This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. This diary features the RUNTZ XL AUTO strain by SweetSeeds. In the meantime, all seeds have germinated and seemed to have a level start. Also here we loaded the grow with our magical intentions as we sowed on Imbolc, the celebration day of the Goddess of spring: Bridget. We cant wait to see where this will lead us. Both strains will have the exact same conditions, lighting, care and nutrition. The Lights Also here we use our trusty Mars Hydro SP-3000, where we are trying to get over 600 grams (2x gram per watt) we succeeded almost on the previous grow, where we got to 1.5 grams per watt. We are starting in the regulars when these strains have only 4 to 5 weeks left to go, to double up on the 18hr light schedule. This week was a good recovery week, after this previous disaster at the beginning of the week. They took about 3 days to bounce back. I had to defoliate pretty heavily. You can't tell 4 days later that I did. I wanna avoid defoliating too often, as these poor buggers are already stressed. I think in about 3 days I will see if they stop growing in height, when they do... I will defoliate again. All for all, I'm pretty happy that they bounced back so well. I also have upped the EC a touch to 1.5 this week, and I'm only seeing the tiniest hint of tip burn. So I think they are at the max before it starts to really burn them. The rate they are drinking, its a struggle to keep the mix at 1.4.

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur. Willkommen in Woche 4 der vegetativen Phase! 🌱 Die Ladys haben das Umtopfen in die großen 14L-Töpfe sehr gut verkraftet – sie sehen gesund aus und entwickeln sich prächtig! Momentan gieße ich alle zwei Tage etwa 4 Liter auf alle Töpfe verteilt. Ich nutze dabei einen Drucksprüher, was sich bei meinem Canna-Koko-Erde-Mix absolut bewährt hat. Das Substrat bleibt gleichmäßig feucht und die Wurzeln scheinen es zu lieben! Ein kleines Thema aktuell: die Luftfeuchtigkeit. Aufgrund der Temperaturen ist die Luft recht trocken – ich überlege, den Luftbefeuchter wieder in Betrieb zu nehmen 😄 Allerdings zeigen die Pflanzen bislang keine Anzeichen von Stress, also scheint alles noch im grünen Bereich zu sein. Ich bin mir noch etwas unsicher, wie lange ich die Vegi-Phase dieses Mal laufen lassen möchte. Bald werde ich jedoch mit dem LST (Low Stress Training) beginnen, um die Struktur der Pflanzen optimal auf die Blüte vorzubereiten. Bis dahin – happy growing! 🌿

Hello, readers! I've been in a different country this week, so I didn't keep an eye on Mirra. However, my friend came few times to take pictures and add new solution. Because of that I don't know precise temp and humidity. Also I decided not to train the plant, because my friend would've struggle to fix the wires, while the plant grows. I also switched to 35 liters, as I wanted before. Now I have 3 air-pump, each of it consumes 3watt and blows 2.5-3 liter per minute. So, in my calculations it should be enough air. Preflower started 😍 Feeding: I decided to experiment with food. I have some new fertilizers which are waaaay(~50 times) cheaper than the weed-fertilizers. Let's test it. It's recommended dosage of mixing is 10gr/liter to get this NPK proportions per liter. In fact 1 gr/liter of this nutrients rises PPM by 350. And one of them slightly lowering PH, which is good for me. NPK20, B 0.01, Cu 0.02, Fe 0.04, Mn 0.01, Mo 0.002, Zn 0.002 - 30 gr to 35 liters. Or 0.85 gr/liter. N 15.5 CaO 26 - 10 gr to 35 liters. or 0.28 gr/liter.

Big textwall incoming homies: Here Im doin some shit i knew from owning low to middle branded smd grow panels* how is that usually they come with both uv , ir, far red even newer quantum boards supplements itself with diverse chips extending their photosynthetic spectrum or making specific accesory bars / modules yet my purporse is rather focus on UV as this 15w bar (advertised as nominal 9 x 3w powered led) with UV-A 390-400nm spectrum – something that trigger some reaction to the plants with some other color son the flowering phase and trying to establish functional a ratio , as a bit of blue green and yellow have specific purposes instead of providing absurd quantities of red light , as there is some lateral cold bulbs in smaller but necessary ratios (as blue spectrum is still required on flowering , yet the original purpose was to complement mid to low branch development) in this shitty set up bonding with the upper bulbs and their colour temperature schema, every light has it's own schedule as how i suppose is a morning to night as something that cause plant resistance response (kinda noticed something i need to stimulate as i see a bit of fox-tailing but now with the uv-a i propose to build resistance and activate defense mechanisms like resin and of course, plant morphology according to its stage making bulkier , tankier , according to outdoor’s atmosphere i want to replicate as optimal weather as well – i hope this hardship make them more resilient and increase their health points as here i’s a HOT GIRL SUMMER- even indoors it rises my base temperature makes smell notorious, but as is not the usual weed smell make it and advantage in terms of discretion Killer Kush presents slight sweet tones not very prominent, the only herbal smell can be associated to pine undermining the refined coffee-like smell that is the dominant note (this selection of kush lack of lemon notes up to this point i can say it’s earthy with a bit of sour & sweetness) . So automatizing it with some timers ( a very good hint to repurpose old shit in your house!) im doing a Schedule that turn off some lights through the course of the day switching the intensity and the spectrum itself , making a sweet morning to afternoon look alike , , making that timer looks really like a basement like a nice dream to my plants, not exposing them to very disfavourable conditions and yet controlling my electric bill peaking , by the same reason , ventilation is also measured as im relying just on ventilators to distribute and disperse heat and also doing the role of intraction / extractors, there are 9 usb fans in various levels of this weed maze <3 . It's noticeable the quick evolution of these plants as there is no other factors to be aware except heat management as plants seem with not negative traces except some burnt leaf from previous weeks so i expect that they should be ready at the end of the month by my a personal mania of ripping shit all at once in order all to have that space at disposition for new projets , i will report stability eventually as they seemed quite rare enough when before putting to flower all, there was one already flowering AND THAT WAS FUCK THIS SHIT AND BECAUSE ITS NO CHEAP BULK TO EXPECT THIS SHIT!** ), and that shit become tears in the rain as that put me in some shit i can’t control or overcome, and just deal with in this strange lst bondage metal succubus nightmare that will be a nightmare to unmount too. Yet, i want the best conditions for her as all plants except her are ok so now the lateral bulbs also switched to give her more light (there is one on the left, right and on the back side, but i think better results with a neutral colour and using t5 led tubes with a water resistant case in each corner of the tent if i try to re do lateral lights ! ) *I still own the panels, in a next future, but not in this run i can use them as i think how i can supplement them and make them a team player as beyonding spectrum shaman shit i know now , and thankful to the chinese kids that made these fucking cheap as hell blessed bulbs,as they made me allow quickly adapt the spectrum on the main setup is 3000-4000k at the same ratio, with the addition of a cold light of 6500k on the idea of middle branching development too , and a small pint of unholy uv doing early 2000s cyberpunk shit with old trash janitor with compulsive hoarding stuff with some big gas leaks attitude niggas . **I do second runs of plants in order reach a better result through practice - but is noticeable the lack of stability on these bastards as i was very happy with previous strains i can say this strain is a big no! , unlike their famous ones, like black Jack or sweet cheese , the former ones fast version are way more stable and they didn’t presented me autoflowering phenos in the batch … i don’t hate autos, but i hate to mix them with feminized on the same run, its like having a hermaphrodite indoors for me. 😫😫😫

We in a 3x3 atm. But I may tf them into the 4x4 very soon. Got some yellow tips and paleness on a few leaves. Ph may need looking at or lowering my nute feed. I was going to get another 1 or 2 weeks but she could not handle her own weight and to be fair I really pushed her hard with the amount of lighting. Smells and looks fantastic, quick trim of the big fan leaves will let her dry out for bit. Will report back next week with weight.

Check out these lovely Lemmosa ladies! 😍 The buds are covered in trichomes, spreading out onto the leaves. I'm growing three, and each one of them has a slightly different smell. They now have a strong odor. They smell like skunky lemon gas. One of them has a fresher lemony gas smell. The buds form tight and dense, and spaced out from each other. The hairs (pistols) have started to change color on the tips of the plant. This is the 5th week into flowering, so it seems early for the colors to change. But, this is the best grow for me, so far. With this being my fourth run. They only needed a few leaves trimmed. I fed them FLOWER as a nutrient tea. The lights are now on 10, the highest setting.
