It’s been a good week. The buds are starting to form. I will be adding an additional light soon to provide more of a red spectrum of light to the tent. I’ve been watering one day neutrients, one day pH water and one day nothing. The plants appear very happy and I’m looking forward to the upcoming weeks!

Buds are getting fatter by the day swapped the to front plants round and put the short bushy one onto a water drum to raise it to the same height of the other two so i could raise the light more

Not an overly impressive strain and I would say she was not that hard to grow. If I even grew this one again I would let it go naturally with some LST. Wanted more grape flavours but they don't really come through in the smoke. There's a bit of a sharp fruity smell that's sort of piney with a hint of fuel at the end. The smoke is not too flavourful in my opinion but that just means I didn't grow it well. Super tight nugs so be careful with humidity as stated above. Also she's a bit of a light feeder so be careful with your nutes. As you can see I burnt her tips and over fed her a lot. Not a bad yield though! I've only really smoked the lowers on this one so far so that gave me a bit of a racey high, just slightly racey. I would accredit that to the lowers not being mature enough at chop. The plant is super dense and since I mainlined it the lowers didn't receive enough light. I tried to let the lowers mature more but the plant stopped maturing when I chopped the tops, this caused stress and the plant just shut down basically. Not sure if I would grow Blimburn's GDP again until I grow the real GDP.

Welcome to week 12 and finally the last week of my grow diary. As predicted, the weather has taken a turn for the worse, so I've decided to harvest. If the weather had been better, I would have given it another 1.5 to 2 weeks, but unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about that. The outdoor season has therefore come to an early end. It would be great to live in a place where it works all year round without any problems. A brief summary of Sour Jealousy: This strain is simply fantastic. Super easy to grow. Apart from a minor incident with mildew, I had no problems. The citrusy, creamy terpenes are right up my alley, and I hope the effect is too. In the end, the plant grew bigger than I had imagined, but I was able to see from other diaries how the plant would develop. Chubbs Sour Jealousy was even bigger. This strain will definitely end up in my indoor tent again so I can get the max potential out of it. See you next week for the conclusion of the diary!

Hi guys, I just let them go, free growing taking care and adapting temperature the best I can. Nutrients I had a bit more and just the minimum dosage of Cal-Mag. I AM happy and they look too.

Tricky week. I've over complicated things by trying to incorporate CO2 into the grow. The main problem is the Airbomz unit is crap! 😂The timer seems to release CO2 at random intervals...I kept an eye on it and it sprayed anywhere between 1hr20 and 1hr50 with no kind of pattern...definitely not the regular 2hr interval I had selected. I'm switching to a mushroom bag, which will sit by my intake vent and flood the tent with CO2 night and day :) A much cheaper and simpler option! Advantage of this is that I can keep things simple with my ventilation. I've been switching on and off to allow CO2 to absorb, and the result is huge spikes in temp and humidity. I'm now extracting 24hrs a day and switching the intake fan on and off with the lights, and my temp and humidity has stabilised. However I'm still up at 70% all day and night....which seems a bit high! I'll have to keep an eye on it.

I kno this update is late and I'll be turning around doing week 10 tommorrow looks like it's gone take 13 weeks for her my next grow s I'm upgrading my led to a 900w

They are growing really well. Added a humidifier at day 9. I have a seedling in rockwool still it is growing super slow. Root still not sticking out even tho it have been in the cube for 7 days now. Im feeding very light 40% strenght. I see how light green the leafs are and thats what im going for. I will up the strenght abit the following days. I been watering almost everyday. Started the first week with 0.1 liter now upped it to 0.2 liters per plant. I had the HPS light just a bit too close to the plants so i have some very slight curling on a few of the leafs. No problem i just move the light up 5cm. So far im very pleased with the growth rate

Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

still growing fast as fuck. i was falling more and more in love with her as time passed. she was showing signs of hunger so i gave her, her first feed of veg nutes on december 5th 2021. I mixed 1/2 tsp to each gallon. I used a bucket with 3 gallons of dechlorinated tap water. Decmber 8th: same amount of veg to gallons of water with the same 1/2 tsp. phd to 6.4. December 10th gave her a feed honestly dont know how much. id say about 10-20 cups worth of dechlorinated tap water with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to 3 gallons.

Week 10 for Black Lebanon by SSSC She's looking a lot nicer after she's adjusted to the training the previous week. Unfortunately its been way too hot😥 She did end up getting a little leaf burn here & there but not much. Its a little hard figuring out when these 250L pots need to be watered/how much water they actually need😅 I gave her 7L of water yesterday afternoon but the temps are staying in the low 40's this upcoming week so ill be giving her more water this evening too. She's really turning into a big monster😂 Really enjoying this plant.

Hi people, how are you all???? Week 7 here, and all is good with the plant, I did some defoliation to keep the airflow, and I got a ScrOG to open the plant a little bit to get more light. This past week has gone without a hitch. Touch wood but my light timer blunder last week hasn't punished me... Yet... The girls are still bulking up, the lady at the back must be in the dark almost, those large colas at the back are actually from the middle plant... Proper bully! Unfortunately as I have to go under the lights to take some photos, all of the exposures and colours look a bit different from photo to photo. Exactly 4 weeks until the planned chop now :P I'll be making dry ice hash from fresh trim also, and will post some pics when the big day comes... It has been a good week for the girls. 14 days old today and these ladies are some fast growing plants. They will get their next feed tonight when the lights come on. Their feed will be 600 ppm 1.2 ec and it will be ph'ed at 5.8. Good growth this week so we increase by 100 ppm. The runoff values I will post after feeding. Thanks to Kannabia for some good growing genetics. Looking like it's going to be a trouble free grow. Just the way I like it.. Shout out to all my growmie family....Cheers.. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! This ladies look absolutely gorgeous and super strong, they're gonna be flipped into flower tomorrow on February 15th when they'll hit the 30th day since they were planted and the first day of flower! As said, I have flipped this ladies into flower on February 15th so now I think we're gonna see a beautiful stretch specially on this 2 plants which are the biggest one in the tent, very nice genetic, cannot wait to see their performance ❤️💛💚👨‍🌾 stay tuned everybody!
