Just on harvest day I was summoned on a long quest...around 700 km. will be away for three days. I will update this diary as fast as i"m back. For now just the photos as no time for anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Cleaned up the #10 mother, with some defoliation, and LST! She's getting ready for her adventure outside this summer! Took more clones from the #4 mother, and cleaned her up. Happy growing! :)

Light is at about 900ppfd a few inches below the lowest tops 1/9 - no issues with fan speed at 2! It gets the water moving nicely and I just drop the dry nutes in, mixes it for me and I can easily fine tune PH and test PPM without having to shake and take samples! Huge win. 1/10 - She's getting fatttttt!!! Long time to go but just sayin...my lady in veg needs at least 3 weeks so hopefully I'm not stepping on myself here soon!

More hairs are coming. Everything looks good to me. The temperatures sure are getting high, but the plant is doing well. I'm not sure if the twisted new growth was a problem. The leaves turned out fine.

This week marked the true start of early flower for the outdoor girls. Bud sites began to form across all three plants, with fine white pistils just starting to appear at the tops. The 5-gallon plant showed the earliest transition, while the two 3-gallon pots lagged slightly behind but followed the same pattern by the end of the week. Overall size remained compact — they’re still small, with only modest stretch so far. Color stayed light to medium green, a sign they’re still settling into the bloom phase and pulling nutrients upward. Weather was warm and humid at times, especially after light rain early in the week, so you kept airflow up and sprayed Lost Coast Plant Therapy around Sept 30 and Oct 2 as part of your pest-prevention routine. No new top-dress or compost tea this week; they’re still feeding off previous amendments while roots adjust to flower demand. Week 7 was a quiet transition phase — pistils popping, structure tight, and the first real signs that flowering has begun.

Dropped hours to 17 to get closer to the 15 we will have outside in a few weeks. A week of battles for this tent. Lotta pest activity. Bulb mites and Nematodes (never going to have regular perennial flowers and dahlia bulbs in the tent again), lessons learned. Active pest strategies tried: - listerine / water soak - Neem oil / water soak - Dr. Bronner soap / water soak - worm castings to boost balanced microbial life - insect Frass to provide chitin - diatomaceous earth top dress - mosquito Dunks prior to organic amendments to deal with any eggs/larvae in soil

Everything went smoothly over the past week. The heat is still sticking around, but the Papaya Cookies isn't complaining at all—she’s maintaining those gorgeous, lush green leaves and the small buds are developing quite nicely. To keep things safe from pests, I gave her another round of neem oil this week to ward off any potential thrips and spider mites. On the watering front, keeping the top layers from completely drying out has been a bit of a juggling act due to the hot weather, but we're managing. Following the schedule, I mixed 10ml of Biotabs Bio PK into 1 liter of tap water and gave her a nice feed. She's cruising along wonderfully!

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Made a time laps of the girls first 28 days.

Growing much better then expected unter a 100W LED. Think they will start to flower in 5 to 7 Days.

Date: 30.09.2024 So the green gelato is doing fine inside shes kinda starting to turn purplish red on some parts of her buds. The 2 Lemon Cherrys are still outside Im starting to lose hope for the 2 girls but fck it hope will still get smth out. Date: 04.10.2024 Sooo I think that the gelato is going to get chopped down in the next 2-3 weeks. The 2 Lemon Cherrys aint getting any where with the weather atm so I think im just gone give them a few more weeks and hopefully this strain will be good enough for a bit of rosin or IceOLator

They both look good so I will keep them all. They were transplanted into 9L airpots and do really enjoy the QuantumBoards. I built a sort of table to collect the runoff, this will allow me to water the babies automatically in a near future. Stay tuned!

This week I've started flush, did a Chem change out and using flawless finish for flush. I'm a little disappointed with the grow due to no adequate light towards the bottom so it looks like I have a lot of popcorn nugs. Next grow I will try mainlining and have multiple stems really lolipopped. Maybe introduce some co² .
