I want that happy face! I have to confess I love watching this cute little plant every day, so before I go to bed I come and say hi and then goodnight! All I have dine so far is water them with water from the rain. Its been raining a lot. ;)

first week of flowering with this very pretty and very good strain from KANNABIASEED the GORILLA KING auto from which she prepares very pretty buds for me by being in a small 3 liter pot because I am not used to making autos and therefore I test myself with a small pot and if all goes well I think that my next session in my boxing will only be auto 4 or 5 phenos in 7 liter pots I will see if it really saves time compared to femenised ,when do you think ? if you have any advice to give me regarding car culture or things to know, I'm interested, don't hesitate to let me know, thank you in advance

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Day 10 I started to use the easy plus supplied by RQS, have noticed in the past few days that my intelligent fan doesn’t seem to be turning off in auto on the settings I have pre-installed, I did do a full tent move about on day 11 so I maybe could of done something then? hope this doesn’t turn into a long term issue, however fat banana is starting to grow nicely 🌱👍 I have a 2x2x5 spider farmer tent with 1 passive inlet vent that is always a 1/4 open My spider farmer intelligent fan is set at 80f and rh @ 60 for veg, I have a 6” fan that was set to go off every 30 minutes for 30 minutes on the hour during daylight hours and once for 30 mins every 90 mins during dark hours, that has changed slowly during the week to a point where yesterday I turned on constant during daylight hours and still at 30 mins every 2 hrs during the night and I am still using the personal mist humidifier that keeps the rh at a nice level anyway during this stage… My Viparspectra xs1500 was set at 22” at the beginning of the week at 60% this has changed throughout the week and is now set at 19” and around 87% My feeding pattern has been feed/water/dry day…repeat at 250ml Lights on 8am Lights off 2am Water/feed time 8:30am/9:30am *update 29th April: I have stopped using the Biobizz products in this grow, after properly reading up on all RQS products supplied and realising I’ve already mixed the easy boost pellets in the soil I’ve no need to use these products…hopefully this hasn’t affected my grow thus far, I don’t see any deficiencies as yet and don’t seem to be in a bad shape, she’s actually the tallest plant so far I’ve had in this stage 🤞

03/25/2021 Day#1 more pics later. More lite bending for shaping, looks good gave 2 liters of banana peel tea supposed to be good pk boost throughout flowering period till 2 weeks before harvest so we will see how it works I will be given her tea once a week till week 6 then plain water till chop!

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

The smell is really strong now she doesnt put on more weight She got flushed 5 days ago and will be harvested in 5 days. EC 0.6 only ripen PH 6.2

Final week flushing with reverse osmosis. So for my first photoperiod run no hermies 🙌👊🙏 I overfed this gal a tad but it's in my notes for next time. I also did not constantly check runoff ph which the ph was low for sometime which I'll stop being lazy and do it properly because it's worth it in the end. Other than a couple minor fixes the training went well and i couldn't be happier. That's all for the week stay lit and keep em popping!!

Dispite having problems and bad conditions she managed to pull through... I am verry happy with the way she is going after all.. She is very tall and the buds are bending the branches... she strangly smells of blueberry... last week of feeding.. hope she goes well... fingers crossed... 🙏

My OG Kush plant is from Royal Queen Seeds, and I know they sometimes get a bad rap, but I've grown their OG Kush before and it was fantastic. This pheno has some awesome leaves and just a really good structure overall. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.
