Hello Diary, Milky Way F1 is truly beautiful, in full bloom and covered in flowers that fill in nicely. It progresses quite quickly considering the fourth week of flowering, the smell is more and more intense. Milky Way F1, like its roommates, reached its maximum height this week, there is no change since the last measurement. Watering has become a little more frequent, I have to water every three days because they drink a lot of water. I continued this week with the addition of nutrients, bio flowering booster and easy bloom tablets. The conditions inside the grow box are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees and the humidity is around 45%. Here's a quick recap of the week. 12/06/2023 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, added all three components from the bio flowering booster, lowered the pH. at 6.0 and with that amount I watered all three plants evenly. 15/06/2023 - Day 47. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water again, inserted one easy bloom tablet, lowered the pH. and again with that amount I watered all three plants on the farm. 17/06/2023 - Day 49. Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

Hab mir ne größere Gießkanne gekauft um den Gießvorgang zu beschleunigen. Fand die Cookie glaub nicht so geil. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher…. Aber es steht die Vermutung dass die runtz zwittert… Hab alle drei Pflanzen 🍭. February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. First off, I never saw any indications of this on the Cream & Cheese specifically, she looks awesome. Anyway, after closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy with my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! 💪 This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍

Takes to LST and any light training like a champ. Very nice lady to have in anyone's garden. A beginners delight. Looks like she's coming into preflower gonna be a small harvest. 27/5/22 Made a new batch for feeds for this week. Brought it down to 810. Added Atlas, goddesslada, fire yields to jungle juice trio. Will give another Epson Salt feed this week also. Had to add PH + as it was only 4.3. Brought up to 6.2 keeping EC at 1.6/800ppm. 28/5/22 I know this is the 2nd round of Epsom Salt. But this one marks the start of a new weekly process I'll be adding. I usually do 2 feeds 2 water feeds mix em up over 8 days. So, for one of them water feeds will now be Epsom Salt. Every 2 weeks Calmag will be added with it instead, or just calmag by itself instead of Epsom. I've heard ppl swear by it and then some not. So, I'll make up my own mind. I'm overal happy with how I've done this grow. I've sat back much more and been very hands off. I think I'm going to scale it back down a lil.. too big for my needs. This 1 will be my shorty and we gonna c how dense we can get the buds with high co2 with negative pressure environment. Ye, I know the exhaust will take away from the co2 but the ambient co2 in the room is fairly high. I have 2 co2 exhale bags going and got my friends co2 meter wasn't home but my partner said he dropped by but couldn't leave it as he was passing through and took a measurement for me. 825 in the tent and 8-850 in the sealed grow room. 29/5/22 Yup, I was right days ago. She has more or less started flowering. 1st 1 to leave the veg stage. Thankfully I'm using jungle juice trio, so no need to flush grow nute, I'm going to even the nutrients ratios out and after a week I'll do 1 part grow to 3 parts bloom and fill micro. With a few Terra Power specials. 31/5/22 Coming to the last week in the 4th. She started flowering around D25 was showing signs she was coming into preflower have a video up to show what to look for to know when to flip to bloom nutrients. If I was running on GROW+BLOOM separate nutrients I'd of flushed with water for 2-3 days before you flip to bloom base nutrients but as these nutrients (jungle juice trio), it's just a case of changing the nutrients ratio. For the 1st wk of pre flower it's recommend you use half and half then 1rd grow to 3 parts bloom so that's 1ml grow to 3ml bloom (these are just ratios not the actual mls that will be used). I have started flushing my other grows that are showing signs of coming into pre flower. I'm still giving the grow&bloom base nutrient La Sirena as this is given through grow and bloom so no need to flush that out. Shes short. The way I want her. I had this 1 set at 30-35cm after wk 2 up until flower and I'll move her close to the light at 20cm as I have high co2. I know you need high PPFD to get the most out of it but the benefits are the same, (been able to withstand a higher temp/ higher RH/ higher PPFD) SO, hoping to get a short nice dense buds from top of canopy right down to the middle, everything below that has been stripped so dense buds throughout is the goal here not so much mass but quality and eye appeal. At 20cm the ppfd will be 11-1200. Not perfect I know but it'll give some sort of better bud quality. The rest are grown nice and big. All plants are 45-59cm just before coming into pre flower there's a few more that are still young so height is still yet to be seen. But the aim of the game is nice dense kosher cake bud. Here we are at the end of the sixth week, friends. I'm starting to feel pessimistic about the challenge of gaining a pound. The buds haven't gained much weight, but we'll see what happens. The indications are 8/9 weeks, so there's still a bit of time.🤞

We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiodic plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering. She is the Blue Cheese, a second generation Dutch strain let's say, traditional but this time in f1 Hybrid version. No update last week sorry got busy. In week 10 of veg they were cruising along and got bushy as can be from the heavy Defoliation. I wanted to give them a chance to really recover unlike usual before doing any more cutting or defoliating. Now we are in week 1 of veg and the single GMO Zkittlez needed nutrients so I gave it 21 ml/g of the A and B, 9 ml/g of Voodoo and Bud Candy and 10 ml/g of Cal-mag plus since I know it's a heavy feeder from growing GMO sherbet in the past. The rest will be getting the listed nutrient mix this week on their next watering. I defoliated them heavy this week again to allow any branches to stretch to the net that want too. I also took off any branches that were dying from being severely shaded, that just would be in the way later on, or were not worth keeping. I added in some green lacewings (eggs as we speak) to keep any pests at bay and prevent any future issues as part of my new organic IPM regimen. Everything looks amazing and I can't wait to see the end result!!

Sep 6: Tropicana Cookies FF is doing great. Maybe not as much flower maturation last week as I expected but we’re just starting week 8 of flowering. So likely the end of September which is fine for the late start on this plant. Sep 7: decided on a final top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. Seems they need a bit more P.

Okay sooooo big big sighhhh! I’ve been dreading making this post so I’m sorry I’m behind 2 weeks. I had to go outta town for 8 days. I had everything set up for my brother to take care of the plants. It was a really hot week the week I was gone and these plants were taking a beating and started to get burnt from the heat! One plant died and I’m super sad about it. But we living and learning out here! I have tried to trim the dead leaves without taking too many fan leaves off so I don’t shock em more. All last week was surviving giving the plants a little over a gallon of water a day! Doing some of the nutrients every day but not all. I like to run water in Between the nutrients. But with coco coir I’m not too sure if it’s needed. “Learning over here” so ya thankfully it’s been cooling down and I’ve learned some new tricks to cool the tent off! I got a air water cooler that’s blowing cold air into the tent and my 6” duct sucking out hot air. Things are looking better! One more week with nutritions then a week of flush and Harvest is what I’m thinking. Any suggestions thoughts or ideas for me! I’d appreciate it!

Safe to say we're heading into flower. I'm pretty close to full strength on the nutrients at this point. Still defoliating and filling in the screen. Plant on the right is slightly behind as far as kicking into flower. Some yellowing browning just starting a tips. I'll change out the water tomorrow (on day 49). Averaging water changes every 12 days. Day 49: Did not change water today, will on day 52 or 53 instead. Decided it could just be the light being too close. Moved it up and did a little lst above the screen. All done removing branches and leaves. Great end to the first week of flower.
