~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2206 girls and they're on a roll! When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and I'm thinking over topping them in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped the #1 Tester #2206 taking off the 5th leaf set. Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. I left the #2 alone as she's not quite as tall as the #1. I may not top the #2 as a sort of comparison to see how each grows out. Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and they should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! The snow is really coming down out there. Big fat flakes are piling up on the ground, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I guess that means no outdoor plans for today. Might be the perfect day to get cozy inside with a warm drink and a good book The pound cake auto plant is growing like crazy! I'm so happy to see all the progress we've made. Yesterday, I finally got around to tying it down – it's amazing how much more stable it feels now. I can't wait to see what this plant looks like in a few more weeks.

3. Woche So langsam tut sich was. Ich muss noch bisschen an meiner Technik üben. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich bei den anderen Ladys irgendwie was anders gemacht habe aber naja egal, ich probiere das jetzt erstmal so aus. Hulkberry, Cinderella usw zeigen noch keine Anzeichen, dass sie blühen wollen 🤷🏻‍♂️ Hoffe ich kann bei Cherry Cola RF3 und den weiteren noch bisschen weiter Üben. Mein VPD ist mal wieder nicht erwähnenswert mit über 2. 🤭 Habt ein schönes Wochenende

I also took off the first set of single bladed leaves and first nodes. What remains on the seedling is the second and third nodes with their sets of leaves. The weather was mild and all over the place. So far there has been no pest issues. 😍

From what I've learnt since, by defoliating and not ensuring sufficient reserves in the Substrate after taking their reserves from the bigger fan leaves at strip, this left 1 pheno more hungry than the others, but still all 4 suffered to some degree which was really disappointing. I was too busy enjoying the festive period with family so its a good enough excuse! ;)

Ayer 07 de agosto, corté la primera de dos plantas "Pineapple express Auto", debo decir que la experiencia con el banco en un principio no fue del todo satisfactoria, ya que soló germinaron 2 de 4 semillas, debo reconocer también que entrando a la fase de floración, las plantas muestran todo su potencial, al cabo de la segunda semana de floración son notorios los olores citricos dentro del armario y en la fase final de la floración, el olor es increible!, dulce citrico y terroso, se siente aspero al inhalar de cerca. En cuanto a las flores, cortas pero muy densas, se nota el aporte de su genetica "Ruderalis" obteniendo "Collogos" densos, robustos y con mucha resina en las partes inferiores de la flores donde la luz llega con una intensidad menor, creo que bajar el fotoperiodo en las ultimas dos semanas de floración puede ser un gran acierto para la generación de tricomas abundantes y terpenos inigualables, lo pondré a prueba. Por lo tanto debo decir que gracias a TOP Crop, Barney´s Farm, las Micorrisas y la luz LED, obtuve excelentes resultados. Laos numeros son: 368 gramos humedos de "Cogollos" los cuales podrían llegar a transformarse en 110 gramos secos de flores. Estén atentos para ver en veinte días más, cuanto bajo la humedad y los verdaderos valores secos. July 6: looking good stating week 11. Nice response to the last round of topping to form a 16 cola manifold. After a couple more days of growth I’ll do another scrog layer to open it up further to the sun. So far so good. 👍 July 7: added scrog net. This is tied to half filled water bottles that can move if the plant catches some wind. Main reason at this growth stage is to help expose the growth tips and to hold down the fan leaves. Basically, I’m doing this instead of tomato cages because cannabis plants are tough and a net is better than a metal cage. July 8: hot 33 C today. Extra water, misting during peak sun, and some seaweed extract in the water. Continuing to mist regularly to make up for low humidity. Plant looks nice and green and vigorous. Growing at more than an inch per day now. July 9; hot again. Misting every few hours and foliar of seaweed extract and potassium silicate to help beat the heat. July 10: hot but this should be the peak day. Re-scrogged using a loose scrog layer. The overnight low here was almost 20 C which is super warm. Started another (third) lazy compost tea. Ingredients in a 5 gallon pail are 4 gallons (16 L) of water, compost, shredded coco coir fibre so bacteria have physical media to grow on, 1 tbsp of seaweed extract and humic acid blend, and 0.8 mL/L of Monster Maxx. About 1.5 tbsp of blackstrap molasses. No pH adjustment yet, and will let stand until end of day to allow some bacterial growth. July 12: made it through the heat wave and she looks great this morning.

This grow has been sooooo easy apart from a slight bit of nutrient burn that you can see, she has been a pleasure to grow, she is taking longer than expected but i wouldnt have her any other way lol. Ive noticed that the pistils really turn bright orange even red 😁- i hope she tastes and smells as citrusy as she looks😝 - also getting frosty 👍 Merry Christmas Everyone!!😉

Hat einen leichten Training bekommen ich bin gespannt wie du Buds aussehen werden 🤩

Santa has been working hard so he can give out lots of smelly xmas presents. He has also been working on taking better pics of the buds. Ps. My tent is in my closet in my office (I have been WFH for 2 years). Nothing better on a stressful day than opening up the tent and staring into the green, my type of therapy. Has helped me get through my last semester of gradschool while also working full time.

Raspberry Cough and Candyland are sprinting out in front of the holy punch. They both seem stronger and denser. I’ll do a second run of the holy punch next grow to see if I can get a better outcome!

This is what's left in the tent, the gelato is comin down tonight and maybe the 2 smaller lemon aks maybe tmm. The cream cookies and other lemon AK will come down soon too and then I can get some pics. The pineapple and blue dream get 1 more flush

Day 71. Beautiful strawberry color and smell. Starting flush soon. Day 76. Started flush yesterday. Should be harvesting around day 87.
