Big week of defoliation. Added another level of scrog as well to prevent the plants growing into the light. The medipak are sativas and are stretching like crazy. Medipak #2 in the middle back is looking like an indica with much larger fan leaves and thicker stems. Less stretch compared to medi pak #1 and #3 which are growing like crazy. #3 is gonna be a real heavy yielder...stacked! Smelling of spices and hash The indigo child are stretching much less and are a little slower in flower development. Very similar to the putang I grew previously. Usually slow to start but will pick up steam and fatten up in the last few weeks. Smells like orange soda mixed with grape candy. Has a little sour pine sol finish. Almost identical to the putang. Still one of my favs. Edit day 17. Not great but my setup lost power most of the day. It probably got into the low 50's in my tent, maybe less. I'm sure I'm gonna see some temp shock from that. Sure enough when I looked at the leaves they were a little curled. We shall see what happens. They're big plants so I'm sure they'll bounce back. Maybe lose a few days of stretch... Update day 19: Plants are recovering nicely. Starting to see some frost. Temps are back in check now as well. Update day 20: temps are good.

They bounced back really nice from the topping last week, did some more defoliation and let them heal from the HST. I'm considering topping them again but I don't know if it's time for flowering?!

Update! Not quite cured yet so will add more photos and/or video when I can add a correct smoke report! I have tried it but was too sticky to enjoy! This ones so strong though can smell the runtz and dank ness coming through same as when you smoke just wasn’t ready ready to smoke yet! Will keep you updated! 😉 I have just yielded the best I ever have with all strains but this one ☝️🏽 this one got me 207.42G that’s 7.4oZ totally covered in frosty trichromes sticky from the base to the tip of the cola! Tastes amazing from dry never had that really only a few times but tbh all my strains this time I didn’t have to wait for cure to taste them! Give me a couple of weeks and I’ll add a final report but FYI it knocked me out twice with the same joint loooool

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Just keeping the temps correct is always a challenge in certain indoor grow areas but a tube heater seems perfect. Fan heaters should never be used as they ruin the flavours of the final product. I used a very small fan heater in my first run (obviously not blowing at my plants) but they are too aggressive in heating the air in my opinion and results in on off operation causing fluctuations in temperature. I have purchased a cylinder ceramic heater that does the job perfectly. I know that the temperature in the tent will always be in the good zone.

Small harvest but was due to the over feed of CAL-MAG I had quite early on but still pulled through and flowered almost and OZ. Really nice Sativa from Barneys Farm.

Still not given any food at 35 days since popping. She's growing well and I've put her in a 4ltr pot. I've pinched the top out to slow down the vertical growth.

1000 PPFD / 43 DLI mittig Headbud / Durchschnitt 780 / DLI 34 mittig).

91Grapes day 72. Should have been harvested by now, she was a 65 day +/- from sprout and has two more weeks left, fuc . I think something is wrong with a nutrient imbalance as her leaves continue to lose their vibrant green color. Indications of a mag. Deficiency was evident so added epsom salts 1 tsp per gallon. Problem persisted so went with some bloom nutrients with a little nitrogen if that doesn’t help it might have to just except it and drive on. Flowers are fatter so if that continues then all is well, after all isn’t it the flowers we are growing anyway.

These pound cake auto seeds are 100 off rip. I put the seeds in some paper towels on nov29, then put them in the pro-mix potting soil on dec2. Now it's dec4. Only 5 whole days sense. I put the seeds in paper towels, and they have already been born into this world. Thanks, fastbuds, for the seeds. Ever since I saw the seed drop with the pound cake auto, I have had my eye on this strain. I have really wanted to grow a plant with giant giant huge nugs, and I have yet to do so. I have high hope for these guy. I'm only allowed 12 plant and have 10 plants in other other tent. So I will be tossing one of them later 2day. I plan on only bringing one if them to flower. This is my 1st real auto grow so I'm testing the waters in a spare 2x2 tent with my spider farmer 100 board light the newer one with the evo leds. Thanks for reading

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Let them become forests of buddy bush. Thats it for this week! Thanks for following and happy growing!!

As you can see this poor girl had a hard night last week but we are happy to say that she survived it. We did have to top most of the branches because they had died off but she is recovering very well. This is going to be a bushy plant and we look forward to seeing her bloom, at the moment we are sorting out placement of all of our ladies! It is soon time and we are very excited! Once we transplant all feeding info will be recorded, it’s been a muddled winter season to say the least!
