Our Rainbow Sherbet has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well. Unlike the other plants I cut at the second internode to create the mainfold. This is a smart choice because autoflowering plants flower more or less at the 5th / 6th internode, if you have to do topping it is better to start as soon as possible to delay flowering as much as possible. Another reason for topping / mainfold at the second internode is that the plant is lower and you can work the mini brunches much better. In fact here we managed to create a T-minlining. In the sense that the mini brunches form a perfect 90 degree T with the main stem which is not easy at all. To do this you have to use the arches with the wire it is much more complicated and the cut at the second internode helps a lot. So topping at the second internode, mainfold and then continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way I left perhaps too much stuff here. However, for better or worse, everything that can see a fair amount of light enough to flower well is left. The plant is a specimen with a medium internodal distance and I managed to work it reasonably well. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. Finally, 25 weeks i believe... Mold, mildew, bud rot, rain, humidity, crazy wind, frost. Somehow these girls turned out just fine and I am so proud of the end result. I am late posting, everything is pretty much all cured up and ready to smoke. Just finished making some stocking-stuffer jars for friends and family for Christmas. It was interesting to see the different phenotypes from each plant. One was named Average Girl, medium size, medium height. Then there was Big Bitch. She was the tallest and had the skinniest nugs. Next was Dolly.. She had the fattest cones of the 4.. a little shorter than Average Girl. And last was Runt... She was about 2 weeks behind her sisters and about a foot shorter, but she did not get any mold or mildew, and her buds were ginormous. I let her go an extra 2-3 weeks later than her sisters, bringing her into the garage every night at 7 pm, and then waking up at 7 am to put her outside. By far, my favorite plant was Runty. She finished up so nice. Overall smell is Kushy blueberry diesel cat piss with a hint of citrus. Wouldn't grow this strain again just because it did not handle the weather well, and I like a kushier final product, on the taste and nose. That being said, I am a very happy guy right now. I purchased these seeds along with 100+ others (individual seeds, not packs) in late 2006 and early 2007 by sending Western Union money orders to the UK in birthday cards along with my seed order. My only recourse was crossing my fingers and hoping that my seeds would eventually arrive. What I found was that the “Buy it Now” option on Seedbay turned out to be pretty reliable. They used to have a Nirvana 4 pack deal for a very reasonable price ($50, I think). European seed producers at the time were very guarded with the lineage in their crosses, but the common thought was that Nirvana was taking known elite Dutch cultivars of the time and breeding them with a Skunk #1 male and producing ‘knock offs’. AK-48 was AK-47xSk1, Blue Mystic = Blueberry x Sk1, Bubblicious = Bubble GumxSk1, Jock Horror = Jack x Sk1. The point being, there ended up being a lot of variation in packs, but also some keepers were there to be found. I did some growing at that time, but ended up buying a ton of seeds that I never used. As a daily user for almost 30 years now, self sufficiency made/makes a lot of sense. A couple years ago I decided to get back into growing my own herb after being disappointed and underwhelmed with the quality of flower from the dispensaries.

Harvest update on flowering day 75 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey everyone ☺️👍. Today there is a short update of the harvest before the last update after the fermentation comes 😀👍. Both phenotypes were very easy to cut due to their very good bud to leaf ratio ☺️. I already like both phenotypes in terms of smell, although I have to say that Phenotype 1 smells much better and fruity 😍. Was trimmed clean by hand with disinfected scissors :-). Before harvest, both plants were given complete darkness for 48 hours. The trichomes are 70% milky and 30% amber 😍. You can now dry for 7-12 days on the net at 62% humidity. Then it goes for another 12-17 weeks in the glasses with 62% boveda packs which are then changed to 58% boveda packs :-). Until then and for the final harvest update, I wish you all a lot of fun. 31-08-2019 Another glorious week with the new system, getting the RO water is less a challenge than the Soil or CoCo with previous grows and soo much better than feedings of 2 or more gallons every other day. She seems to be coming out of the shock mode as some stems are changing back to green from deep purple. Some new growth has started to appear so that's a good sign 😎 Nutrition will be doubled on the next Nutrition Change out in 7 days. So far! All variables are under control. I like the fact I can turn the tap and check accurately and adjust if needed unlike soil unless you are using a soil kit all the time. I have notice a few drips coming out of the unit but not much to be concerned with. Pump work 15 min intervals pumping Nutritional spray. 2 different Air flows 1) in solution with air stone and 2) open wand spray inside directed at the roots to provide additional oxygen.

Das Umtopfen hat sie überhaupt nicht gestört, da das sehr früh passiert ist und so noch keinerlei Wurzeln davon betroffen waren. Gab also keine Stresssituation, im Gegenteil, jetzt kann sie sich schön entfalten...
