This week has been wild. I had to cut the sides of the greenhouse as the plants had it bursting at the seams. These girls are all flowering beautifully and starting to frost up. Happy Growing.

Another mostly positive week completed. Pests firmly at bay. Environment humidity looking good and all the buds are getting bigger. Top dressed some nutrients / insect frass earlier in the week which I’m sure was a week or so late. - Heidi looking very hungry by D57 - the whole plant is looking yellow. Solution to problem is some organic liquid nutes which arrived today from now as needed. Overall they and the other 2 ladies in the tent are looking a zillion times better than my first grow. These girls are growing amazing. I did some defoliation and lollipopped them this week. Hopefully with more air flow at the canopy level and lollipopping, the tops and main colas can focus all the energy on growing some beautiful flowers. All in all Happy

First of all, Big thank you to the Super Sativa Seed Club for allowing me to Compete in the autoflower contest and providing the seeds. Day 1- Placed into water, leaving in warm dark place for 24-48hrs. Day 2 - seed sank, now decided to place in paper towel, in a bag in the cupboard. Will wait 24 hrs for tap root to emerge and to 2-3cm this time. Day 3- Tap root emerged about 1-2cm. I have transplanted to final 3gal fabric pot. I have used, 60% canna terra pro plus, 30%perlite and 10% canna terra potting mix. The potting mix I use only as a transplant medium within its final container, just to allow around the seed a better chance for roots to develop as I found just using terrapro plus they struggle to establish because of how rich it is. After planting I gave a light pH water only and covered with jug. I find this helps retain humidity on the little seedlings. Day 5 - seedling emerged from soil, a very happy, healthy seed to pop so far 😁✌️ Day 6- Showing fast growth for this little auto, she is definitely designed for a race 🤣 still only water pH balanced.

Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

This lady is huge. She has stretched like made going into flower. I really cleaned out a lot of growth so I don’t get a ton of popcorn nugs. She is drinking a lot, anywhere from 7-10 gallons every two days. 😎🍿🍻🌱

They’re getting close! I could probably chop the GSC and GC but the Gelato has at least 2 weeks to go. I was hoping to bring them all down at once and dry in the tent but I may have to figure something else out. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing garden ive grown so far. I enjoy all manner of plants and in general the GC is the nicest looking mj plant I’ve ever produced. I’d love a porch full just for the look! Anyways, all these girls are a little stunted from all the cold nights. Dark temps under 60, a lot under 50-55 for most of their lives but they look good, and still very frosty. Never had gelato or GC before so im excited to try them out, thanks for dropping by!

Bueno, ayer hice el ultimo riego, mas cantidad de lo habitual, y ya cuando seque, se corta, supongo que actualizaré fotos, conforme avance la semana, del corte y posterior proceso ya que dado que hubo araña y ciertos problemas, voy a hacer el budwashing que habitualmente hago. En el video se ve algún cogollo con telaraña de araña roja, de ahí el budwashing. Dentro de lo malo, no son todos los cocos los que la tienen pero bueno, un buen lavado no jode nada.

Going to run 6 different fast buds strains this time.Dropped the seeds in the water and now a wait for the tap roots.One of the seeds is from Papaya cookies last run I found a single perfect seed and hopefully she grows as strong like the plant she come from :). Germinated all seeds in RO water at room temps for 24 hours and gave a little tap with a spoon and they fell to the bottom.I left them in the dark in water for 48 hours total and placed them in a warm wet paper towel in a sealed container for 24 hours.The seeds all developed nice tap roots 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch long and I planted in 5 gal pots.Using a 3 inch layer of fox farm ocean forest on the bottom and the top layer is Pro Mix.

This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. This Gorilla Cookie is a beast. Even took a beating from a falling fan but kept going. She'll do the best out of the group I bet. Decidi optar por 15 dias de flush, comecei no dia 60 de floração regando com aproximadamente 10 litros de água com pH 6.7-6.8 @ cada 3 ou 4 dias (regando somente até sair embaixo e encher o prato). Essa semana foi uma das mais lindas de acompanhar, eu achei incrível o quanto ela engordou desde o primeiro dia de flush e eu ainda vou deixar crescer mais uma semana. Terminamos portanto essa semana no dia 67 de flora e eu vou deixar até dia 75. Meu objetivo são 200 gramas trimadas secas. Mas 150g já passa de 1g/w e isso já será uma vitória pra mim.
