My Permanent Marker plants are looking good. The short and stocky one has turned a crazy shade of purple. It's really wild looking. The other plant is still putting on new growth, so it'll probably be ready in about two weeks. I can't wait to see how the purple one smokes – should be interesting. The past week has been awesome for drying my plants. The weather's been perfect – nice and dry, with just enough breeze to keep things moving. I finally got around to chopping down those two big plants I've been meaning to trim. They're almost ready, just need a little more time to dry out completely. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

Pretty strong plant. Neglected and two rounds of hst. Lets see how she finishes. Only gunna be removing fan leaves here and there for the rest of the grow.

Grew great for a bonsai grow. Just harvested today after a flush and 48 hours of darkness. Now to let it dry. This one has been the second easiest harvest we ever did (back to the Purple Punch), the plant lost many leaves by herself, still pretty easy. she has a strong flavour and we literally cant wait to smoke her.

day 7 Flowering: Hi all . It has been the start of their flowering this week and the initial stages of their stretch period. Time to exploit the burst of growth and set them in position for full light absorbing relaxation. The less stress to get light , the more focus on creating the beauty in flowering hopefully. I took some time to do a clear out of the small scrappy growth low down the stems to focus on the happy growing bud sites higher up. With their shape and size , the flowers would have been within the ball shapes and unable to develop properly. The shape of the plants from the tip spreading is very helpful now. I am able to tuck the really big powerhouse fans , underneath the developing lowers. This supports the lower growth to head higher but also keeps the main stem powered by the very important big fans. As these are autoflowers and able to use the available light through the huge fans , it can only be beneficial to keep them as long as possible while they are not blocking anything. The difference between the strains is noticable more now with the Strawberry Pie wanting to spread her branching more . Tip spreading has kept them smaller but their nature still has them wanting the long node lengths and cluster bud structures as opposed to long donkey di#ks. The other strains have benefited more from it and in particular, the #2 Six Shooter has an amazing amount of hopeful mains all fighting for focus so should be a good example of how tip spreading really works to create productive , squat beasts. Fingers crossed.lol They are still being fed just water with no additional boosts beside the last top dressings. I will be watering again with the biosys tea but they look so happy and green that I wont be adding any other products unless I notice a need. Cal.mag being the exception as I want to avoid the expected deficits from using l.e.d , before it can slow anything down in repair/recovery. The light is covering them all perfectly and with the height still to be lowered after the stretch is done , I know from previous Mars lights, the big solid nugs will appear.... I have used a video to show the past weeks growth rather than the usual pics and hope this will be more interesting than having to scroll pics. I also noticed a few leaf miners among the other plants and suspect we have some migration here too. Not too serious as yet but before it gets too bad , I used a store bought spray ( organic) to hopefully get to grips before they do. Failing this , a good smoke bomb might be used. Seeing as this is my first grow, I’m still learning to read the plant and know what’s going on. Think I’ve developed some fairly advanced leaf septoria. Might not be bad enough to affect the end result, but I’m pretty clueless, so I put up a question about it. Hoping to hear back from more experienced growers about what I’m looking at. Going on week 7 of flower, week 6 if we’re going off of the first pistils, when the breeder recommends 8-9. So I know I’m coming up to the end of things. Cutting back on nutes due to some burnt tips. Not any substantial amount, but put EC on the lower side of the range that GH recommends for its stage in life. Buds smell amazing and seem to be developing great IMO. Had to tie a few down to bring the canopy all to one level again. Didn’t think that sticking my arm down the leaves for 2 seconds worth of tie wrapping would make my arm hair all super sticky for hours. Lol. Every experience is a good learning experience for my first grow.

Still a Mystery… Or Maybe Not? 🤔🌿 Alright, growmies—this “Mystery Autoflower” is keeping me on my toes. The more I observe her, the more convinced I am that she’s no auto at all. At this point, there should be pistils everywhere... but nope, still no sign of preflowers. That’s definitely not typical for an autoflower this far in, and I’m starting to think I might’ve accidentally popped a Red Hot Cookies seed instead. 😅 Well… turns out my so-called "Mistery Autoflower Magic" from Sweet Seeds wasn’t quite what I thought she was. After week after week of no pistils and a stretch that just wouldn’t stop, I had my suspicions—and now it’s confirmed: She’s not an auto at all, but a photoperiodic Red Hot Cookies! 😅 Honestly, I’m not even mad. She’s been growing beautifully, showing strong structure and healthy vigor all along. She did stretch nicely over the past days, which had me thinking bloom was kicking in—but so far, it’s just veg vibes. Still, she’s looking healthy and happy, so I’m not complaining. 💧 Feeding Routine this Week: 🔸 BioBizz Grow, Bloom and Top Max 🔸 CalMag 🔸 Alg-a-Mic 🔸 Silica spray (every 3 days for strong leaves) 🔸 Homebrewed compost tea (2 days after feeding) 🔸 Effective Microorganisms (2 days after that) 🌡️ pH: 6.5 📈 EC: 1200 Let’s see what the next week brings—maybe she’s just fashionably late. Spider mites are getting worse. Also have to harvest soon cause I start travelling next week and I can’t finish and dry them in time. But the trichomes are almost ready
