This week, I continued the LST on each plant everyday. Unfortunately, I broke one branch of the Cashew Kush by pulling too hard on it. Since it was one of the double branches (see last week photo), I'm curious to see if the other smaller branch will now increased its growth to compensate the loss. The growth is good despite some probable nitrogen excess (curled tip + dark green leaves) on the Blackberry Cake and the Cashew Kush. This is not the first time I'm facing this with Sensi Seeds plants in this pre-fertilized soil, but they always turned out fine in the end! I added a bit more water to these two plants to try to eliminate a bit of nitrogen excess. I also increased the watering frequency. I wanted to give some light to the lower branches without defoliating too much, too soon. So, I get the idea of removing only some leaflets on all the plants. I don't know if this technique has a name and if it's useful. Week 8 Day 51 Ladys starting to fat up the buds, a bit slowly this time but it's OK. Lemon Kix is a super smelly one, she stinks like lemon haze with bubblegum. Followed by Trainwreck and Orange Sherbet, really smelly Orange Sherbet disappointed till now, the buds looking really fluffy. I know she's got another 4 good weeks maybe more, but at the same time my last Orange Sherbet looked like a completely another strain. All lady's starting to get hungry, bottom leaves getting yellow and some just fall off. But the top should last to 2-3 weeks more. Cinderella Jack stopped to stretch ( she's huge) and now focused on the bud production. I think she gonna produce some fat big buds. 😁 Day 54 Orangesherbet that's what you get when you don't pay attention to your lady 😕 she got a really bad lockout The pH must be off, gonna see how she responds in the next weeks. That's why the buds are so airy. Gonna water her with 6.5 pH and add some Batguano after that. Purple Punch showing also signs of some Def. But it looks like a normal Nitrogen Def, thats not a big problem, gonna give her some Batguano too. Day 56 Hmm the buds from Lemon Kix didn't fat up till now, I hope they don't produce fluffy buds cause right now it looks like that. Compared to Blue Dream all lady's far behind with the Bud production Orange Sherbet smells amazing good but also she don't fat up. I know this will took another 3-4 more weeks. Purple Punch is very healthy she shows no signs of stress, but she's extremely hungry for potassium, like my last one. Trainwreck looking good but also still behind with the bud structure, when I compare them to my last run, they are really far away from 70 days (germinate to harvest) this gonna go minimum till week 12 😩.

Replaced the dead plants...the male pollens would be collected for future breeding.

The two plants are growing very well! I'm happy with DWC. It's easy to manage and and small enough to fit perfectly also in small growboxes. 😉

They are going amazingly not had any work need as they have done it for me just done some defoliation to them so I could open them up to show of their amazing structure A is growing like a Christmas tree B has split herself at 3rd node and again at the 5th and theirs a new nodes popping up in the middle and it looks like she going to split again C went sideways ways when she started and give herself 3 main head's and now pushing new nodes everywhere from the bottom

Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Fugue State #2, in the black pot is still a bit shell shocked, hopefully it opens up soon. Well both #2 and #3 damped off / shell shocked to death, so there's just one left, c'est la vie. #1 is trucking along well and ready for week 2. Day 46 - Lollipopped all three pearls, I will now wait a week and then send them into flower. Everything is going pretty well with these Ladies.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. For Now I can only say that this strain seems good and tasty, but I need to smoke it first to give a complete review. First Strike: very good effect and taste, but I would like to smoke again later untilshe will be perfectly dry 😉 Now I smoked her several time, even if she is not yet ready she is veryyyy gooood 😋

Welcome back This week i did some more LST as you can see, Gave them water with enzymen and gave them water with nutrients. They grew a little but not that much. I really want to repot them but the outside temperature is still 12-15 degrees at night so i don't want to do that. The plant i didn't want to keep has been outside for a week now, gladly it still grows but not that fast as the other ones so i was right to not put them outside yet. I will keep an eye on the outside plant if it still wants to grow for another 1-2weeks, if she does, i might put all the plants outside and risk it. Why? Because the plants already start to stretch futher away then the size of the pots, i dont like that. Also if they have more space to root, the plants will grow faster and bigger. The color of the leafs look a little light but that because they are in full sun light. They are perfectly green in my opinion and so far no burned tips so my feeding goes well. They start to drink more as well. I will spray them again today when the sun goes down with Canna Cure! I can't say it enough how much i like the product, it keeps insects and molts away and even keeps my leafs nicely green. ps, when i bended the brances after topping a few weeks ago, i didn't kept the upper brance for a few centimeters intact, most of the times i do that( to give it more support) but this time i decided not to, just to see what happens. Well indeed you get some cuts into your brances, but when you are carefull you will be fine and you get really strong brances from it, therefore i like it this way. Enjoy :)

Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Bloom week 1: I don’t really have too many pictures of this plant in veg. I didn’t plan to bloom her, but after some training she just looked pretty good. This plant is huge compared to my other 2. She’s about 6 months old. I’ve only fed this plant about 3 times. I fed her yesterday for the first time in probably about 2 months. The plant looks good considering I’ve give her such little love. Hopefully with regular feeding she will blow up… but not too big for my tent I hope.

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective
