End of week 6, pistils started to form so I decided to switch to a 12/12 light cycle and move them in the tent. Defoliated both, and did LST on one and super crop the other.

So this will be the last pictures before Harvest. The blueberry Kush is definitely ready with mostly amber colored and cloudy trichromes. The white Rhino similar, but more cloudy colored trichromes. The Caramelicious is the same as white widow about 60/40 cloudy/amber trichromes. I flushed them twice 3 gallons of purified water each fed them yesterday plain tap water ph'd to 6.3. I'm excited to see what each yeild once harvested and dried. Today Marks Day 101, it will be day 103 when I chop. This was my first grow ever and I feel like I've learned alot yet still don't know shit, lol. Thanks to everyone who helped answer my questions it helped in keeping me from panicking and over reacting. I never knew this plant required so much energy and attention. Day 133: I have stopped adding nutrients. Now its just boosters. Harvest will be in exactly one week. The Buds look really good. I think the yield will be incredible. I don't know if it has to do with my conditions, but the weed I grow in the tent always turns out somewhat purpleish. This grow has been quite the adventure. The smell is very earhy and spicy. Unlike anything else I've grown so far. Btw. the camera did an awesome job with the macro shots. I don't even need a magnifier anymore, crazy.

Some brown spots shows on humidity effected leafs so I removed them to control a healthy conditions 💪 💪 💪 Update: Day 30 Ladies definitely goes in flowering stage, every day I can observe a massive size and high changes. It's look like the tent will be full of buds soon. I'm very happy to see a purple colour on my Purple Lemonade. 8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. I DONT SEE ADULT THRIPS BUT I SEE THE EGGS AND SHIT IN THE CREVICE AND SOMETHING IS COMING AND EARING SMALL LOWER FOLIAGE. I DEFOLIATED MORE AND THEN "SPOT TREATED" A FEW LEAVES ON A BOTTOM BRANCH OF THE 10TH PLANET WITH MITE X. I'M WAITING UNTIL THE MORNING TO SEE THE RESULTS AND BEFORE I MOVE FORWARD. I HAVE ORGANOCIDE BEE SAFE AND I KNOW IT WORKS GOOD BUT IT SMELLS LIKE SHIT. IM HOPING ILL FIGURE THIS OUT. 8/24 Didn't have time to do a video or take any pictures. I pit a lot of work in the garden yesterday. I removed a couple small branches that had mold on the stem. If I had listened to my intuition and moved that plant (instead of listening to my dad) I probably could've negated this mess. Windy as hell yesterday. Maybe that's why I don't see mich damage from the thrips. The runt in the 50 has some silver ingredients on it. I'm considering using spinosad. Those are way earlier in flower and that shit WORKS. The plants that I treated with citric acid looked no worse for the wear and actually BETTER than they hadcthe day before. The other 10th planet and the Pink kusg in the ten are the worst. If I can't beat it I may junk them. I'm planning on treatingvtge plants I didn't yesterday tonight. I may use a different treatment I'm not sure. EDIT: Went back over and took a few pics and a video. I defoliated a SHIT TON of leaves. I can just tell the ones that the thrips have been sucking and laying eggs. It's windy as hell. Plants are going crazy. I'm wondering if the wind will hurt the thrips. Maybe I should've just stood with the wind at my back and throw a buNch of D.E. in the air and have it coat the plants. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. The plants I treated showed no I'll effects. I'm th8nkobg I'm going to remove patient zero and isolate it. And I'm considering using spinosad on the pink kush. What would you do? If you had to use something in the middle of flower or loss your crop which would you choose? I'll probably just use citric acid or the rubbing alcohol. I don't know. I'll keep it updated. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. VD# 35 Good evening everyone, The week has gone really well for the Pineapple Express. I topped her, she is still in the recovery phase, her growth is slightly reduced, which will subside in the next few days. Her side shoots are now sprouting more, as soon as the 2 new main shoots are growing actively again she has completely survived the stress. If she is sent into flowering the 18/6 cycle will then be changed to 12/12. Without the stress she has now, she would actually already be showing her sex,but now that the primary focus is on wound healing, this is being postponed a little. D18 - Today was the first day in week three of veg, and it was time for transplanting the girl into her final pot. All I did was get her out of her cup, sprinkle some mycorhizal inoculant on her roots, and then plant her back into the pot. Finally, I gave her around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.4 to reduce transplant shock. D20 - Not much to report, but she is looking happy after the transplant. I gave her about 0.6-liters of water @ pH 6.5 just because I had some over from watering the Colorado Cookies girl. Overwatering a single time should be fine. D22 - She is loving her new home, looking vibrant and healthy. I cut down the cover crop as it was getting a bit unruly. D23 - I opened the tent today and realized I forgot to fill up the humidifier last night. The RH in the tent was only 29%. Oops! I gave the girl about one liter of compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. 24 - The end of the third week of veg and she is loving life after her transplant. She is 9 cm tall and 13 cm across and has grown sturdy enough to start LST next week.

These ladies continue to develop very nicely and lucky stopped stretching pretty much in the beginning of this week and the buds are forming super nicely. Since I also don’t observe a stretch in flower anymore, I decided to feed pk13/14 for the next week. It continues to surprise me how hungry these autos are, much hungrier than my glookies fro example. Unfortunately I realized that the plant on the very right of the box produces much smaller buds than the other two. I am pinning that on the fan right above her, so have pointed it slightly higher, but I guess the damage is done:(.
