Muy buenos humos a tod@s… Las plantas avanzan bien pero no como nos esperábamos. Alguna de ellas nos está dando problemitas por falta de agua o de nutrientes, no queremos excedernos debido a experiencias pasadas pero tememos quedarnos cortos. En el último riego no hemos aumentado los nutrientes si no que hemos vuelto a las bases anteriores ya que conocemos cómo funcionan y queremos ver cómo responden. No sabemos el porqué pero hay dosa que está como cogollando y eso es curioso, una fast de sweet, pero como hemos dicho en semanas anteriores no somos expertos solo queremos ver crecer las plantas y es algo que nos gusta mucho pero cada planta es un mundo y reacciona de distinta manera aunque llevemos el control de riegos y de más, cada una es diferente, y eso es muy bueno… 😎 Los riegos están siendo estables y hemos aumentado la cantidad de agua, pasando de 300ml a 350 ml, debido a la demanda de las plantas. El agua la estamos manteniendo siempre a un pH de 6,0. En general estamos contentos con la evolución. Pero pendientes de ver su evolución para controlarlas y mejorarlas. So I made just a little Coco and cleaned it along with perlite. They were both disgusting and dirty. I bought cheap brand. You get what u pay for I guess. It was only a little. This grow is going to go a little extra long till I finish the girls that are in tent now.I have another good size tent put away but trying to stay away from using HPS . I'm only growing LED to save some cash . Yet it's kinda good to have long veg to get the girls nice and mature for there gorgeous flowers.. Let's see what happens we never know.Well blessings on all u grow my fellow growers. JULY 22,2022: WELL SHE DOING GOOD. Im impatiently waiting for when I let these girls loose in grow tent. I'm having to slow processing because of two plants I started earlyer. One was a clone,a BOMB clone from JJ GARDEN SUPPLIES. This MACARON going to be beautiful ❤️ as long as I give her a top notch living area. She will grow very well if I set up a nice feeding schedule after study of others grows and plants genetics . Read what seed bank says and the dos and don't. I sometimes go out the box with my special mixed up stuff. It's so fun and the coolest there is only one of you. You are ONE OF A KIND!! Day 15 - Starting week 3 and all is good and seems to be on track. Will up the water intake just a tad and will start giving her a light feeding of Trchnaflora nutrients this week. Gave her a small amount of plain pH’d water today and a foliar spray. Day 16 - She’s still coming along nicely and gave her her first feeding of nutes today. Only went about a quarter the suggested dosage and only about a cup and a half watered around the base. I’ll keep an eye on her to make sure she takes everything in ok. Day 17 - Had to give her a bit more water today, the soil was already dry according to the soil meter. She took well to it yesterday so she’s definitely not overwatered so should be good today. Day 18 - Nothing new today, just some updated pictures and checked to see how much height she gain and very minimal right now, about 1/8 of an inch bit looking nice and heathy. Her “lower” growth is starting to grow a bit but still seems a bit early to start some LST, will probably wait until next week or so. Day 20 - Almost the end of week 3 and she’s doing great. Gave her about 200ML of plain pH’d water today and I’ve notice she always droops a bit after giving her some but picks right up after a couple hours but will still keep an eye on her to make sure it wasn’t too much. Other than that, she still somewhat short but her lower growth is coming up pretty good so want to start some LST soon. Day 21 - The end of week 3 and decided to start LST. She’s starting to branch out nicely so wanted to get as much light to the other branches as I possibly could. She’s good on water for a few days but did give her a light mist.

☀️ // Day 28 🌱 Damn, this plant made unreal progress in the last week. Kinda ridiculous, considering her rough start. I topped her last thursday, on day 24 of veg. She responded very, very well with an instant boost of the side branches. Her illness is also gone, all leafs are looking more healthy than I have ever seen in person. Now the soil seems to have stabilized itself and the BioTabs nutrients are kicking in. Beautiful to look at. Her fan leafs are also the biggest ones ever for me and with no signs of any nutrient related stress. I still removed them to boost light penetration to the side branches. This time it really broke my heart tho, because they were just the most beautiful leafs ever. Really loved the last week and I am excited again for the future of this beautiful plant. This time, I gave her 2 more branches. So I topped one node higher and try to lollipop pretty nicely to just have 8 main branches with no more sides what so ever. Just 8 branches of big buds, that's the goal. I watered her with another 2L on day 24, too. But she hasn't gotten anything since then because I pre-watered her on that day. The soil was not dry from the watering on day 22 but I was on vacation for 2 days. I wanted to make sure that she does not dry out. I will wait now one more day and feed her tomorrow, on day 29 with 3L. That makes a total of 5L since last weekly update. 💦 Watering: 5 L with pH = 6.5 💊 Fertilizer: Just water with epsom salt 💡 Light: 450 PPFD at 70%

This girl was transplanted into a 5 gallon…so far she is stable and loving it.

Alright folks! We are running on aprox Day30 into the grow! The tallest plant almost stands up 18+ inches! Shes growing good, I do have one plant that is being all funny and its showing me excessive signs of nutes. Added Calmag feeding @ 3mL/Gal and watered each plant about 2L each. Pots were dryish, been 8 days since the last watering. (i think its a bit too long for airpots, but plants seem to be ok) This week just adjusted some of the LST ties so the plant can stretch a bit. Also did a very light defoliation (removing dead leaves) and allot of tucking. I replaced the Vivosun Osc Fan due to a reddit post i saw of one being burnt to a crisp, replaced them with the HoneyWell turbo force fans. So far so good. Also moved one of the main fans to the side of the tent trying to setup a cross draft air circ. I have also noticed that the plant is now in pre-flowering and some very nice aromas coming from the plant. (green/Citrus/Sweet) notes. It quite pleasant to be in the tent! :)

Overall this was a good second grow. The initial defoliation was key in getting the nice density I missed out on last time. These plants went through the bloom cycle using a reservoir (5 gallon bucket) and drip irrigation system exclusively. Once I got the correct timing done for the watering, this setup was really great; I was able to go about 1-2 weeks between water refills, so it was easy leave for a couple of short stints with no negative effects on the plants. The one major thing I'd like to work on for next time is the drying process. I'm not sure if I cut the branches too small, if the room was just too dry, or if I just let them go too long (I had to leave for 9 days, and they were drying the whole time). While the curing has helped them get a little moisture back, the actual drying left the buds pretty crispy.

Happy 4:20 everyone! 🙌 I hope everyone's doing well and please remember to stay safe! The buds in my plant are getting bigger! Two of the side branches of Pistachio could not hold the weight of the buds (you can see when they fall on the timelapse!) so I had to "hang" them to the tent, yikes! 👽 I also increased the amount of Silver PK by 0.5 but I believe the PPM was a little too high, so next week I'll try lowering the dose of CalMax to see if that helps. Some of the trichomes on the leafs are starting to turn ambar (while the rest of the plant are transparent or very milky) so I suppose the girls are getting there! They need a liiiiittle more time since there are still some immature hairs, specially on Matcha. The leaves of Pistachio are also turning lighter in color and I've been removing them everytime one pops up. Anyway, see you all in my next update! 👍

Sorry for not updating the diary in a while, I have been very busy with work, and also I had some issues with the grow so there wasn’t much to show honestly. First, my plant was having nitrogen deficiency I believe and then I burned her a bit by giving her too many nutrients at once (I know what a beginner mistake huh🙈) But after all this, I cut her yellow leaves off and she has been really well for the past week. In these past few weeks, I have learned so much about growing after making so many mistakes so that has only been a good thing. Even after all these troubles, looks like she will produce some really nice buds, some of the buds are already pretty big and are just growing and growing every day. Please let me know what you think how far away we are from harvesting?
