Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Seems I told a lie last week, I'm late one day and I've done videos again cos again 🤥 Its been a good week for bud production regardless of a hiccup this week which shows as cal/mag and nitrogen deficiencies throughout each plant🤒 My ph pen malfunctioned and I ended up feeding them all 4.5 and didn't notice till the leaves told me 🍂 The ph pen has been replaced, amendments made to buffer the root zone and fingers are crossed 💉🤞 Super stinky grow this, going to replace my carbon filter before starting a new one because I caught wiffs of them when I entered my home today. If the flavours match the smells in this tent I'm in for a treat come smoke time.👃⛽🍋🍇 Its that magic time in the tent now where each girls really showing their own characteristics, both the purple punches and the zkittlez are different phenos to their siblings so I'm excited to see what they finish up like🏁 So far mostly good 👍 Thanks for reading 📖 One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

This girl went 110 days from germination. I harvested her on Boxing Day morning, nothing fancy, just cut at the base and hung whole. She’ll be dried for around 10 days at 55%RH - 19*c and then put into jars for curing. She was quite a slow grower throughout, but never gave me any trouble. She was a pleasure to grow from start to finish. Il post an update once she’s dried and had a weeks cure 🌱💚

I am happy to announce a new beginning! This time there will be new genetics and seed banks that I haven't tried so far, so I'm very curious to see how it will turns out!🤞🏻☺️ Also it will be the second round for my beloved Runtz Muffin that i promised to bring it back.😁 Now I just need to wait until these seeds will go for 18 hours in a glass with water and then I will transfer them to the paper towel to make them germinate properly and finalize the process in their pots once the sprout stretches by at least 2-3 cm. ☮️💚 Happy growing and positive vibes to everyone 🙌🏻💚 ⚠️ 16-05-21 UPDATE ⚠️ Today i put these little girls into their 1L pots. So the end of 3 and entering week 4 these girls are a little sad today as been working on finishing their little grow space which hopefully they'll settle into over the next few days. I have tried too upload images but no luck keeps saying resizing no matter where I upload from 🙄 The girls are taking off and I can see the difference in growth allthough they've been unsettled past few days 🌱 Still loving the aptus range and so am I its keeping these girls healthy even the topped girl hasnt really reacted too being topped 🌱👌 I will be doing some hst/lst with the other 2 this week as neglected them slightly as having the fastbuds testers all potted up into new shoes. Holaa, empezaremos este seguimiento desde la 4ªsemana. (ya que lo comencé y no fotografíe desde el principio, servirá para aprender) Son dos esquejes que me regalaron los cuales no estaban identificados. Estamos en invierno en mi país por lo que tengo problemas con la temperatura, ahora cambie mi iluminación led y está aumento la temperatura a 20ºC cuando esta prendida que es algo mas aceptable en comparación a los 16º o máximo 18ºC que se llegaba con el anterior. Ahora falta corregir la temperatura con el led apagado, estoy pensando que haré. Esa será la principal dificultad de este cultivo. Si alguien tiene alguna recomendación será bien recibida!

Ok and here we have the lemon cherries wow they are so sticky and so stinky it's unreal!! Can't wait to try these bad girls out and I'll update you guys on the smoke review and dry bud weight!!

This little lady had some trouble shedding the seed shell, which caused it to skew slightly. I helped take the shell off and she straightened out pretty quickly. Took about 3 days from germination to open up. (temps were a little low)

This week was hard. I have 310 nm lights 4 of them, each 8w. The distance was too little and I fried the plant. It has recovered so much after losing all the fan leaves. Experience is the teacher of life.

Finally a sunny day in the midst of our insanely wet spring. Rain, rain and more rain, and rain in the forecast. The Japanese beetles have shown up, so I’ve made giant canna-condoms to keep the girls safe from the insatiable munchers. The girls look good, one is much smaller than the other, I call her Minnie.

So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

I grew 3 plants 2 grew well but stalled due to water and lighting at back of a cold tent once this was sorted all grew within there height range which is small and compact with my 6.5 liter pot range 8n biobizz all mix with mycorrhizal added. This is my first ever grow and the genetics wowed me i took a lot of info in about autoflowering plants and the 2 main things that run true are pot size and reduce feed as autoFlowering plants need less due to restricted height although I saw amazing growth in 3rd -6 weeks this if you dial in could increase your yields. The plants had a mild floral berry smell during early stages and kept this smell allways through. Once in bloom they grew vigours and buds oozed resin . There colour are truly amazing I have 2 dark plants that changed colours! And 1 tall lilac plant that too on its amazing colour during late Flowering planted in cold weather these came through sweet looking. Final weight on last plant #2 dry buds in sugar leaf I leave on is 12.6 grams there still 2 lower branches I've tried to seed with her hermI pollen

Week#7 Gnomo Auto By Kannabia Week#7 plant stopped stretching this week ending up at 18 inches tall. Her buds are starting to fill in and you can see the thricomes on the buds and leaves.
