Extra time between feeds has been allotted and watering based on Pot weight/dryness is keeping the plants Full and Green. -The next feed will be half the volume of the last one. The goal tomorrow (day 5 since last feed) is to immediately satisfy the plants nutritional needs with a small meal (7 litres/2), but then it’s going to scream for more food. This time I will wait only 2 days and return to the larger volume and a 4-5 day cycle. That’s the plan. Goal was to raise both the volume and demand for more nutrients. (Without creating a swamp) It’s been kind of patchwork getting the numbers-up, and this is the first pause in that steady climb. Both plants seem to be firing in all cylinders. Sun Jan17 - adding Molasses to each feeding from Week 5 on in to harvest. - 2 days since last half-feed. Big feed tonight and 5 day gap next. -Reached my Max H2o volume with solid Nutrition #’s. The environment within the tent has been fine-tuned to near perfection during the daylight hours thanks to the Tent-X system. The Prima Klima EC blue fan's anticipated arrival next week is expected to iron out the nighttime VPD inconsistencies, ensuring a consistently optimal environment for the critical flowering stage ahead. Despite being introduced a week later than their tent companions, these F1s are displaying a remarkable growth spurt, currently about 10-14 days ahead in development compared to the photoperiod strains sharing their habitat. It's a testament to their vigorous genetics and the efficacy of our environmental controls and nutrient regimen. The weekly feed includes a meticulously measured concoction of Alga Bloom, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, administered every four days to sustain their accelerated growth. We've encountered our fair share of challenges with equipment integration, but it's the resilient spirit of these Watermelon Candy plants that keeps us motivated. Week 1 of Flower: HLG Diablo at 60% 22in from canopy. Watered in at 700ml top dressed 1tbs grow, 2tbs bloom, 3 tbs barley a recharge day and a silica day. All the girls look happy and have turned up filling in all the squares.

Had a great week, started to lollipop all of my plants, cut nitrogen all the way back and am sticking to Big Buds nutrients. The smell is already amazing, very skunky.

So this week has been quite eventful. First, for the good news, there has been tons of new growth and the plant has stretched like mad! The buds seem to be fattening up in the last couple of days which is always exciting!! That was the good news lol. The bad news is I found a few pollen sacks on this plant which is really disappointing. I have never run seeds from the breeder I went with this time around and I am chalking this up to weak genetics. I do not have any light leaks and I run a pretty tight and tidy ship on my end so it’s hard to think it was environmental. I pulled off what I found and it appears only one opened 🤦‍♂️ (see pictures). It has been a good 4 days since I have seen any so 🤞 I won’t see anymore. I will keep this plant going but if I wasn’t running a single plant I might pull the plug. Who likes seeds in their final product! 😬😬 Not me!! Pretty smooth week. Realizing I should've done a bit more defoliation around trellis level where I've got a lot of little budsites competing for space. Dosidos 1 (purple-er pheno) - beautiful plant with lots of frosty little buds. Nice colors in the pistils this week. CBS - still looks sickly. Gave her a shot of the Neptune's Harvest this week but she looks about the same. Despite her yellowing and mottled spots on the leaves her buds keep filling in. BttF2 - Looking pretty good. She's closer to the light than the other 3 but doesn't seem to have any issues with the extra rays. Dosidos 2 (frostier pheno) - Also looking healthy and dripping with trichomes. Accidentally got a little resin on my hand and it smelled like Sweet Tarts.
