420Fastbuds FBT2310 Germination Week Time has come yet to start another amazing Tester strain from 420Fastbuds FBT2310. Started germination on 2/7 by soaking the seed in just water for 48hrs then planting it directly in the soil (Roots Organic 707) in a 3gal fabric pot. I spray the top soil with my gallon sprayer keeping it moist for the next week. After 48hrs in the soil we have sprouts that emerged that appear to be healthy and happy. All in all Happy Growing

Flowering Update – Late Flower This week the plants continued to bulk up, and the buds are noticeably denser than before. The trichomes are becoming increasingly cloudy, showing that harvest is getting close. The weather has improved compared to the previous heat wave. Daytime temperatures are around 33°C, while nighttime temperatures have dropped to about 20°C. The larger day/night temperature swing has finally triggered some purple coloration on the Banana Purple plants, which was a pleasant surprise after weeks of waiting. Overall, I’m very happy with how both the naturally grown plants and the LST-trained plants turned out. One interesting observation is the difference between the Sour Jealousy plants: * The natural plant developed fewer but much larger and thicker colas. * The LST plant produced more flowering sites, but the individual buds are noticeably slimmer. This suggests that, at least in my setup with autoflowers and relatively small pots, LST increased the number of buds but didn’t necessarily improve the overall size of each cola. The Banana Purple plants are clearly the most advanced. Most pistils have turned orange/brown, and the trichomes are mostly cloudy. They appear to be about one week away from harvest. The Sour Jealousy plants are slightly behind and will likely need another 1–2 weeks to fully mature. After gradually reducing the flowering nutrients, I decided to stop feeding ATA Terra Max completely on the Banana Purple plants and continue with plain water until harvest. The Sour Jealousy plants will receive one or two light feedings before switching to water only. I also changed my watering routine. Instead of watering daily, I now water only when the pots feel light, allowing the root zone to dry slightly between irrigations. This should improve root oxygenation and avoid unnecessary stress. Overall, despite the extreme heat earlier in flowering and even a hailstorm that damaged several fan leaves, the flowers remained intact and continued developing well. I’m very satisfied with the progress and excited to compare the final yield and quality between the naturally grown plants and the LST-trained ones for both Banana Purple and Sour Jealousy.

I was pretty busy these periods, whith the holidays and work I barely had time to be online. The plants had made good progress, they are in late flower. I hade a PH problem so the plants suffered a bit but nothing serious. They have great buds and great smell. I'm so excited to finish this and test the end result.

Last flowering update, already harvested. Coolest song intro ever .. 😂 They look a bit sad, somehow mix of drought and natural end of life. Was nothing to do but wait for harvest.. or more like convincing my self to do the worst part of growing. I love the smell of cannabis.... this was just cruel and hurtfull. I am so happy I canceled my outdoor plans with this strain, if you have any respect of your neighborhood it's just not possible. 😈 After 1 month my new filter gave up, headache and sick after harvest. Completely off the scale.. sickening. (Perhaps something good because it has enough potential to smell that bad 😂) Likewise stickiness... it was all over the place, my tumble trimmer gave up because it's soooooo gluey the buds stuck together and it's nearly impossible to separate.💀 So ... idk I think bubble hash makes few sense for small batch grower and I did not want to do it ever again.. but I would highly recommend fresh frozen bubble hash. Or a big enough box with some furniture to harvest inside. Then again.. you are not a small batch grower 😂 Anyway, I don't like harvest at all.. so my negative things are probably real good signs for a highly potent product. 😅 The looks were not like I wanted, but nice phenos and 1 (Stan) midway looking. Very fast, could've harvested earlier. High trichome density, which are spreaded everywhere. If you are not going for bubble hash (which I think would be awesome with this strain), I'd recommend go for few buds or just headbuds/SoG.. harvest would be quicker. 😜😹 As I was not sure about the stretch I flipped very fast, as the stretch was midway they could've had one more week of veg to get some height. Luckily this is probably one reason the yield was not too high. Bud sizes are more or less in the same range on one plant. I couldn't reach Stan for proper Lolly and training, but they are all round about ~200g wet, so cutting off some stuff didn't have major impact on the yield, but the reduction really helped to stack up the remaining buds. Harvest update after cure or rosin tests. Otherwise I'd be too lazy for the rest. Do-si-dos received a heavy defoliation, there were a ton of small inner branches starved for light, so they got cut. The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. These have surprised me , not even a spot on them. Wall to wall now , maybe should have went with a total of 7 , but im not complaining . Few of these are already dripping in thc . The two largest ones were topped , I have done a defol on them , the smell is definitely there . I might need a filter in the next few weeks .

Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is growing great. She has been making a lot of progress. I have been keeping up on lst and selective defoliation. She looks like she is just getting ready to start producing her first pistils. Every other day I get her ph and fresh nutrition in her. I will likely cut back on the nitrogen some if I can. She might use a bunch at stretching. She is looking great.
