~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying' and remains the 'Frost Queen' in the run she is a VERY happy girl! The #2 pheno, while different from her sister, is looking gorgeous and starting to really ramp up her trichome production! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic with both looking amazing with a generous coating of trichomes covering their flowers, especially on the #1 phenotype and both have developed a funky sweet, creamy aroma! Hola al mundo mundial.  De nuevo por aquí con nuevo seguimiento de mi humilde cultivo exterior.   Pasado el solsticio de verano. Semillas en agua de osmosis 46 horas , luego  entre servilletas unas 29 horas más y al sustrato, un sustrato light-Mix .  Segundo fué enterrar las semillas en el sustrato con precaución y ponerlo todo bajo unos fluorescentes de 150W 4000K 18/06h. Antes de pasarlas a exterior me gusta tenerlas unos dias en interior, no muchos , entre 15-20 dias. Me gusta que salgan a ver el mundo ya con cierta madurez.

While lacking in yield, the effects are very nice, a lovely sativa. Smells like equal parts mint and pine! Inhale is quite minty which is quite delicious and similar to Girl Scout cookies

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur dreizehntenWoche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Diese Woche halte ich es mal wieder etwas kürzer😄. Ich will mich hier ja nicht die ganz die ganze zeit beschweren aber das Wetter könnte echt n bisschen mehr mitspielen 😅. Die letzten Tage hatten wir. Von Niesel regen bis zu Monsun artigen Verhältnissen alles gehabt. Die Damen haben diese wiedersagen Verhältnisse gut weggesteckt und stehen in voller Pracht. Allerdings haben sie nicht übermäßig an höhe zugelegt was ich ihnen angesichts der Wetterlage auch nicht übel nehmen kann. Aber was ist die Woche geschehen? Ich habe den Pflanzen eine kleine Hormonkur in Form der im letzten Bericht angesetzten Jauche gegönnt. Dies besteht aus: 5l Wasser (in meinem Fall habe ich destilliertes verwendet ist aber eigentlich egal) 75g Alfalfa 75g Seegras 20g Melasse/Lab Mischung Das ganze in einen Behalte gegeben und dann mit offen vergären lassen. Da die verwendeten Milchsäurebakterien sich anaerob vermehren, also ohne zugäbe von Sauerstoff wie beim AACT, werdende sich keinen sprudelstein. Die Jauche wird einmal am Tag mit geschlossenem Deckel geschüttelt.Wichtig ist zu erwähnen das die Jauche über die zeit immer mehr an Potenz gewinnt da die Milchsäurebakterien immer mehr Material zersetzen. Dies ist zu bedenken wenn man die Jauche verdünnt. Die fertige Jauche ist eine absolutes Monster im garten und bringt eine reihe an benefits für die Pflanzen. Unter anderem: +verbesserung der Bodenbeschaffenheit +Erhöhung de Stresstoleranz +förderung des Wachstums durch phytohormone +erhöhen die diversität an Mikroorganismen +Verbessern die Phosphoraufnahme durch die bessere aufspaltung im Boden +untedrückung von Schadorganismen eine gute und bereits Pflanzenverfügbare Silikatquelle Und und und … Die Jauche habe ich einerseits im Verhältnis 1:20 gespritzt hierbei ist darauf zu achten das man dies eine Stunde vor Sonnenaufgang erledigt um Verbrennungen Vorzubeugen und den Bakterien zeit zu geben einen film auf den Blättern zu bilden welcher auch die Ansiedlung von Pilzen erschwert (Mehltau etc.). Am nächsten Tag habe ich die Jauche dann noch im Verhältnis 1:10 gegossen um wirklich alle bennefits mitzunehmen . Die Pflanzen haben das Treatment gut aufgenommen und wirken bereits etwas vitaler. Es gibt auch einen neuen Liebling im Garten: Die bitter Orange hat sich wirklich gemacht und ein robb ein an den Stängeln (nicht dass das immer aussagekräftig wäre) ist wirklich vielversprechend. Mit dem im letzten Bericht angekündigten lollipoppen warte ich doch noch etwas das ich mit bei dem eine oder anderen unteren trieb nicht sicher bin ob er sich nicht doch noch macht . Das alles wird sich dann in den nächsten ein bis zwei Wochen entscheiden. Und zu guter letzt.. Habe ich den Bio Bloom in Form eines Top-dress eingearbeitet, da wir uns doch langsam aber sicher in Richtung Blüte bewegen und das Bodenlöeben diesen erst Pflanzenverfügbar machen muss. Durch das aufstreuen hat sich ein leichter Pilzfilm gebildet. Dies ist aber kein schlechtes Zeichen und wurde auch son in der akungsbeilage beschrieben. La cantidad de agua cada 48h entre riegos no cambia, y por supuesto controlando el Ph entre riegos alrededor de 6.5 - 6.2. Ya se ven bien sanas estas 5 cereal milk, tienen un color y una salud espectacular, y ya están desprendiendo buenos aromas, vemos como han madurado las flores, ya estallaron. Ya llevamos 2 semanas solo con agua, les daré machete ya en que acabe secar la maceta. Una semana bastante tranquila. Ni bichos ni carencias preocupantes, todo en orden. Así empezaba la semana si, no se veía nada hasta que ..... Y así se termina con todas mis ilusiones , visto lo visto no me arriesgo a perder mucho más y aun faltándoles bien bien 15-20 dias voy a cortar . Prefiero tricomas cristalinos y poca cantidad a tener que deshacerme de la mitad por la botritis.

week 12: I harvested plant #1.

The girl is getting lighter little by little, but at the same time her flowers are getting fuller :) very aromatic variety!!! She drinks 3 liters every other day, today I increased the light efficiency to 85%. She looks beautiful to me :) good luck everyone :).

Englischversion below Deutsch: Tag 29 Veg: Alle 2 Tage wird das LST wiederholt. Die meisten Triebe haben den Rand des Topes erreicht. Es sind im schnitt nun 16 Haupttriebe pro Pflanze. Zurückliegende Nodien werden beim LST entfernt - so verschwendet die Pflanze keine Energie in die Produktion von Biomasse die ohnehin weggeschnitten wird. Durch Unachtsamkeit und zu starkes LST sind mittlerweile 5 Triebe gebrochen (ca 1,6 Triebe pro Pflanze). Wie schon letze Woche angemerkt - eignen sich nicht alle Triebe zum Toppen. Es muss sich täglich die Struktur der Pflanze angeschaut werden und entsprechend entschieden werden. Tag 31 Veg: Der Plan läuft in die Richtung, die Damen am Anfang der Woche 6 in die Großen 40L zu setzen und dann den SOG zu starten. Heute war wider LST dran. Da ich genug Haupttriebe habe - werde ich vorerst nicht weiter Toppen (Sollte sich ein Trieb als äußerst potent erweisen, wird nochmal über ein Topping nachgedacht. Das Große Zeit 120x60x200 ist bereits aufgebaut und das Drainsystem installiert (Abwasser fließt direkt aus dem Zelt raus - präventiv gegen Trauermücken und andere Schädlinge die sich bei stehendem Wasser einnisten) Tag 33 Veg: Die Damen stehen nun in 40 Litertöpfen aus 80% AllMix und 20% Wurmerde. Angegossen mit ca 10L pro Topf (also in etwa 25% des Topfvolumen). Um Trockenstellen im Substrat zu vermeiden, habe ich bereits beim mischen des Substrats Wasser beigefügt. Bis das sich das Klima im Zelt eingestellt hat, dauert es etwas - daher überprüfe ich regelmäßig RLF und Temp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- English: Day 29 – Vegetative Phase: LST is repeated every two days. Most shoots have reached the edge of the pot. On average, there are now 16 main shoots per plant. Lagging nodes are removed during LST so that the plant does not waste energy producing biomass that would be removed later anyway. Due to inattention and overly aggressive LST, a total of five shoots have broken so far (approximately 1.6 shoots per plant). As already noted last week, not all shoots are suitable for topping. The plant structure must be assessed daily, and decisions should be made accordingly. Day 31 – Vegetative Phase: The plan is moving toward transplanting the plants into the large 40-liter pots at the beginning of week 6 and then starting the SOG. Today, LST was performed again. Since there are already enough main shoots, no further topping is planned for now. If a shoot proves to be exceptionally vigorous, additional topping may be reconsidered. The large tent (120 × 60 × 200 cm) is already set up, and the drainage system has been installed. Wastewater is drained directly out of the tent as a preventive measure against fungus gnats and other pests that tend to establish themselves in standing water. Day 33 – Vegetative Phase: The plants are now placed in 40-liter pots filled with a substrate consisting of 80% All-Mix and 20% worm compost. Each pot was watered with approximately 10 liters, corresponding to about 25% of the total pot volume. To avoid dry spots within the substrate, water was already added during the mixing process. It takes some time for the tent climate to stabilize after transplanting; therefore, relative humidity and temperature are monitored regularly.
