Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

The Olympia Auto has just entered flowering. The plant has remained quite small, likely due to the intense cold stress (temperatures below 10ºC) it experienced—similar to other autos I'm cultivating this season. Despite its size, I'm impressed by how much it’s stretching in this phase; it just keeps growing. The aroma is still weak but gradually increasing each day. Health: The plant looks healthy and beautiful. It’s a shame that only one plant emerged from the seed pack, but even though I haven’t harvested yet, I’m eager to grow this strain again! Ambient Conditions: This week started off hot (with a minimum of 23ºC and a maximum of 30ºC), but a cold front has now brought temperatures back down (with a minimum of 11ºC and a maximum of 20ºC). Humidity remains quite low, around 30-35%. Training: I haven’t done any training or defoliation on this plant. Fertilization: I applied Ekosil (silica + potassium), another dose of bokashi, and a dose of nitrogen, with one more nitrogen application planned for the end of this week. Pest Control: I'm continuing with Beauveria treatments, and I no longer have issues with the fungus gnats that had appeared earlier. Watering: I’ve been watering the plant very minimally, as the substrate has been staying moist on its own. Looking Forward: From this point on, there’s not much left to do except watch the flowering progress.

Great growth from all the girls this week. Stretched massively. I have done a major defoliation to let more light to bud sights. 95% flowers are in light now. I will do another Small defoliation next week. Dry amended top soil with bat guano, worm castings and bio life. Should be enough to bring them into mid flower. I had a slight fungus knat issue but got some nematodes and they are starting to clear along with sticky traps. I have also taken cuttings from a few of the girls to cross a few of the stronger strains and create my own strain. First time I will be doing this so excited to see how it turns out.

I have a low consume of electricity today i change the light upped 50 watt the next week i started to fertilized. More auto of Dutch passion have more weeks to live for this in this time i prefer dont use any fertilized. I dont have idea the cbdv are strong plant for this i think wait to fiammingo the plant in the future in this time IS very early mi waiting... Next week bye

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Had to switch the ladies to different lights for reasons undisclosed. They handled it very well and are growing vigorously. Lst was easy on them due to the topping a couple weeks ago. First signs of flower are showing as well.

Everything is going good. Some are showing some sort of deficiency . Lowered lights a little bit. Going to start watering every other day. One of the critical thunder autos is like 8 inches tall lol definitely breeding her.

A great replacement strain from Barney's. If you can't find the old exodus UK cheese which is almost impossible these days, this variant gives you everything you want.
