This week went well, she stopped stretching on Day 47 and I transitioned to flowering nutes. I finally decided to set up another reservoir, so I will now have one for veg and flower nutrients, with a valve that I can easily switch between either reservoir for either plant. Not much left to do for this one, just sit back and hope that the buds get nice and fat. She is still loving this new Mars Hydro EC 3000, and excited to see what happens over the next few weeks. Plants are filling out nicely. Thick crystal production and smells very sweet and fruity in the tent as soon as you crack the zipper. Can't wait to see if we get some fading.

Kings juice , amazing strain flavors 10/10 , great without curing aswell as soon as it dried I started smoking it and left abit to dry final yield was 71 grams per plant my light was kind of ass . I was using blurples but still the quality of the harvest was really good

I did one of the last defoliations. the smells are starting to appear for some, the ones that struck me are: - code red #1 and #2: strawberry and cream terps.. a bit like strawberry milk! it's crazy - B45: citrus and bug terps.. on a background of exotic fruit and gas! it's incredible - LA vanilla cake: vanilla ice cream terps - Cherry gar see ya #4 clone: a puree of exotic fruits, especially mango and pineapple.. I'm a fan my two papayas have herm, I found some bananas.. I really don't understand, they are in the perfect ecosystem!! 31/1 So yes I've had some trouble keep this lady under control, she keep forcing again LST so to give a better light compensation at the lower branches I've cut a top leaf, now the canopy look much more uniform hope she gonna react and respond well, we'll see in the next days 4/4 So we had an amazing week, the runtz improves a lot and start to produce many withe pistils, it's gonna be the last week of vegetation so from now on i was thinking to add an extra light, the low branches are streching out and the top cola it's incrementing his yield, hope to see new nice improvement btw Happy easter!

So, this week I cut phosphorous intake in half, and did a small cleanup job, removing some leaves. Plants look really healthy, except I would've expected they showed nitrogen deficiency signs since then, which suggest soil might be keeping some nutrients. Not sure if that's good or bad (certainly not a real issue tho). I started to flush yesterday; we'll see how it goes for the next few days. I already see a few amber trichomes, so harvest is either for end of week or next one. I'll have to travel a few days next week-end, so I try to sequence everything the best I can :) Also, I just heard about stem splitting, which doesn't seem to be a common technique among us; I'm not planning to do this to my plants (at least not yet), but I'd like to have your opinion on that; anyone tried ? Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

Plant #1 (bushy, lanky pheno, skinny buds absolutely COVERED in trichs) Harvested at 56 days or exactly 8 weeks from 12/12 flip. Had a good 75-80% cloudy, 10% amber, and a few clear trichs. Dried at 48-59% RH, 3 days hanging/ rack drying and was dry enough for me to put into jars (few hours open, few hours closed) early tester smoke was phenomenal! Super heady high, lasted a good 2-3 hours for me and I am an all day dab and flower smoker! That's saying something to me! I cant wait to smoke her once it cures a bit more, super excited! Smell is not too overpowering, smells very floral and earthy, complete opposite of plant #2 (garlic-y, funky, cookie heavy smell 🤤👅 Total weights; Plant #1- 66.2g Plant #2- 65g
