There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... brilliant week of growth from the peanut butter cookies. Been a little bit of a struggle for space but will HST once all autoflowers are out. Both the auto cinderella jack and auto critical cheese are developing buds nicely

Heute gibt's wieder mehr zu gucken, ist auch nochmal einiges passiert. Ich hab das letzte Mal die Schere angesetzt um noch einmal die Spitzen zu vervielfältigen und ich habe nochmal Blattmasse, sowie untere Triebe entfernt. Da sie so schnell wächst, wird es kein Problem sein, das alles wieder zu kompensieren, diesmal aber schon zielgerichtet auf die wichtigen Teile der Pflanze. Endspurt vor der Umstellung auf die Blüte und den Stretch.

Finally, this week they got some light. Plants seemed to enjoy it and made a nice jump in bud size this week. And, there were some small caterpillars this week which wanted to eat the buds. Had to remove them, no big deal.

Plants in 4 and a half weeks of flower

With these plants, I started them directly in rockwool (no paper towel method or soaking, dry seed straight to cube) and the cube for Plant 1 ended up waterlogged, and the plant almost drowned. Now she's stunted, but I'm going to to let her go to harvest, even if she only produces larf (It's my first grow, so it's all just a learning experience at this point to me.) I moved both girls from the previous germination method to the one I'm using now, which is promix in a double-solo cup. Plant 2 just showed me her tap root out of the inside (grow cup where the seeds are located) cup, so I mixed together a 1-gallon MasterBlend mix (2.4-2.4-1.2) and fed her nutrients. Plant 1 is a little slower and hasn't shown me her tap yet, so no nutes for her. I'm using the AC Infinity humidity dome/propagation chamber with the grow lights and four vents. I keep the humidity around 82-84% because I'm aiming for a vpd of 0.6-0.9, and the temp stays around 70-75F. Day 18 is when I moved them both to their buckets. 4 gal in each bucket, so they got a 9.6-9.6-4.8 feed; will monitor for the next 24-48hrs and make sure they like it. Also, its measurement is grams/gal, not tsp/gal.

Not much has changed other than size. I have her locked down in a ring to direct even growth. She will stay in the pattern for another week or so before I'll release the branches and move her to the 4x4 flowering tent. I'd like to note that I have also removed the first 2 nodes on every branch on the entire plant. And cleaned up all growth for the first 5 nodes from the main stalk. As well as any branch that is facing down.

Good day, everyone!! So my DO Si Dos lady flowering time going well. I light the plant for 12 hours and feed it every day with 2L . The smell is perfect for me - northern scent of mint, citron and some pine aromas. Serious aroma= always good High effect, less stone. I think next week will be the last and I will prepare the plant for harvesting. Thanks Royal Queen for the genetic :)

Recovery at its finest, that's what you will see on week 4 around here! Guess who's loving the CO2 with high temperature? Thats right, all plants are! The comparison of last week with this week have such a difference, on day 24 I introduced a DIY CO2 bottle, the recipe consist in: -CO2- 2 cups of sugar 1 tablespoon of yeast 1 tablespoon of baking soda 1 later of warm water Mix all ingredients on a bottle, make a nail hole on the cap shake a little (when shaking put your finger on the nail hole, you should hear a hissssss when you release the hole) use it when lights are on, increase temperature to 30-35C, watch for high levels of humidity, and voila! I haven't started any LST yet, I am waiting for a bit more growth to start bending, I have to make sure all 5 plants will have enough space inside this 2x4 tent. 🌱 Finalizando la semana 3 y con buenas noticias 🌱 Efectivamente, esa carencia que venía notando estaba relacionada con calcio y magnesio. Después de añadir Calmag, las plantas empezaron a mostrar más vigor y mejor desarrollo. Hace unos días realicé el trasplante a macetas de 11L, probablemente las definitivas, aunque esto dependerá de cómo avancemos en las próximas semanas. 💪 A partir de ese trasplante, también comencé a incluir BioGrow en el riego, para potenciar el crecimiento. 📝 Dato útil: Antes de trasplantar, esperé a que el sustrato estuviera un poco más seco y compacto, lo que facilitó muchísimo el proceso. Luego, en ese primer riego post-trasplante, aproveché para aplicar fertilizantes. ¡Seguimos avanzando y viendo los cambios día a día! 🚀🌿

Had a ph problem last week as my pen decided to out of the blue go wonky. Made my plants basically drown till I caught it but these girls actually didn’t take it to bad. Only got a bit of leaf damage and plants seemed to bounce back overnight. 2 of 4 are tied down now and the others will be done this week as well. I will also be installing my Scrog screens at the end of the week.

Querido diario, esta semana he crecido 3cm por arriba y tres por abajo... me estoy haciendo mayor!! 07/01/21 Hoy he pasado todo el día mirando por la ventana, es todo luz y color!! 😘 Mi armario es triste, aunque al menos se está caliente y me da luz cuando el día acaba, he estado haciendo señas a las otras plantas a través del cristal, pero ellas no se mueven, no responden, parece que les cuesta, tienen las hojas muy gordas, no como yo, que soy liviana, elástica y grácil... me quiero!! 😍 11/01/21 Ya he desarrollado mi tercer nudo, mi cultivador está muy contento, pero sobre todo porque me ha dicho que mis raíces están creciendo perfectas; blancas, peludas, vigorosas y muy verticales... me ha dicho que si sigo así la semana que viene me trasplanta a una maceta mayor, que será mi suelo para toda la vida!! 😊 Le he preguntado que maceta me pondrá, pero me ha dicho que no lo sabe aún, pero que me reserva algo especial!! Yupyyy!! Me ha dicho también que si me porto bien y sigo creciendo me va a poner un armario de floración para mi sola!!.... que suerte!! 😋 Anoche mi jefe me preguntó si no tenía sed, porque dice que consumo mucha agua, le he tenido que explicar que la temperatura de estos días y mi tamaño no necesita más, que por ahora mis raíces crecen libres por los agujeros de la maceta y captan la humedad ambiente. Aun así anoche mi cultivador me regó con un agua templada que me sentó muy bien, además desde ese riego siento unas cosquillas en mis raíces, mi jefe dice que son los Microorganismos que me inoculó y que serán mis eternos ayudantes para el flujo de nutrientes y minerales por todo mi ser. Esta mañana los he conocido!! 😳 son muy, muy pequeños, no los veo, sólo los siento y los escucho 😦, me han dicho que ellos necesitan constantemente la energía que produzco, captada de la luz... el azúcar, porque los MM son diabéticos y no almacenan azucar, si tienen ellos trabajarán día y noche para solubilizar los nutrientes del suelo y pasármelos a mi... no estoy segura de poder hacerlo... soy muy pequeña 😨... le voy a a preguntar al jefe... Ya lo tengo claro!! 😊 vengo de hablar con el jefe y me ha dicho que no me preocupe por el azúcar, el le dará melaza a los MM y también la materia orgánica para que coman y se reproduzcan por millones y mantengan mis raíces muy funcionales para absorber todos los nutrientes que necesito... Yeah, que haría yo sin mi jefe?!! 😁 Hoy estábamos todos contentos, bueno menos el perro de mi jefe, que me ignora y sólo quiere comer y jugar... es un presumido!! Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.
