We selected two phenos—our Sundae Driver #2 and #3—and nurtured them through an exciting, experimental journey. They were fed a balanced blend of Aptus Holland and Plagron nutrients, grown in a rich super soil mix, and guided by the precise control of TrolMaster systems and the steady illumination of Future of Grow and ThinkGrow LEDs. Along the way, we explored advanced techniques—most notably, the Super Crop, which became a highlight of this grow. The Scene This Week Now in full bloom, both girls are thriving under the lights. Their colas are massive—one could easily compare the main stem to the size of my arm. Dense, weighty, and coated with trichomes from tip to base, they’re the very definition of healthy flower formation. The aromas are complex and sweet, a creamy mix that hints at their Sundae heritage. Even from a distance, the frost catches the light in a way that makes you pause and admire. Environmental conditions are holding steady despite the hot season outside. • Room temperature: around 28°C • Humidity: 62% • VPD: approximately 1.3 kPa With the AC doing its best and airflow dialed in through dual 6” carbon-filtered extractions, the girls are comfortable, breathing easily, and continuing to bulk without stress. Feeding & Formula This week, we continue with our refined nutrient mix: • Aptus Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • CalMag Boost: 0.25 ml/L • Plagron PowerBuds: 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation: 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal: 1 ml/L EC hovers around 1.7, and pH remains close to 6.1. The soil, enriched and alive, holds an EC near 2.9, providing a self-sustaining foundation for these late-flower demands. Watering now follows the natural rhythm of the soil, ensuring each feed balances moisture and oxygen at the root zone—key for healthy ripening. Heavy buds are a blessing, but they can easily become a heartbreak if left unsupported. A single snap can cost you a beautiful cola. The last stretch is when your plants give their all, so it’s our job to help them carry that gift safely to harvest.

-11.07.2024 The third week of the vegetative phase starts today. The light has been adjusted again, the values measured with the Photone app: Ppfd = 595-615 DL i= 40-42 the plants were watered with 500ml of water each. -12.07.2024 Just a visual check. -13.07.2024 Just a visual check. -14.07.2024 Visual inspection the soil felt dry, so the plants were watered with 500 ml of water per plant. -15.07.2024 Visual Check the light intensity has been increased measured values with the Photone app: Ppfd = 700 DLi = 50 -16.06.2024 Just a Visual Check. -17.07.2024 Today is the last day of the third vegitation week. the plants look good and are getting „white hairs“ - the pre-flowering starts. A few of the lower leaves have been removed. Both plants were watered with 500ml of water. (3ml Biogrow / liter - 1ml TopMax / liter)

Week 9 veg We are doing well, the ladies are growing quickly, I do believe I need to add a foliar spray to the mix or up the nutrients because we are still short on nitrogen and a bit of magnesium it seems. But its not a massive deficiency so ill just push more nutrients one way or another. The one plant with the genetic issues seems to have wanted split its Main on its own. So apparently i have and auto main plant? XD, i will keep an eye out of herms but it find this genetic issue interesting. I am beyond happy with the way training came out on the ladies. I just need to make sure I keep them all low next batch of seeds. I'm used to the fuckery of aux clones so running seeds was a treat. 2 weeks of veg left about and we flip!

Week 11 Just noticed that my led wasn't level. Lol only took me 80 freaking days to notice 😂 I tried not to defoliate too much. A bit of yellowing, but my ph meter was off a bit but the new growth seems to be healthy again which is nice.I'll prob feed for 1 more week, followed by 2 weeks of just water. I may change that, but that's my plan as of now.

OCTOBER 20 (DAY 24): Week four has begun, and I am now so completely full of questions. I’ve got preflowers on at least 2 of the 3 plants, the terminal nodes (is that right?) on all three are looking... uh... busy... lots of long, skinny growth coming out of the bud sites. I am wondering if this means it’s time to start transitioning to bloom nutes, or if I’m a little early yet. On the subject of bloom nutes..... wtf? There are so many options, and it’s hard to tell what can be used with other things and what products are supposed to be direct competitors. This is definitely going to require some trial and error. I’m also not sure what to do about the lights. Because I’m using LST on some but not all of the plants, one is significantly taller than the others (and thus closer to the lights)... this looks like a grow question. OCTOBER 21 (DAY 25): After dealing with a runaway heat problem in my tent and major height discrepancies between the LST’ed plants and the control plant, I decided to reorganize the tent... again. I’ve got my tiny tent in a nook in my bathroom, and there aren’t any ports for intake fans at the bottom of the tent (just windows), so I had been running a small intake fan shoved right up between one of the mesh intake windows and the wall. That didn’t give a ton of open air for the intake fan to draw from, so I rotated the tent 90 degrees so the intake fan has the open room air to pull from. I also raised the LST’ed plants by about 6” so the canopies of all three plants will sit roughly equal. We’ll see if this works. Τoday I fed the plants again. I’m not sure if I am going to prefer to go the FF Bembe route or the AN Big Bud/Bud Candy/Overdrive route, so I am doing a side-by-side on my LST’ed plants. Plant 3 received Bud Candy today, while plant 1 will get Bembe starting next week. I have only been feeding the plants nutes once a week. I’m wondering if I should step that up or just stick to once a week unless the plants start squawking. Any feedback would be much appreciated. TL;DR: To flower or not to flower... to feed or not to feed... to water or not to water... these are the questions. I think these autos are small enough that I should have gone with the seedling size, but I have some on the way and will report back once I give them a shot and can compare.

Really into the massive stretch now I am having too move the climate control probe and thermostat every day now and these girls will soon cover the WiFi camera too , probably growing around 2 or 3 cm per 24 hours at this stage , " day 4 of week 5 " The tent is filling up nicely but the fbt7 is a clear winner so far , be is my cock up of snapping the main stem and fixing it ? The ftb7 is double the size of all the other 3 plants and is a very nice little bush , the smoothie has been very consistently healthy and vigorous and is around 22cm now and is one I did not lst , the BlackBerry has finally woken up and is now the same height as the others another plant I didn't lst , the c1 started very vigorously and was strong , them week 3 started too show signs of very early flower , she is now is fully fledged flower at week 5 and looking fantastic , and I was lucky enough too get all the side branches out and bend over the main cola too the netting and has made up for in lst what it lacked in size due too the early flowering ,

DSD33 week 4F Here we are at the end of the 4th week of flower, and everything is going perfectly. I defoliated a ton of fan leaves and took away a few sucker shoots, and now I think I need to re arrange the branches in the net for optimal spacing. They are drinking approx 5L each every 4 days, with nutrients. Hello Growmies, Entering the sixth week of flowering with our vibrant Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids by Zamnesia, it's evident that our decision to opt for low-stress training over topping is yielding fruitful results. The plants have gracefully embraced the SCROG network, with a well-distributed canopy that's maximizing both light absorption and airflow, fundamental factors for their sustained well-being. The Watermelon Candy's display of luscious green foliage and resilient stems is a clear indicator of their prosperous journey through the vegetative stage and into flowering. The environment within the tent has been fine-tuned to near perfection during the daylight hours thanks to the Tent-X system. The Prima Klima EC blue fan's anticipated arrival next week is expected to iron out the nighttime VPD inconsistencies, ensuring a consistently optimal environment for the critical flowering stage ahead. Despite being introduced a week later than their tent companions, these F1s are displaying a remarkable growth spurt, currently about 10-14 days ahead in development compared to the photoperiod strains sharing their habitat. It's a testament to their vigorous genetics and the efficacy of our environmental controls and nutrient regimen. The weekly feed includes a meticulously measured concoction of Alga Bloom, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, administered every four days to sustain their accelerated growth. We've encountered our fair share of challenges with equipment integration, but it's the resilient spirit of these Watermelon Candy plants that keeps us motivated. Their rapid development and the advent of dense floral sites suggest we're on the path to an abundant harvest. In the latest images, you can see the substantial pre-flower stretch, with plants #2 and #3 particularly standing out with their robust stature and symmetrical growth. It's a joy to witness the fruits of our labor coming to such a vivid life. As we adjust our PPFD levels from 250-350 to a more intense 450-500, we're steering our lush green sea towards a future of dense, resinous buds, all while ensuring our environmental parameters are tightly regulated. This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

D33 (24/12/2020): First week of flowering. Both officially went into flower 4-5 days ago but I decided to finish the week before starting first flower week. I fed around 3L of water today, they were thirsty. I mixed full recommended dose of nutrients for last week of veg in 1,75 gal. of water. I want to go slow in reintroducing nutrients after 2 flush last week. - temp: 25C - water: approx. 3L per plant, PH6.4. 600 PPM - run off: 900 PPM for Banana Kush and 800 PPM for Glue Gelato - RH: 54% D34 (25/12/2020): Nothing special today except that it's Christmas, everything is going well. RH is higher today since higher temperature where I live but nothing crazy. - temp: 25C - no water - RH: 58% D35 (26/12/2020): I removed leaves under canopy today and fed with a gallon of water + minerals each plant. - temp: 25C - water: approx. 3,75L per plant, PH6.8, 350 PPM - run off: 750 PPM for Banana Kush and 600 PPM for Glue Gelato - RH: 55% D36 (27/12/2020): I readjusted some ties because they are stretching like crazy! The buds are forming and more pistils are showing. - temp: 25C - no water - RH: 53% D37 (28/12/2020): Still readjusting the ties and removed leaves today. The lights are now at 24 inch and plants receive around 495-525 PPFD (38 0000 to 40 000 lux). I'm aiming to go above 600 PPFD in the next week. I will check how they react with more light. - temp: 24C - no water - RH: 54% D38 (29/12/2020): I gave approx. 3.5 L of water per plant. I used 3/4 of the recommended dose for transition week. - temp: 25C - water: approx. 3.5L per plant, PH 6.4, 720 PPM - run off: 900 PPM and PH6.8 for Glue Gelato; 800 PPM and 6.8PH for Banana Kush - RH: 54% D39 (30/12/2020): Removed more leaves under canopy. - temp: 25C - no water - RH: 54%

Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24 - Day28: Happy, healthy growth.

21/4 a beautiful plant, but this time the growth of the branches, had problems turning into each other! until it looks like a single bush !. now it's taking shape, because I cut all the extra leaves and twigs that were blocking the light. I look forward to!

Well its been a fun week, every other day feeds as she's been getting much more thirsty during flower. Buds have been thickening up! One more week needed.
