This week about day 46 or so I did a heavy defoliation and some branch bending/LST to get more light to the newly forming bud sites as well as to even out the canopy a little more. She is requesting a little more frequent watering about every 2-3 days and I go until I see run off and I let the run off sit for about 8-12 hrs to allow the medium to absorb as much as it wants then dump off the remaining. I am starting to notice a slight smell now that the flowing has started it’s very earthy and kind of like fresh grass. After adding the Dr earth last week I have not seen any more yellowing of my leaves which is a huge relief. At this point I’m going to be as hands off as I can some simple fan leaf tucking and maybe some branch bending to keep the smaller bud sites open to light as they seem to be swallowed up after a day or two and the fan leaves raise back up. I would like to find Dr earth bloom to add as a top dress either this week or next if I can find it just to give it a little more of a boost. I’m trying to keep this grow as organic as possible and probably will continue to be my niche for every grow going forward until I have it perfectly dialed in. I’m not seeing much more of a stretch and assume this plant will be a little stalky girl I’m hoping the main colas fill out decently and I’m hoping by the next grow I have a better light set up that may help my production of bud sites when she flips to flower. I also plan to start a more detailed journal at home that specifies what days into the grow I do what for better accuracy and to improve future grows. Had to ad in some more support. The girls are getting heavy. One of the buds took some heat damage 💔 😢 but all is good. Only got 3 feedings in with the overdrive and ran out. Funds are low so that's it. See how she grows lol.

1/14: All 3 are looking great! This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. I fed her some warm tea with a little bit of molasses bat Guano and fish fertilizer (N) The buds are still green, so it’s safe to say she is healthy. My last mistake was eliminating nitrogen for the first two weeks of Flowering… her smell is still amazing.

Looking for optimal led height. RQS' Northern Lights auto and Diesel auto look very sophisticated and detailed. They are standing in the middle. Rest of the plants are auto lemon Hazes and they have may varieties. Two are growing very fast and two are stunted. At least one more week of indoor growing before going outside in a bigger pot.

Topped soil with layer of aquarium rock. Treated rather dry pot to 3:1 tap water:hydrogen peroxide mix, two quarts. sprayed 3:1 mix around/in plant, doused areas of activity in rock/soil with vinegar. Classic overwatering-led-to-fungus-gnats! pot placed on riser, towel sitting underneath to capture/monitor runoff. two days after 3:1 fed pot two quarts of water with added general hydroponics 1/2/3. kept tent dry with towel replacements, idea was to saturate soil with nutrient rich water after the peroxide flush. brutal. plant is not happy.

Well, it's been three weeks since the last visit to the site, and I have to say that the girls have grown significantly in size! Defoliation has proven beneficial for them! It's also clear how well Plagron bat guano is working. As you can see, the plants have already begun to flower and gain mass. I want to note that the Fast Version from Sweet Seeds really started flowering earlier than the regular versions, giving me a two-week head start. This gives hope to avoid mold during harvest. Overall, I am very pleased! I'm considering adding Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients to enhance sugar production in the flowers and make them taste better!

9/21 No video uploads so no update 9/22 Week 10 update... finally Looks good but going to add more Phos due to some red stems showing upping to 3ml/g 9/23 Reducing Bloom nuets @10% a day for a couple, down to the 80% mark now Add Soul Peak PK to mix as well as Koolbloom need to use up the Peak and we want to see if it brings anything special. Be in flush within 7-10 days on all but the sativa FF2 Vids up 9/24 After looking at things this morning have decided to start moving the FFT9 and FFT11 to flush. Begin slowly cutting Bloom nuets tomorrow for those two so we can start flush at week's end. 9/25 Feed is changing as we move her into flush.
