A good week for the pink lady, no issues, the heatwaves have subsided a bit and there is a cold front that moved in. The RH has been steady, between 50-55%. I have decreased the nutrients further to just a bit of micro and cal mag. I have begun my process of “flushing” where I increase the water volume to allow for a 10-15% runoff. I find that this does not strip or shock the plant of nutrients it is still needing to fatten up. I do this for the last 4-5 feeds ending with straight phd water.

The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

Thin Mint Sr was fed nutrients at 50% strength 2.5 ml/.5 gal BioVega (3% N, 1% Phosphate, 5% Soluble Potash), 4 ml/.5 gal BioBoost (1% Phosphate), and 0.5 ml/.5 gal BioRhizotonic (0.6% Soluble Potash) (both plants still in nutrient distress - in process of recovery but have some new growth that is greener so improvement is being observed; slowly but surely!) ***Plants ideally would have been transitioned to the flowering phase this week, but due to nutrient deficiencies and nutrient burn on Thin Mint Jr., we are holding off on this transition for 1 week to give the plants a chance to recover from stress.

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome!
